Guide for obtaining all achievements in Pilgrims
Info
Pilgrims is a short point and click adventure game by Amanita Design where you use cards to make actions instead of the usual inventory system.
Notes:
- We can double click on locations to travel there faster.
- Its possible to speedup cutscenes by clicking on a fast farward button on the bottom right corner of the screen. Or by pressing Spacebar on the keyboard.
- You mostly have to place the people’s card(s) on the screen to be able to do stuff. We won’t mention this at every location.
Game map:
Walkthrough + Achievements
Start a new game.
Place hobo card on the location.
Click on tent to get a Coin.
Go back to map and enter the Potato soil location above the tent.
Use the Hobo card. Pick up the Hoe and use it on the soil to get potatoes, pick them up and go back to map.
Go to the location with a bonfire, Use the hobo card, pick up the cauldron.
Put the cauldron above the fire, then put the potatoes inside the cauldron and pick up the boiled potatoes.
Go back to map and enter the location with the bandit.
Use the hobo card Pick up the Acorn and give the bandit the boiled potatoes.
Debt Free
Go back to map and enter the location with a bridge.
Give Granny the Coin and she would join you and go back to map.
Alms
Go to Witch’s house, pick up the Poppy Flowers and go back to map.
Enter the the location with the Bonfire up north, and pick up the rope and mushroom.
Place the hobo card on the location, cook the mushroom and use the mushroom card to eat it.
Enter the Pond location and fill the cauldron with water and go back to map.
Enter the castle location pick up the worm and go back to map.
Go to Devil’s lair, Use the Hobo card and the Acorn. Now use the rope and the devil will join you. After that go back to map.
The Devil is My Friend
Enter the location with the Seller, and use Granny card. Use the Rope and the Coin to entertain the seller and he will allow you to buy his items. Use the coin again to buy the fishing rod.
Funny Granny
Go back to map and enter the Pond. Use the Fishing Rod, and the Worm card to catch a Fish
Use the Acorn card on the lake to get an achievement:
Throw the Fish back to the lake to get another achievement:
Throw the Mushroom in the lake for another achievement:
Go back to map and enter the castle to pickup another worm, return to Pond and repeat the previous steps to catch another fish.
Go back to map, and enter the Bonfire location,Pick up another Mushroom and use the Fish card to cook it. Use the Cauldron on the bonfire, and put the poppy seeds inside and take the Sleep potion.
Go back to map and enter the witch’s hut, use the Hobo card and use the Mushroom on the witch, quickly take the Broom.
Use the Granny card and the Broom card to hit the witch on the head, when her eyes are on fire use the cauldron to dispatch of her.
Re-enter the location with the Hobo card and take some more Poppy seeds.
Flower
Go back to map and enter the Bar, use the coin 3 times picking it up after each use to get an achievement:
Use the Cooked fish on the bartender to get Wine and go back to map.
Enter the location with the bandit and give him the Wine and Acorn he will now join us.
In Good Spirits
Go back to map and enter the Bear’s cave. Use the bandit card, and the gun with acorn to dispatch of the bear and get the Diamond.
Ouch!
Go back to map and enter the Castle ,Use the bandit card and he will open the bridge to the castle and a new location with the dragon will be revealed on the map.
Use the Diamond card to give the diamond back to the king and get a bag of gold coins. Go back to the castle and grab another worm.
King’s Jewel
Go to the Pond and use the Bandit card, he will swim in the lake and leave his clothes.
Use the Cauldron to fill it with water and catch another fish using Fishing rod + Worm cards.
Go back to map and go to the Bonfire location. Use the fish card to get another Cooked fish, and pick up another mushroom Use the Cauldron card and the poppy seeds again and pick it up.
Go back to map and go to the seller, use the Hobo card and buy the Sword using the Bag of coins.
Expensive Deal
Go back to map and enter the Dragon lair location. Use the Bandit card, and after the dragons tries to swallow you use the Fishing Rod card and a Mushroom. Wild Dreams achievement unlocks after waiting a few seconds.

Part 2
Re-enter the location, use the Bandit card again and this time use the broom and Sleep potion later.

