Overview
A breakdown of OMORI’s achievements, with tips and instructions on how to get them. This guide is meant for those interested in achievements while being mindful of spoilers as much as possible.
Introduction
Welcome! This guide will offer instructions and tips on how to earn all achievements in OMORI with as little hassle as possible. It also has strategies to fight some of the tougher bosses that happen to give achievements.
If you are currently on your first playthrough, you should close this guide and complete the game blind. It has a great story that is very vulnerable to spoilers, so I’d encourage prioritizing your experience with the game over achievement hunting during your first go. If you like the game enough to want to 100% it, then keep reading! Or just search the name of a specific achievement you’re curious about to find it in here.
Also, just a heads-up on terminology: OMORI takes place in different places. There’s WHITE SPACE, the blank room you start off in, the Real World, and Headspace, the colorful world that most of the game takes place in. Barring certain secret endgame areas and places that are in the Real World, you can assume that locations in this guide are Headspace locations.
If you are unfamiliar with how the narrative paths work in OMORI and how they affect achievements, please read the next section.
Routes in OMORI
Your decisions matter in this game, and these decisions alter what achievements you can and can’t get. It is thus impossible to 100% OMORI in one run – at least two runs will be necessary.
There are two major routes in OMORI – the normal route and the Hikikomori route. The main factor separating the two is that to access the Hikikomori route you must never leave the house during the Real World segments. Discussing the Hikikomori route in detail means offering many endgame spoilers, as the endgame is where the normal and Hikikomori routes really change – so bear this spoiler warning in mind. Do not go to the Hikikomori sections of this guide if you do not want to see exclusive endgame content.
If you are playing for the first time and looking for some advice – I strongly suggest you play the normal route. It offers far more context to the broader story of OMORI and IMO a more fulfilling experience altogether, whereas Hikikomori route is similar to Undertale’s Genocide run: it offers unique context for the game’s story, houses the game’s hardest challenges, and would leave an awful overall impression of the game for new players.
Narrative Achievements
This first section will briefly cover achievements that I’ve termed “Narrative Achievements.” These will be acquired naturally in the course of playing the game and aren’t exclusive to any route. Because these are so easy to acquire I will spoiler-flair all the descriptions so to not spoil bosses or in-game events. Just keep playing the game and beating bosses to win these! These are in encounter order in case you’re curious which one you’re stuck at.
Alt+F4
Defeat DOWNLOAD WINDOW.
Since this fight happens so early there aren’t many strategies to offer here beside the basics: set an emotional advantage between your enemy and the team, save your tension meter to use Release Energy, and keep the offensive up.
See you, Space Boyfriend…
Defeat SPACE EX-BOYFRIEND.
If you’re having trouble with this boss and have grinded your party to at least Level 10, try this strategy: open all the watermelons from the Sprout Mole Colony in the northwest of Cattail Field and the Junkyard to collect scrap for the Recycling Machine. By turning all that scrap in and some you will acquire randomly from Kel at the start of Junkyard battles, 25 pieces in all, you will receive the Cellphone charm, which provides a powerful Defense boost that combined with Aubrey’s Counter should help you withstand this boss.
Good Morning!
Wake up in the morning.
You should earn this around three hours into a playthrough.
Oyasumi.
Go to sleep after a long day.
You should earn this around five hours into a playthrough.
OHOHOHOHO!!
Defeat SWEETHEART.
If you’re having trouble with this boss, try grinding your party up to at least Level 20, and spec your party out with attacks that work while being Sad, since this boss makes themselves Happy during battle. Alternatively, since this boss will keep making your team Angry en masse, you could try rolling with the buff from that emotion and tanking her stronger hits head-on.
Buy high, sell low.
Defeat MR. JAWSUM.
This boss is invulnerable while flanked by henchmen, and they will respawn them pretty rapidly after the first few turns. It’s important to establish emotional advantage by getting your team Happy ASAP and knocking both the boss’ henchmen out in one turn to land direct hits on the boss. Know your turn order so you can plan for heavy hits to land on the boss themself. Once their HP is dropped sufficiently they will stop spawning henchmen, and the boss’ HP pool is very low.
When I flex, I feel my best!
Defeat PLUTO (EXPANDED).
Offense is key to this fight – the more damage you can do quickly, the less time you will spend in the latter half of the fight facing the enemy’s powerful AoE attack. Utilize defense debuffs like Power Smash/Stare to make short work of this boss.
Slime Time is Over!
Defeat SLIME GIRLS.
Maintaining emotional advantage over this enemy is key so that when they do their final special attack that drains you of all Juice and lowers stats, you can finish them off immediately with just basic attacks. Note that since they make themselves Angry during the fight, you should make your party Happy.
Whale done.
Defeat HUMPHREY.
Of this boss’ forms, the first and especially the third use a lot of AoE attacks, so Release Energy will be charging quickly. It’s thus important to retain emotional advantage to maximize the damage of that. AoE attacks also mean defensive strats like Aubrey’s Counter are less useful, so figure out better uses for those characters if that’s your go-to tactic.
Non-Route Exclusives, Part 1
The following achievements are not route exclusive but are optional. In order to minimize spoilers I have ordered them in roughly chronological order based on first time acquirable in-game.
You think you’re clever, huh…
Enter code: haveadollariguess at www.omocat-shop.com for $1.00 off.
The description is a joke (though the code works!). You actually have to name the protagonist “OMOCAT” when given the chance. Clever. You get the option to change the name after the achievement is granted, so no need to save scum.
Green Thumb
Water a plant in Basil’s garden back to life.
When you get to walk to Basil’s house for a second time, pick up any watering can and water the flowers. Be sure to check back in to water them throughout the game!
Littering is bad, recycling is better.
Throw away something.
Toss an item from your inventory. Pretty straightforward.
Good Dog
Pet a dog.
In Vast Forest, there is a small clearing with a doghouse and some bones. If you encounter a Ghost Dog here, you can interact with it and earn this achievement early. This is the only way to earn this on the Hikikomori route. However, this is a relatively rare encounter and a much more reliable way to get this is in the Real World. On as early as evening of Day 1, by interacting with the Artist you’ll be able to pet her dog in her home, which is at the far end of Basil’s block. If not then, on Day 2 she will wait outside her house saying the dog has run away. Find the dog on a nearby street and return to the Artist’s house afterward to be able to pet the dog. Petting Kel’s dog either in Kel’s yard or in Faraway Park when the family picnics there also can earn you this achievement. So many dogs, so little time…
So majestic… so beautiful…
Fly the BUTT CERTIFICATE in Cattail Field.
