[link]How to unlock cloth physics
Assassin’s Creed® Syndicate doesn’t have a locked framerate (excluding the Vsync option), but it does have its cloth physics locked to 30 FPS! You can remove this limitation quite easily. Here’s how:
Edit AC.ini
1. Go to the configuration file location:
%USERPROFILE%DocumentsAssassin’s Creed SyndicateAC.ini
2. Open AC.ini.
3. Go to the [Options] section.
4. Change FlexibleMotionSimulationFPS=0 to FlexibleMotionSimulationFPS=1.
5. Save your changes.
Notes:
You may need to add the parameter manually if it does not exist.
Requires patch v1.31 or higher!
How to remove fog effect
Assassin’s Creed® Syndicate has a hidden graphics setting called fog. It can be found in the configuration file location of the game.
Whether or not the effect is desired is up to personal preference! Comparison can be seen here:
[FOG ON]
and also here:
[FOG OFF]
Here’s how you can change this setting:
Edit AC.ini
1. Go to the configuration file location:
%USERPROFILE%DocumentsAssassin’s Creed SyndicateAC.ini
2. Open AC.ini.
3. Change Fog=1 to Fog=0.
4. Save your changes.
Notes
You may need to add the parameter manually if it does not exist.
Requires patch v1.31 or higher!
The Result
Voilà! You can now enjoy playing Assassin’s Creed® Syndicate at a true high frame rate, now that the cloth physics are fully and properly unlocked and also eliminate those annoying FPS drops caused* by the damn fog.
*FPS drops may be more noticeable on lower-end computers!
