Health Research

[Zombie Health Research]

  • Zombies only have a general 1.0 Health bar. Once it reaches 1.0 they die.
  • Green Zombies are like the standart for damage scaling as pistols do 0.2 damage and
green zombies take 0.2 damage per shot.
  • Any other zombies have higher resistance to damage. They divide the damage to a certain number.
  • Blue have a 50% resistance as damage only deals 0.1 damage and red have 75% resistance as damage only deals 0.05 damage.
  • If we instead use health threshhold and use pistol shots as the basic 10 hp damage then Green Zombies die at 100hp damage and Blue zombies die at 200 hp damage.
  • Instead of using percentage to showcase the resistance of each zombie i’ll only be using health threshhold or in short their max hp.
  • Zombies recover hp overtime. I havent researched that yet.

[Limbs Research]

  • Chest is the standart damage and how i mostly got their max health.
  • Heads have a damage multiplier of x2 and is always consistent.
  • Legs have a damage multiplier of x0.5 unless the dealt damage goes over a threshhold.
  • Once legs have been crippled attacking them no longer deals damage to the zombie.
  • Legs have their own hp threshhold and doesnt seem to follow a rule.

[Armour Research]

  • Armour negates all bullets.
  • Armour have their own hp threshhold and can be destroyed.
  • Armour has a weird rule to their multiplier. Armour on humans have 320hp and armour on an invisible strain human have 1400hp.
  • My guess is that armour copy the hp of their wearer and multiply that something between 2-3.
  • Armour is useless against blunt and doesnt provide any resistance.
  • Armour negates all sharp damage.

[Melee Research]

  • Melee weapons follow the same rules as ranged weapons.
  • Melee weapons sometimes do double damage at random. I dont know why.
  • Melee weapons ignore armour as the damage is always consistent.
  • Melee weapons make use of the hand to hand skill.

[Human Health Research]

  • Humans seem to have the same hp as green zombies.
  • They have more health the higher their strength skill is.
  • At strength lvl 5 they have 200 hp. I think each strength level adds 20hp.
  • Humans receive bleeding damage overtime on each wound. I havent calculated that yet.

Resistance Research

Green Zombies same health loss as damage. (0.2 damage equals to 0.2 health loss)
Blue Zombie halve health loss as damage (0.2 damage equals 0.1 health loss)
Red Zombie quarter health loss as damage (0.4 damage equals 0.1 health loss)
White Zombie damage is multiplied by 0.175 (4 damage equals 0.7 health loss)
Invisible Strain Zombie damage is multiplied by 0.15 (6 damage equals 0.9 health loss)

Equation used

Green Zombie 0.2 : 0.2 = 0
Blue Zombie 0.1 : 0.2 = 0.5
Red Zombie 0.1 : 0.4 = 0.25
White Zombie 0.7 : 4 = 0.175
Invisible Strain Zombie 0.9 : 6 = 0.15

Health Regen

Zombies heal 0.01 every 9 seconds.
We can convert that into hp too.

Green Zombie heal 1hp every 9 seconds
Blue Zombie heal 2hp every 9 seconds
Red Zombie heal 4hp every 9 seconds
White zombie heal 5.7hp every 9 seconds
Invisible Strain Zombie heal 6.7hp every 9 seconds

Author Notes

This Guide is only meant to help me research damage for my weapon and zombie guide. I’ll update it overtime but i wont be planning to improve visuals.
As its written its only research at this point. As each zombie have identical 1.0 healthbars going from 0->1.0 to die. To use health threshhold instead of resistance isn’t exactly accurate as the game doesnt make use of max hp. On a later date i’ll add %resistance on each zombie to make this guide more accurate.
I used the custom pistol and modified its damage to 0.1 to figure out the max hp on each zombie.
Will update in the future.