You can acquire the Butt Certificate by finding Berly’s tetherball in Vast Forest, specifically the Train Station section directly west of the right-hand entrance across a small bridge. After completing that sidequest she will give you another prompt that, once you finish, will get you a Butt Certificate. Then just go to Otherworld via the ladder like normal. Note that if you visit Cattail Field once before you have the Butt Certificate you’ll be locked out of the event for this achievement, so best to get the Butt Certificate early.
GWAHAHAHA!!
Defeat ???.
This enemy is found poorly hiding behind a bush in Otherworld Town. Note that they are pretty tough when first encountered, so it’s recommended to grind to ~Level 10 in Junkyard first – however, be careful not to go far enough to trigger the chase sequence with Rosa, which happens the screen after EMS eats the cheese, since that will despawn ???. As a battle strategy I recommend targeting the arms that have low HP but deal big damage before targeting the planet himself.
One for the Road
Gain BREAD using BREAD SLICE.
By this point you will probably have leveled Omori up to Level 5 to earn the move Bread Slice. Just whittle any enemy down to low HP and have Omori be the one to finish it off next turn.
WHAT’S THE BIG IDEA!?!?
Make your way and talk to LONE MOLE.
On the screen just east of Otherworld Town is a bunch of traffic cones in a path. Keep cutting the cones with Omori until you reach the mole.
Goodbye, World!
Defeat THE EARTH.
You can encounter this optional boss in the tunnel between Capt. Spaceboy’s house and the Junkyard. They aren’t that difficult.
They call me SCARETHROW.
Listen to MR. SCARETHROW’S rant.
Once Kel learns how to throw, you can enter the doorway on the upper-left of that screen to find an area previously blocked by Gator Guys. In it is a lone scarecrow and a platform for Kel to throw from. Keep throwing balls and listen to Mr. Scarethrow’s funny monologue in the meantime until you earn the achievement.
Power of Friendship!
RELEASE ENERGY on your foes.
Take seven hits in battle, basic attack an enemy with Omori, and use his down-special. The Space Ex-Boyfriend fight is a good required battle to get this done with.
Perfect Weather Conditions
Defeat Kite Kid
This optional boss can be found in Pinwheel Forest, by going up the ladder in the upper-right segment of Vast Forest. They can be challenging early on, so perhaps complete the Otherworld first, and be sure to take advantage of emotions in combat. Also, focus on hitting Kite Kid in combat, since they’re the one you need to defeat, not their companion.
Christmas Crusher
Ruin Christmas.
In the Sprout Mole Colony, there is a Square Mole celebrating Christmas. Interact with his Christmas tree as Omori and choose to cut it down.
Spring Sympathizer
Choose the SPRING MOLE.
Summer Sympathizer
Choose the SUMMER MOLE.
Fall Sympathizer
Choose the FALL MOLE.
Winter Sympathizer
Choose the WINTER MOLE.
These four achievements can be acquired together with a bit of save scumming. Just save before talking with any of these moles in Sprout Mole Colony and reload after talking to each.
AWEKJRLKJFLKASNFAWIJGAWEFJAWEKFJAKFAASJFKA!
Kill the first SOUS CHEF.
In the kitchen in Sweetheart’s Castle, you play a minigame to bake a cake. Just make a cake incorrectly and that’ll do the trick (note that the correct method is obviously not what the chef is saying!).
Everyone’s a critic.
Watch all the movies in SWEETHEART’S “throne room”.
In Sweetheart’s movie theater there is an interactable which lets your party watch Sweetheart’s propaganda films. These can repeat and there are roughly ten of them so it could take a while to cycle through – maybe 15 minutes. You should be okay just clicking on and off of them when they start.
As expected from professionals!
Perfectly train the SPROUT MOLE choir.
The Sprout Mole Conductor needs Kel’s help to get his choir into shape. This can be tricky but with a little practice can be made easier – try to train yourself to recognize the dozing faces. Note that this doesn’t have to be perfect, just good enough to get the angelic harmony sound at the very end.
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
Commission ROCOCO.
After defeating Sweetheart, return down the trapdoor from the stage room and look on the left side of the hallway to see a newly-accessible hole. Rococo is inside. Listen to him and commission him – it will cost 1,000 clams.
Non-Route Exclusives, Part 2
Hope and Vigor!
Complete ORANGE JOE’S quest.
Orange Joe is found in the north of the optional Orange Oasis, which is accessed by boarding the Train at the Train Station in Vast Forest once you get a Train Pass. You can complete his quest by finding his brother in Dino Dig in Orange Oasis, on its second level.
The Chosen One
Turn the valve to the right in RAIN TOWN.
Rain Town can be accessed by inspecting the sparkles at the top of the orange pond with ice cubes in Orange Oasis. The valve is on the upper-right. You can return to Orange Oasis afterward by inspecting the puddle on the upper-left.
Ohooooooooo…
Defeat UNBREAD TWINS.
This optional boss is found in Breaven, a secret are accessed by pressing the bottom-right four bread graves(?) from left to right in order to make the discovery jingle in the area east of Orange Oasis. There are a number of things to do in this area before reaching this boss and TBH it’s one of the funniest areas in the game so I’d recommend hunting it down, but just know that this boss is tough. They make themselves Sad during battle, so you could spec your party out to be Angry in prep to take the advantage.
Ain’t nobody here but us chickens.
Defeat the CHICKEN? at the top of DINO’S DIG.
Dino’s Dig has four levels, and this enemy awaits alone on the last one. Perhaps the easiest way to make it here on a run is to do a few dry runs of Dino’s Dig to farm Dino Dollars and a Pyramid Key, then once you have ten Dollars purchase the Silver Spoon for twenty digs and on your next run immediately use the Pyramid Key to skip to the second level. With 20 digs you should be able to get to the final level unless you’re very unlucky. Note that the enemies in Dino’s Dig are quite tough (though the one for this achievement is not), and you may want to come back at a later time to do this. Also: save before attempting this, as if the enemy flees (as it tends to do) you may be locked out of this achievement, as it doesn’t respawn. To account for this you could put speed-buffing charms on Kel, such as the Bunny Ears/Rabbit’s Foot earned from the bunny-hater at the Train Station. Try to get his speed above 120.
The currency of the future…
Trade CLAMS for CLEMS.
