Overview
Something that appears to trouble new players, after learning to survive waves, is what to actually do during the waves. Dauntingly, there is a surprising amount of choice involved in Killing Floor: from what character to choose to which class to be. This guide will help new players understand what they should be doing as all classes – whether they are camping, kiting or strategically welding doors to force the longest route to the trader – once they have managed to stop dying.
All Classes
1. Choose a class.
2. Play as the class you chose.
3. Unless stated otherwise – headshots.
Zerk Master Class (steb steb steb)
Buy a sword, w+m1.
Rambo
Stalkers, the spider ones, clots and gorefasts.
Sharp Shooter
Anything with a ranged attack / whatever is biggest. Headshots.
Bring a xbow. Leave the small spam zeds to Rambo and Prodigy.
Prodigy
Spam.
Healer
The healer’s role is to heal.
Demo
“set input E i need sum muny”
Any zed is fine except skrakes. Spam explosives if a player is swarmed and dying.
Knock it off with the skrakes.
Shotgun Guy
Load a perk levelling map. Hold m1, enter Steam overlay and go watch the clouds for a while.
Shotgun Guy is always useful. The combat shotgun is a troll weapon, the nail gun is just bad.
Welders
Shotgun Guy has the best welder but all classes have one.
Be creative.
Congrats, now you can not only survive but also be useful.