Go back to map and enter the Bar, give the bartender the Cooked fish to get another bottle of Wine
Go back to map and enter the lake and use the bottle of wine on the lake to get earn achievement:
That’s Not Water
Go to castle to grab another worm.
Go to the pond and use Fishing rod+Worm to get another Fish and go back to the bonfire location to cook it and pick up a mushroom.
Go back to map and enter the dragon’s lair, use either Broom, or fishing rod and a Gun with acorn cards later.
Go back to map and enter the Church. Use the hobo card to talk to the priest, now switch to the Bandit and he will punch the priest, now use the broom card and go back to map.
Direct Hit

Part 3
Enter the Pond again and get another fish by combining Fishing rod + Worm card. leave and go to the bonfire to pick up another Mushroom. Cook the worm over the fire. Also cook the fish over the fire.
Bratwurm
Go back to map and enter the Bar. Use the Cooked Fish to get another bottle of Wine.
Go back to map and enter the church. Use the hobo card and give the priest a bottle of wine.
Rummy
Go back to map and to the dragon’s lair, use the bandit card and either fishing rod or broom, now use the gun + acorn and the sword afterwards to kill the dragon.
Go back to map and enter the Castle. Place bandit card on castle, he is now the new king!
Long Live The King
The King is Naked
Re-enter the castle to get another achievement:
New Order
Go to the Witch House to grab some poppy seeds again. Go back to the Pond and refill the cauldron with water, go to the bonfire and use the cauldron and the poppy seeds to get sleeping potion.
Go back to map and enter the church,use the hobo card and give the sleeping potion to the priest.
when he is stunned switch to the devil and use the rope card to catch the priest.
Zonked
Go back to map and enter the Devil’s lair. Place devil’s card on location.
Deal with the Devil
Re-enter the location to get another achievement:
Your Soul Is Mine
Go back to the Church again and use a hobo card for an achievement:
Blessed
Finally Go to the location with the boat and use the hobo card and bird card to reunite the bird and the ferryman and finish the game!
Happy Reunion
Cleanup
Repeat all steps from your first playthrough, but this time DO NOT give granny a coin.
Pick up the Rope and Mushroom from the Bonfire location.
And poppy seeds from Witch’s hut.
Go to the devil’s lair and use an acorn, and afterwards rope on him.
Go back to map and to the seller location, and use the devil’s card and afterwards the Poppy seeds, and Acorn to earn:
Funny Devil
Buy the fishing rod using the coin get a Worm from the Castle, and get a fish from the lake, cook it in the bonfire location and give the fish to Granny at the bridge to get.
Tasty Alms
Go to the castle to grab another worm. Catch and cook another fish and trade it for the wine. Give this wine and an acorn to the bandit to make him join you.
This time go to the Witch’s house and use the Bandit card and afterwards the gun and get the broom to get:

Go back to map and enter the church, use the granny card and afterwards the Gun+Acorn cards to get:

Go back to map and enter the Bear’s Cave, granny and afterwards the Broom to get:

Now go back to the Seller and use the Hobo card and later diamond to get:

Go back to the map and enter the Castle, use the bandit to open the gate and talk to the king.
Head back to map and go to the Dragon’s lair, use the bandit, and afterwards the sword.
Head back to the Castle and use Bandit card and afterwards the Sword The princess will now follow you.
Go back to map and enter the dragon’s lair, use the princess card to get:
Treasure Chest
Start a new game.
Repeat all the steps of the first playthrough, but this time use the Hobo card on the seller, and use the Mushroom and Worm cards from the Bonfire and Castle locations.
This will earn you:
Funny Hobo
Go to the witch house to get poppy seeds again. Then go to the pond to fill your cauldron. Go to the bonfire to make a sleeping potion with the cauldron + poppy seeds on the fire. Finally go the bear’s cave, use the sleeping potion on him.
Sleeping Potion
Start a new game.
Repeat all steps from before,and get a fishing rod from the seller by using the hobo on the seller with the mushroom and worm and then giving the seller a coin.
Catch a fish, cook it at the bonfire and trade it at the bar for wine.
Head to the bear cave and give the bear Wine to get the final two achievements.