To access this, you must first complete a sidequest in Sprout Mole Colony after beating Sweetheart: finding Pessi’s thing, which just involves talking to different moles in the Colony. After that is done the shifty-looking mole from the quest will relocate to a manhole cover in front of the Last Resort once the Last Resort’s bosses are beaten. Talk to him and accept his offer. Note that by accepting his offer you will be losing all of your money so if you’re just interested in earning this achievement you can save scum and save yourself some time – however, you can also earn back your money another way. You can hunt down the Shady Mole to his cave below and near the construction area behind the Endless Highway – just use the rightmost entrance to the back-alleys, the one near the first tollbooth. Note that he is required for collecting all Foe Facts entries, a Hikikomori-exclusive achievement, so if you’re going for that then don’t save scum this!
Ghost Party!
Have a ghost party.
You will encounter this ghost party in the haunted pool to the right of the Last Resort. The following is a list of locations of the ghosts:
- In the Junkyard, in the area where Hero first must charm the conveyor belts and Life Jam Guy gives his tutorial.
- In the snowy area in Otherworld that has the igloo/fishing bear/Sno Cone vendor.
- In the Last Resort, on the fourth floor, in the room connecting the Resort to the construction area.
- In the gallery of Sweetheart’s Castle.
- On the floating Pinwheel Island where Kite Kid is fought/C Key is found.
- In the main overworld area of Orange Oasis.
xD
Get the LOL SWORD.
First, pick up the Joke Book from near Weeping Willow on the left side of the first screen in Pyrefly Forest. Then go to the top of the construction site area in the back-alleys of Endless Highway in Deep Well. Climb to the top to add the joke to your book. Then return to Weeping Willow in Pyrefly Forest and have Hero read it to her.
Good Dog?
Pet all the creatures in MARINA’S sector in Humphrey.
In the northern path in Humphrey lies a number of Marina’s prior creations. Just interact with all of them and select “pet” for each. They start appearing in the room after the receptionist desk, and include the following in order:
- Fuchsia, green starfish
- This Guy, waving arms back and forth
- Porinu, a quadruped w/ a red thing on its back
- Applefly, an apple with two big buggy eyes
- Burro, a blue donkey piñata
- Peeve, a worm-balloon. Note this one disappears once interacted with, so be sure to pet it first!
- Sully, a green pelican
- Parsnip, a tiny green smiling pile
The First Law
Defeat ROBOHEART.
Found in Humphrey, specifically in the final room of the “difficult” puzzle for the bomb in the robotic quadrant. You will need to return after clearing the robotic sector, but before progressing to the boss fight on Humphrey’s lower level. In Hikikomori route, you can access this fight additionally on Headspace Day 4 at the same location. This is a joke fight – no need for any strategizing.
R.I.P.
Read all the tombstones in the… dev room…
Once you reach [MAJOR SPOILERS!] Black Space, in one of the rooms that looks like a town (with roads and houses), go to the top of the screen and interact with all of the tombstones. One will warp you to the dev room – just read everything in it from there. This video shows where it is and what it looks like:
There’s something behind you…
Reach the other ending.
Achieving the ending that’s default for Hikikomori route, but can also be earned in a normal run. Just wait for your Hikikomori run if you plan on doing one of those, but if not here is what you must do differently on a normal run [MAJOR SPOILERS!]: when you wake up in Basil’s house on the third night, you normally go to check on Basil. Instead, you can opt to immediately go back to sleep in the same bed for an extra dark cutscene, and either way must leave Basil’s house and go to sleep in Sunny’s bed. After waking up the next morning, exit through the front door and leave in the car. Note that if you pick up Sunny’s knife in the normal route exclusive secret Recycultist dungeon on the final day, you will be locked out of the ending necessary for this achievement, so save before attempting that dungeon if you want to achieve both this ending and beating that dungeon on the same file.
Normal Route Exclusives, Part 1
In this section I will cover achievements exclusive to the game’s normal route. This means discussing the Real World segments of the game in some detail. If you choose to play the Hikikomori route for your first playthrough for some reason, be wary of spoilers in this section.
These will be in rough chronological order of when they’re acquirable. Also, unless noted otherwise, all these achievements are earned in the Real World.
Up high…
High-five KEL.
Down low…
High-five KEL three times.
Too slow!
Don’t high-five KEL.
These three achievements relate to high-fiving Kel. You get these prompts through normal completion of the normal route, and to get all three in one you need to save scum declining one high-five, reloading, and then giving it to him. The following are the times you can high-five him: the beginning of evening of Day 1 when you retrieve the Photo Album, the beginning of evening of Day 2 right after leaving Basil’s house and the morning of Day 3, right after you first leave Sunny’s house. The second high-five is the easiest to save scum since there’s a save spot inside the house you can use right before leaving.
NEEERRRDDDDD!!!
Lose to KIM and VANCE
This encounter is mandatory and nothing bad happens if you lose, so just throw the fight.
Against all odds…
Get a perfect score delivering PIZZA.
That can’t be good for business.
Quit in the middle of a part-time job.
Math Whiz
Complete the math worksheet correctly.
Grammar Whiz
Complete the grammar worksheet correctly.
It’s honest work.
Complete all part-time jobs once.
A number of achievements relating to the part-time jobs. They’re largely self-explanatory. You only need to nail one session of pizza delivery for the first achievement, and you can save scum the second achievement to still earn the money. Also, it seems you can only quit the pizza delivery job or the Fix-It stocking job for the second achievement. The tutoring jobs are available from the colored flyers found in the supermarket.
Good Company
Go to SEAN and KAREN’S housewarming party.
On Day 1, talk to the couple in Fix-It. They will invite you to their party on Day 3 (their house will be the one near the church with balloons); be sure to visit in the morning first on Day 3, then return in the evening for the actual party.
I’ll just take that…
Take $20 from KEL’S wardrobe.
When you can access Kel’s room, examine his wardrobe.
The Art of Self-Defense
Defeat the HOOLIGANS with PEPPER SPRAY.
When you get access to Kel’s house, check the purse on their kitchen table to acquire Pepper Spray. Then just use that when fighting these enemies for a quick and easy win. Note that if you intend to 100% the normal route’s achievements, you may want to save scum using the Pepper Spray on this fight so that you can save it for a secret boss later on.
Bees?
Battle the “bees”.
On Day 2 of the Real World, there will be a bee’s nest on a tree in the back of Faraway Park. Interact with it to battle three bees. They can pack a punch – be sure to bring some First-Aid Kits from the pharmacy. This becomes accessible after fetching groceries but becomes locked out once Hero joins the party, so deal with it ASAP.
