Overview
The Architects are a species that hail from a distant solar system. They are robotic in nature although it is theorized that at one time they may have been biological. They have only appeared recently having been in hibernation under the crust of many different planets. The species go into a hibernation after times of low technological breakthrough . This is so as they sleep under a planets crust undetected other civilizations can grow above them on the surface of the planet. Eventually Architect research bots will scan for new useful technologies made by the civilization above and use them. After all new research is gathered they will rise up and take back the surface obliterating the cities above and then go to sleep once more on a barren planet.
Goal
The Architects exist to learn and main goal is to gain tech and expand on it.
