Same problem happens to other user with Disney Pirates of Caribbean, and the solution is about audio devices. See the steps to solve.
Solving the problem
1. Right click on audio icon at windows taskbar and choose ‘playing devices’ ;
2. Disable all unused audio playing devices listed: click right button on device and ‘disable’ option;
3. Right click on the single audio playing device that remains and click ‘properties’;
4. Click on tab ‘Advanced’, set the audio quality to 16 bits, 44100Hz (CD Quality);
5. click OK and test the game.