Normal Route Exclusives, Part 2
The Very Best
Defeat the PET ROCK champion.
On Day 1, talk to the Hobbeez Shopkeep and buy a Pet Rock. Equip it on Sunny and explore the town, fighting anyone with a symbol above their head. These early enemies will have basic behavior patterns that you should be able to work out if you have any experience with rock-paper-scissors. Eventually return to Shopkeep and he will direct you to top competitors nearby (the Elite Four of rock-paper-scissors, if you will). After that, return to him and defeat him, and he will direct you to the champion, the Fish saleswoman, who you must then beat to earn the achievement. Be warned: it’s unfair at the higher levels, and the champion is just cruel. It took over two hours on first attempt to beat the Elite Four and champion. Not for the faint of heart. You could try spamming ‘paper’ against the champion – that strategy on my second run cut the time down to just 30 minutes. You can complete this achievement over multiple days.
Tummy Full of Fish
Feed the STRAY CAT every day and sunset.
Finding and feeding this Stray Cat (the orange tabby) twice a day is expensive – you need to buy six Fish from the supermarket in total. The following are the locations where you’ll find it:
- Day 1 morning: on the monkey bars in Faraway Park
- Day 1 evening: on top of Basil’s house
- Day 2 morning: on top of Sunny’s house
- Day 2 evening: in a tree in front of the supermarket
- Day 3 morning: in the gang’s old hideout spot in the Park
- Day 3 evening: next to a significant grave in the graveyard
You may be able to just feed the cat on evening of Day 3 for this achievement, though judging from this achievement’s requirement text this almost seems like an oversight. The Stray Cat is a good source of Trash and Seashells for other achievements so it’s recommended to feed it at each time anyway. Here’s a video of its locations each time period:
When she was here…
Give FLOWERS to MARI.
Buy flowers from the Fix-It store clerk. On Day 3, go to the Church and out the back door to the graveyard. Inspect the highlighted grave for a touching scene, and this achievement.
Reduce, reuse, and recycle!
Defeat THE RECYCLEPATH.
On Day 3 in the Real World, return to the old hangout spot where Basil fell into the pond to find an unexpected structure. This is an incredibly fun bonus area that you’re highly encouraged to seek out, as it’s the only place where the whole gang can put their skills to the test in the Real World! There may be triggers required to have this area spawn and if so they are not confirmed at this point, so to be safe you should do the Fashionable Mom’s sidequest on evening of Day 2 and interact with Recycultists when you see them. Some general strategies for this area include:
- Save the Pepper Spray you can acquire from Kel’s mom’s purse to use against the boss. It’ll drop their health by roughly 50% and will spare a lot of trouble.
- Buy a lot of First-Aid Kits before coming to this area. Grunts and the boss move faster than your party, so you can accumulate damage over time.
- BE CAREFUL WITH SAVING in this area. You won’t be able to leave and you will be locked out if you lose to the boss, rendering this achievement unwinnable! Save once before entering, and to another slot from inside.
- First-Aid Kits seem to work like Hero’s Fast Food in battle, in that they’re used first turn in battle.
- Do not use Juice for any of the grunt battles in this area. Juice is annoying to replenish in the Real World – you can do so just like the Dream World, by drinking items, but it takes many more drinks to heal and there are no full restoring picnics here. Save your strength for the final boss.
- To deal with the grunts: use Sunny’s Focus and Kel’s Encourage and Guard with others. Next turn Sunny one-shots them.
- The boss is tough. Equip the Seashell Necklace earned from giving three seashells to Cris on Sunny for extra HP and attack. Use First-Aid Kits liberally by the party members to ensure Sunny doesn’t die, as unlike Omori he has no comeback mechanic. Aim directly for the boss, not the grunts, as he will endlessly summon grunts to replace them. Using Focus/Kel’s Encourage remains a solid tactic. Really, the biggest obstacle just might be having enough First-Aid Kits. The easiest way to stockpile money for Day 3 is to donate your excess cash to the Hobo at the right of the Park on Days 1 and 2, as he will give you back double what you gave him on Day 3. Just give him $60, say, and by Day 3 that will net you 24 First-Aid Kits!
See a walkthrough of this area in a video here (boss spoiled in thumbnail):
Fun fact: you can switch party members in the Real World too! Didn’t even realize until this area forced you.
One more day…
Reach the good ending.
Close your eyes…
Reach the bad ending.
Two ending achievements exclusive to the normal route. The difference between the two boils down to the final choice in the game [MAJOR SPOILERS!]: during the final battle with Omori, chosing to continue after he defeats you will give you the good ending, while choosing not to will give the bad. Just save before the battle (it’s pretty clear when it’s coming) and retry after getting one ending. For dramatic purposes I’d suggest going for the bad one first…
Hikikomori Route Exclusives, Part 1
The following achievements are exclusive to the Hikikomori route. Since much of the normal/Hikikomori routes are similar in Headspace for the early and mid-game, most of these achievements relate to endgame accomplishments – so spoilers galore!
Like the other sections, I’ve organized this in roughly chronological order of possible acquisition. These can all only be completed on Day 4 in Headspace except for the first two.
Good Boy
Complete your TO-DO LIST.
The Real World segments in Hikikomori are left almost exclusively to completing chores. Just interact with the list in Sunny’s room each day for a minigame before going back to bed. This is mandatory for progression.
Minty Fresh
Brush your teeth every day.
This is not technically Hikikomori exclusive, but I found it easiest to do here. Every day in Real World, inspect the post-it note in the bathroom to brush your teeth. Doesn’t matter if it’s in the morning or evening. It must be done a total of four times.
I’ll cherish you all forever.
Get the FLOWER CROWN from Basil.
Speak to Basil from any picnic area on Day 4 of Headspace.
The Brightest Stars
Defeat PLUTO and THE EARTH
This optional boss can be fought in the tunnel between Capt. Spaceboy’s house and the Junkyard. They aren’t that hard for this point in the game. I usually prefer to take out The Earth since they keep messing with the party’s emotions. If you have difficulty with them you could try taking Pluto out first since they’re the more offensive of the two, and can spec the party out to be Sad since that’s what The Earth keeps turning the party.
Take Me to the River!
Let the plastic fish finish its song.
Go to Capt. Spaceboy’s house in Otherworld and speak to Pinkbeard. Take the item he drops and use it on the plastic fish in the igloo in the snowy area outside Otherworld Town.
Welcome Home
Take the KEEPER OF THE CASTLE’S power.
