Maps (Vanilla and Undead Expansion)

Overview

A guide containing much enlightening infomation about specific maps ie portals numbers and locations.

The Old Mine

Above is a picture of the starting situation in the Old Mine. Note this is the smallest map and only has one entrance. shown below:

Below is the image on the skirmish map selection screen:

I ve seen it alot on the forums about the demi god krotoes appearing in skirmish maps. I would like to point out it was on this map i encountered him. Hes not your typical tank and spank boss and so if your wondering on how to defeat him ill add a section at the end of this guide to avoid spoiling it for those who dont want to know!
A side from that the map only has two main camps. In one the big city i encountered krotoes and in the other was the dwark king. Mobs spawned from these two locations.

The Dam

The Dam is the second smallest map with again only one entrance. Its intial layout is very similiar to the Old Mine( The smallest Map). Below is the initial starting position for The Dam.

Sevenhills or The First Town

ok so the Sevenhills has 2 entrances and one exit (portal). The entrance is guarded by multiple enemies. Screenshot below:

Poshlands

The Poshlands is difinitley an interesting map. The Alliance has a catapult and its leaders are spread out into 3 lanes that can only be accessed from one of the three portals in your dungeon. It is important to note that while advancing down one lane the other lanes cannot be accessed from that lane. The lanes vary in sizes. For example the far right portal is exstremly short walking distance to yuor throne room and the dwarf kings fort.

Wallstreet

Game Of Winter: Heroes’ tomb

Game Of Winter: Fields Of Elsa

How to defeat Krotoes?!?!?!?!

Its simple really kill all enemies around him and his shield will go down. Untill then his shield makes him immune to all damage and thus killing his allies should be of up most priority for his evilness. 🙂