Go to the bottom-left hallway in Sweetheart Castle’s main foyer and interact with the curtain in the lower-right section of the next room to find a hallway that leads to the Keeper. Accept his offer. Note that this will permanently lock you out of Sweetheart’s Castle and all of its sidequests/collectibles/achievements, so best to save before and reload after seeing what this does.
See you, Space Husband…
Defeat SPACE EX-HUSBAND.
This optional boss is fought at the end of Snowglobe Mountain, a Hikikomori-exclusive area mandatory for that route’s completion. You can find it by completing the achievement “Take Me to the River!”. Be sure to either equip moves that makes the enemy feel Happy/Angry/Sad or come with multiple Sparklers/Presents/Poetry Books prepared, since the trick to defeating this enemy is listening to the memory they recount in battle and afflicting them with the appropriate emotion next turn – Angry if they remember the mace, for example. They’re invulnerable otherwise. This isn’t that bad if your party is near the level cap and you know what to do.
Repressed
Defeat every SOMETHING at the bottom of LOST LIBRARY.
Return to the section of Deeper Well before Humphrey with the teleporters. Where there were philosophical NPCs before there are now 3 sheets of Sheet Music scattered around. See the video below for their precise locations. Grab them and go back to the stage of Sweetheart’s Castle, where a crack in the floorboards now allows you to return to the Lost Library. Go in the door on the bottom-left and place the notes on the piano. You can now fight three optional Somethings for unique, powerful moves for Omori. They aren’t that hard.
To complete the following three achievements you will first need to speak with Mr. Jawsum.
Inhuman
Defeat MUTANTHEART.
Found in Humphrey, specifically in the the north room of the lower level. This boss is like a puzzle – they will name an emotion and will instakill any teammates who aren’t that emotion at the end of the turn. It’s useful to have a party member that moves last because the boss will sometimes alter a mood on their turn and will only instakill after everyone else has moved. Equipping Aubrey with the Sweetheart’s Bust earned from completing Pessi’s sidequest in Sprout Mole Village will ensure she goes last. Otherwise the boss doesn’t have a huge health pool and can be beaten pretty quickly.
Seriously, you’re the coolest!
Beat the BOSS RUSH.
To access this challenge, go up the left pipe from the bomb room in Humphrey’s robotic sector. You fight the following in order: Ye Olde Sprout, Download Window, Space Ex-Boyfriend, Giant Crawler, Sir Maximus I-III together, Sweetheart, Mr. Jawsum, Pluto (Upgraded), Slime Girls, Humphrey. Be sure to stock up on at least 25 of the mass Juice healing items nearby as well as that many emotion-altering items, both single-target and for the team. This isn’t too bad if you know what emotions to expect coming and manage to heal toward the end of each fight. The game also gives you a break between the Sir Maximuses and Sweetheart by including Life Jam Guy, who gives you some free Life Jam and turns to heal. You must beat it all in one go for the achievement.
Hikikomori Route Exclusives, Part 2
Minor Imperfection
Defeat PERFECTHEART
Found in Humphrey, specifically in the main lobby of the lower level. This is OMORI’s superboss, the final challenge, and should only really be sought out once you’ve finished everything else. You will seriously need to optimize your run from the very start to have a chance against her. I will list every strategy I can think of below – spoilers for the whole game down here.
First, you should get your party the permanent stat buffs each run offers:
- For Omori, in Deeper Well accept the Coral Tree’s offer to eat the apple.
- For Aubrey, find Berly’s Tetherball and complete her follow-up request (that grants the Butt Certificate); she’ll offer the buff at the start of Day 2.
- For Kel, go into the room that Pluto emerges from after beating him in Mr. Jawsum’s office.
- For Hero, after beating Mr. Jawsum and Pluto (Expanded) go into the bread door on the right side of 1F of the Last Resort and speak to the scarecrow; accept his offer.
Water Basil’s flowers north of his house before completing the Hangman phrase on Day 3, too, for some very slight HP buffs. You can also consume the Mush lying in front of the lone Rare Bear in Pyrefly Forest for a permabuff, as well as Mari’s Cookie earned from beating Boss Rush. Finally, as of 1.0.3 you can get slight buffs to your party’s Juice totaling +20 each if you do the interactables at each Club Sandwich. The four locations are:
- 1F of Last Resort, right side
- Otherworld, behind the moonwalking area
- Pyrefly Forest, behind the waterfall near the lone Rare Bear
- Orange Oasis, above the east exit to the Bread Graveyard
Second, get your party maxed out to Level 50. Dino Dig on Day 4 is the best place to go, to combine XP grinding with item farming.
Third, get the best equipment. You can find some incredibly powerful charms in Basil’s house after he’s rescued. The final charm that the Recycling Machine dispenses is a powerful all-stats buff. The party’s ultimate weapons are locked behind truly completing Hangman. You should know how to get every key except G/Y/Z from normal route (X is in Dino Dig’s third level); G is found while accessing Snowglobe Mountain for the first time, while Y is on the first snowy screen you emerge onto when exiting the igloo to Snowglobe Mountain (it’s there, just wander around looking long enough); and as for Z, go back to near the end of the Endless Highway to see a dude named the Hitchhiker waiting to take you to The Abyss, where Z will be just hanging out. Once they’re all collected The Abyss will open up, where you can fight your way down to an optional boss at the bottom named Abbi. Be sure to spare her after the fight and she will offer eight rewards in Headspace. To get them you must visit the eight orange tentacles in the overworld. They’re at the following places:
- One near the clam with the S Key on Endless Highway
- One to the left of Weeping Willow at the start of Pyrefly Forest
- One in Neighbor’s Room (right outside White Space)
- One near the right-side exit of Vast Forest’s docks
- One to the right of the first cave you exit while climbing Snowglobe Mountain, near an ice pond
- One to the left of Dino Dig
- One near the lower-right entrance to Cattail Field
- One in a dungeon-like area of Sweetheart’s Castle (note that this tentacle will be permanently locked off if you accept the Keeper’s offer, so don’t do that!)
Four of these tentacles will give powerful charms instead of weapons, though you’ll have to see if they’re better than the ones in Basil’s house. A video with the locations of the tentacles shown is attached at the bottom of this section.
Fourth, get the rarest moves. Completing the achievement “Repressed” (beating the three Somethings in the Lost Library) will net you three Omori-exclusive moves that each do heavy damage and significantly lower a different stat, either Attack/Defense/Speed. I haven’t tested them but lowering Perfectheart’s Speed is critical, so that one might be useful. Hero also gets Gator Aid (which buffs the party’s Defense) for commissioning all of Gator Guy’s statues, though honestly I’m not sure if it made much of a difference against Perfectheart. Still better to have to experiment with when the time comes. Hero’s Tenderize is also one of his best offensive moves as it lowers enemy Def; it can be learned by finding the Tenderizer on Snowglobe Mountain.
Fifth, stock up on the best items. This fight is why you’ve hopefully been collecting the Jam Packets from the secret areas the face-smasher in Orange Oasis has left around the world. If not, at the very least visit the room in Humphrey’s robotic sector where there’s a screen your party’s faces show up on. At the back of the stairs there’s a room that has Jam Packets and like 6 Spaghettis – totally worth it. There’s also Jam Packet spots near Weeping Willow in Pyrefly Forest, the traffic cone area in Otherworld, and Sweetheart’s gallery, and you get Jam Packets from inspecting the cakes in Sweetheart’s bedroom/the choir room/the room behind her kitchen too, and the bear pen beneath the hedge garden. As for healing items, you’ll want a lot of Whole Pizzas/Dino Clumps- at least 10. You can farm these from Dino Dig’s 2nd/3rd levels. Saving some of the best mass-Juice healing items like Strawberry Smoothies is good too, as well as farming Dino Smoothies from Dino Dig. Sno Cones are most useful for upping Aubrey/Kel’s speed, not so much healing since team-wide heals are best.
As for the fight itself – there’s two phases. First phase has Perfectheart do a ton of different powerful moves – including knocking a party member to 1HP, draining a party member of all their Juice, changing her/your party’s emotions to put your team at disadvantage, and powerful AoE heart/Juice damage. It’s just luck on your part if she picks the “knock down to 1HP” move multiple times in a row, since that won’t kill. One offensive strategy I liked is Tickle with Kel followed by Omori’s Red Hands for four powerful critical hits. Having a party member faster than her is key to be able to heal before she hits again – the last thing you want is to get stuck in a loop reviving, since that wipes out emotional advantage and drains resources. To get Kel faster you could equip him with the Chicken Ball, a weapon earned from defeating the Chicken? at the end of Dino Dig, which will dramatically increase his speed – though I managed it without that, so don’t worry if you lost out on the Chicken Ball. At a certain point before she dies she’ll fully heal and enter her second phase.
The second phase is simple, but brutal: every turn she hits a massive AoE attack that does ~360 damage, enough to basically one-shot your whole maxed-out party. Her AoE also randomizes party emotions, so don’t bother with emotions this phase. Having a member faster than her is mandatory to be able to heal everybody, since somebody will have to use a Whole Pizza/Dino Clump each turn. Keeping Hero alive with his ultimate weapon equipped is key, as with his weapon’s passive ability each Pizza/Clump will heal for as much as she hits for. Try to lower her speed/raise Aubrey’s speed to ensure you get two heals before she hits each turn, and really you can just keep Omori as the sole source of DPS with everyone else ensuring he lives and stays full of Juice. Having Omori as the only character using Juice also allows you to use single-character full-Juice-heal items, which are much easier to collect. Another strat I’ve heard works is to buy many Big Rubber Bands from the Boss Rush dispensary, then use them multiple times on her to lower her Defense enough that Omori’s Red Hands alone do 4,000 damage.
That’s it. Good luck – you’ll need it.
Non-Route Exclusive Completionist
The following are all achievements in the game based on groups of things – collecting them, defeating them, or interacting with them. I’ll break this down with non-route exclusives, in the second part the normal route exclusives, and in the third part the Hikikomori exclusives and the meta one.
Note that most of the traditional completionist objectives in OMORI are Hikikomori only, as is collecting all the Hangman keys (though there is no achievement for it) – so don’t fret about those on a normal run.
Bunny Exterminator
Defeat 100 BUNNIES.
Since Bunnies are common and varied enemies throughout the game, it’s probably best to put this one off until the end, then check in with the quest-giver in the Train Station in Vast Forest to see how many you need to defeat. He will still tell you how many you’ve beaten even after reaching the 50 that marks the end of his quest.
Squizzard Exterminator
Defeat 100 Squizzards.
Obviously the best place to do this is the Sea Cow farm on the Endless Highway. Good source of clams from the quest-giver inside the barn too, and a quick way to level up to the level cap at Level 50 if you’re looking to challenge endgame Hikikomori route content.
Recycling is a concept
Get all rewards from the RECYCLING MACHINE.
You must turn in 50 scrap total. Turning in all the scrap you earn from watermelons in the game isn’t enough to earn this, so you will need to grind for cans by having Kel dig for them at the start of Junkyard battles. You can run from and retry battles to most efficiently do this at a high enough level (probably an average of 20 or so is good). You get a good endgame-caliber charm for doing this, so it’s worth it in Hikikomori route. Note that you can get some high-level scrap from breaking the barrels in the construction site at Last Resort!
Mmm… SWEETHEART, I mean, TOFU.
Hold 99 Tofu.
Most easily done by buying them from vendors in Sweetheart’s Castle, including one in the underground area immediately preceding Sweetheart’s boss battle. You can buy them one at a time from the vendor in Sprout Mole Village, too, if you enjoy pain.
Patron of the Arts
Commission all of Rococo’s art.
Rococo has six paintings he needs funded. His costs are pretty expensive, so you’ll need around 100,000 clams to complete this. There are no other rewards for completing the paintings besides the achievement.
Normal Route Completionist
Music Connoisseur of Sorts
Insert every song into GINO’S JUKEBOX.
You can insert CDs you acquire into the jukebox in the pizzeria. There are 13 in total, which include the following:
- Five are sold at Hobbeez for $50 total.
- One is earned by beating the poster on the upper-right corner at Hobbeez.
- One is earned by completing a pizza delivery part-time job at Gino’s.
- One is earned from Shopkeep by beating him at Pet Rocks!.
- One can be found by completing the Leaky Pipe Guy’s questline on Day 3.
- One can be earned by fixing the arcade machine in Gino’s; do so by feeding the Stray Cat fish on the mornings and evenings of Days 1 and 2 to receive the necessary part.
- One is from the woman who pays for Trash in Faraway Park if you give her 25 pieces total.
- One can be earned by completing the musician’s sidequest: donate $30 to him, then on the morning of Day 3 find the Dad in his kitchen and deliver a lunchbox to the son. The son will give you a CD along with a letter to return to his Dad.
- One is earned by feeding the Stray Cat fish all six times over the three days. Search for the achievement “Tummy Full of Fish” in this guide for the Cat’s location at each time period.
Universally Loved
Receive all FLOWERS in the hospital.
Thia achievement relates to the good ending, so SPOILERS: during the good ending you wake in the hospital surrounded by flowers from all those who you’ve touched in the Real World. See a video guide attached to the bottom if you need help with locations. There are 16 flowers to receive total, including the following:
- From Kel/Hero/Aubrey and Aubrey’s gang (by default)
- Two from the parents of the tutored kids (On the morning of Day 1, pick up the two colored job posters in the upper-left of the supermarket and visit the noted houses, the first and third on the block to the east of Sunny’s. Approach the homes and complete the simple worksheets for cash. You can visit both houses on Day 2 and help the kids again with harder problems for no cash, though this shouldn’t be mandatory for receiving the flowers.)
- From Charlene’s family (On the morning of Day 1, speak to the Yellow Bun Granny waiting on her porch at the rightmost house on the tutored kids’ block. She will ask you to fetch her prescription – do so. I think that’s all.)
- From Mincy (You must motivate her to keep sketching. You can first find her in Faraway Park on the morning of Day 1. Then find her near the produce in the supermarket on evening of Day 1. Next, find her in the candy store on morning of Day 2. And then she’s in the garden section at the back of Fix-It on evening of Day 2. On the morning of Day 3 she’s in the church. Finally, on evening of Day 3 she’s on a bench in the Park.)
- From Cris’ family (On the morning of Day 1, you can first visit their house next to Kel’s, find the TV remote for Cris’ dad, and speak to Cris to begin giving her seashells. They’re at the following: back of Fix-It on Morning Day 1, from Jesse’s dad on evening of Day 1, at the back of the hangout spot on evening Day 2, in the hole the Leaky Pipe Guy leaves on Day 2, and as rewards given by feeding the Stray Cat on Day 2. You only need three. Also, return to their house on evening of Day 2 and again find the man’s remote, this time in the bathroom to the right of the toilet. Finally, find the remote again on Day 3 in the kitchen.)
- From Jesse/Jesse’s dad (On the evening of Day 1, speak to the man standing at the front of Hobbeez. Pick the M-rated game to give to his son as a gift. He will give you a seashell. Then go to his house nextdoor to Basil’s on evening of Day 2 and go to his son’s room.)
- From Kim/Vance’s mom (On the morning of Day 1, speak to the woman pacing outside her house between the two tutored kids’ homes. Fetch her Garden Shears that’re off to the left. Done!)
- From Kim/Vance’s dad (On morning of Day 1, speak to Gruff Guy in Fix-It and proceed to visit his house on the far left of the Church’s street. Continue visiting Fix-It and his house each day until his problem is resolved on Day 3. Be sure to grab the Seashell available on Day 2!)
- From Bebe’s family (On the evening of Day 2, talk to the Fashionable Mom standing outside the second house from the right on Basil’s block; then go talk to her son in Fix-It near the lamps.)
- From Sarah’s family (on the evening of Day 1, knock on the house to the left of Aubrey’s and save the man’s Wedding Ring from his sink. Then go to Gino’s on the evening of Day 2, speak to the woman standing in front of the counter, and answer Yes to her. Then go to the candy store, talk to Clumsy Guy, and select Caramel Apples. Finally, visit their house and witness their love.)
- From the Artist (You can enter the Artist’s house at the far end of Basil’s block as early as morning of Day 1, but it’s not necessary for her flowers. Talk with her on the morning of Day 1 or 2 and return her dog awaiting on another block. Then on the morning of Day 3 talk to her at home and go notify Angel at Hobbeez he’s wanted at home. Follow him back there and talk to her. Be sure to offer her some advice on art at least once as well; you can do so at most time periods, just talk to her while she’s painting.)
- From Shopkeep (Shopkeep has many activities associated with him, and it is uncertain which exactly guarantees the flower. You could buy the Pet Rock from him, bare minimum; further activities include beating his arcade highscore of 5,000; buying all CDs and capsule toys, costing $89 total; completing the Pet Rocks! sidequest. Will investigate and update.)
- From Sean and Karen (On the morning of Day 1, speak to the couple in Fix-It and select their wallpaper. Then on the morning of Day 3 visit their house in the morning to help cook, and return in the evening to enjoy the party!)
- From Daphne and Bowen (First, equip Sunny with his Pet Rock from Hobbeez. On the evening of Day 2, Mikha-er, THE MAVERICK will be standing outside his house on the end of Sunny’s block. Go inside, go to the bedroom on the right upstairs, inspect the odd figures, and solve their puzzle! The solution is they’re under Mikhael’s bed, though there’s some fun surprises in store if you look everywhere. You can accept their second challenge too, though it’s optional for the flower.)
You will know a questline is complete if you hear the discovery jingle at the end of an interaction.
For quick reference, the following are the triggers for transitioning between morning/evening/nighttime each day:
- Day 1 evening – entering the Church;
- Day 1 nighttime – going to dinner at Basil’s;
- Day 2 evening: investigating the upper-right area of the park that Basil was previously standing in, now empty;
- Day 2 nighttime: entering Kel’s house to deliver flowers to his mom;
- Day 3 evening: entering Sunny’s house to visit the treehouse;
- Day 3 nighttime: knocking on Basil’s bedroom door once he’s returned from the hospital.
Hikikomori Route/Meta Completionist
A Bit Less Lonely
Commission all of GATOR GUY’S statues.
Go to the Last Resort on Day 4 and speak to Mr. Jawsum. After that, go to the construction site on 4F and talk to the artist Gator Guy near the picnic. You can commission him – his statues will cost 18,000 clams in all. Leave the Last Resort for the Deep Well and return to give him time to sculpt each. Along with the achievement you learn the move Gator Aid for Hero, which buffs the party’s Defense, which is useful for bosses later in this route.
The view is pretty nice…
Look through all telescopes.
This is locked behind Hikikomori route due to the last telescope’s placement. Because this is Hikikomori exclusive, it does not include the telescope in the lighthouse. It also doesn’t include any of the fake telescopes. The following should be complete, though please comment if it isn’t:
- Otherworld, screen west of Cattail Field
- Deep Well, middle of Endless Highway
- Orange Oasis, northwest part of town on elevated platform
- Snowglobe Mountain, east of second cave entrance while climbing
We’ll always be there for you, OMORI.
Visit all mirrors.
This is Hikikomori exclusive due to the last mirror’s placement. Here is a complete list:
- The Playground, north of the mailbox
- Otherworld Town, northwest of save point
- Pinwheel Island, on the northeastern edge
- Pyrefly Forest, fourth screen, west of picnic
- Sprout Mole Village, bottom floor near treadmills
- Sweetheart’s Castle, room above kitchen (only Day 3 or later)
- Last Resort, 1F near the restrooms
- Deep Well, on highway east of the telescope
- Humphrey, robotic sector near puzzle teleporters
- Orange Oasis, north of orange pond
- Snowglobe Mountain, west of second cave entrance while climbing
Anytime is a good time for a picnic!
Recover at all of MARI’S picnics.
To earn this achievement, eat the health-restoring food that Mari provides at each save point. This is Hikikomori exclusive due to Snowglobe Mountain. Here is a complete list:
- The Playground, upper-left
- Vast Forest, between the flower patch and Basil’s house
- Otherworld Town, southeast of mirror
- Otherworld, snowy screen
- The Junkyard, south portion of room where Kel learns to throw
- The Junkyard, right before the Download Window battle
- Pinwheel Island, near the northern edge
- Pyrefly Forest, fourth screen, east of mirror
- Pyrefly Forest, southeast of Pluto Station
- Sprout Mole Village, near entrance ladder
- Sweetheart’s Castle, center of Dungeon basement
- Sweetheart’s Castle, room behind kitchen
- Sweetheart’s Castle, tea and crumpets in movie theater
- Sweetheart’s Castle, pickle jar near picnic basket immediately before her boss battle
- Lost Library, piano room (read all books to access)
- Last Resort, outside the building
- Last Resort, main elevator
- Last Resort, 4F construction site
- Deep Well, above the end of the highway
- Humphrey, robotic sector near puzzle teleporters
- Humphrey, slime sector above/before first Humphrey bridge
- Humphrey, biology sector past pink river
- Humphrey, lower level near elevator
- Orange Oasis, below orange pond
- Rain Town, north
- Breaven, before boss
- Snowglobe Mountain, near Pluto Station
- Snowglobe Mountain, before boss
Foes Filed!
Complete the FOE FACTS! journal.
Encounter almost every enemy in Headspace. This does not include any Somethings or other nightmare monsters, nor Life Jam Guy or the cat chimera that chases you in Humphrey. Due to space restrictions, I will list here easy-to-miss or limited-time encounters you should look out for, in order of their placement in Foe Facts. Everything else in Foe Facts is basic enemies or bosses that you’d add by fighting everything you come across normally. If you want a full list of Foe Facts, check out the video attached to the end of this section (note that it is slightly outdated as of OMORI v. 1.0.2 as it lacks the new entry for the worm-bots in Humphrey.)
- Forest Bunny? – one bunny in particular in Vast Forest. It’s by itself in the northeast of the Train Station screen, near a normal and a dark watermelon.
- Big Strong Tree – a tree in Vast Forest, on the map that leads to Train Station. It has insanely high defense and doesn’t attack. I would wait until lategame when Aubrey learns Power Smash and spam it with that.
- Dust Bunny – inspect the bookcase in the centaur’s house in Otherworld. You could also examine the bookcase in Basil’s house on Days 1 and 2, but not Day 3.
- Sprout Bunny – appears on second level of Dino Dig. Sometimes missed because its sprite rarely if ever shows up on the overworld.
- Sprout Mole? – similar to Forest Bunny?, though this one spawns inconsistently. Your best bet is to keep attacking the Sprout Mole on the screen in Pyrefly Forest where you get the matches, as that will have you fight Sprout Moles of some kind; there’s around a 1/3 chance that you’ll get to fight this one specifically.
- Ghost Bunny – in Pyrefly Forest, on the screen with the obstruction on the minecart track, sneak through a path in the trees on the lower-right. In the next area you must navigate to a tree stump with a Something waiting on it. From there, walk right to a dark watermelon. Then interact with the trees where Shadow Basil was standing to go to a Lost Woods-like area. Ghost Bunnies populate this area and are good for XP since they only damage Juice, not HP. Note that you cannot return to this area after collecting the H Key at the end, so fight them while you can!
- Horse Head/Horse Butt – only appears in front of Sweetheart’s statue in the hedge maze courtyard.
- Watermimic – interact with all the watermelons in Humphrey to not miss these mimics.
- In Breaven, sacrifice all of the objects hiding the code for unique enemies. Also go down the whirlpool in the sand in northeast Orange Oasis to encounter two more enemies – disobey the arrows on the paths to spawn them.
- Be sure to fight the two enemies exclusive to Snowglobe Mountain: Snow Piles and Snow Angels
- King Carnivore – in Sprout Mole Colony, do not cut the wire in the Mayor’s room. That will instakill this boss. Instead, climb to the lower level and defeat them. Kinda tough, may be wise to come back to after finishing Sweetheart’s Castle.
- Shady Mole – You can only encounter this boss by completing the sidequests finding Pessi’s thing in Sprout Mole Colony and trading Clams for Clems. After taking your clams he will run to his hideout in a cave in the back-alleys behind the Endless Highway. You can get there by going to the right from the first entrance to the back-alleys (before the first tollbooth). You can win your clams back by defeating him!
- Be sure to get the Hikikomori exclusive bosses, too (though Pluto + The Earth doesn’t have its own entry). Fortunately you only must start the Perfectheart fight for their entry, assuming they’re the last one you need…
It’s all a dream…
Unlock all achievements. Thank you for playing OMORI.
The almighty achievement. One Achievement to rule them all, One Achievement to find them, One Achievement to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them.
Notes
Thank you for reading this. I wanted this guide to help cut through a lot of the noise and conflicting information on how to achieve things. Hopefully this made your experience better.
With the finalization of basic instructions for all achievements and most foes, as well as the inclusion of some supplementary visual references, I consider v1.0 of this guide complete. I will still update this sporadically as new information about conditions for these achievements becomes known and as patches change things, and I will keep an eye on the comments.

If you have anything to contribute to this guide, especially the following:
- Regarding the picnics, the only thing left to determine is if you need to use all the foods that’re on the picnic mats with Mari or all the ones next to save points. If someone could test this by skipping at least one of the following entries from the guide and see if you still get the achievement, that’d be great: the one in Sprout Mole Village, the pickles in the corridor right before the Sweetheart fight, the Lost Library, the one on Humphrey’s lower level.
