Overview
QOL – Quality of Life mods. TOP FIVEThis is a list I have compiled after research with other TMOD players, and after testing and using them myself in a playthrough. I have rated the mods, and will explain each one. This is the top five most used mods in TMOD.1. Magic Storage- Magic Storage adds something simple, but incredibly useful. Almost every modded terrarian player uses/should use this mod. For a simple recipe involving wood, iron/lead, and different gemstones, you can make a Magic Storage setup. With Magic Storage, you can easily dump all of your belongings into the Storage Heart, and if you need to craft something, all you have to do is search it up and it will show up for you to grab. You can also get a crafting interface with it- just put your anvil in, and you can craft as many tools as you can :)-To put it simply, its a life-saving chest/crafting grid.- Saves time-No more searching around in chests.-Saves space in your terrarian home.2. Vein Miner- If you watch modded terrarian series, you may have heard of this mod. You set up a key called ‘vein miner’ once you install the mod, and then if you go up to a chunk of gold ore and mine one piece, all of the connecting gold ore will mine itself for you.- Saves time- Easier playthrough3. Auto Trash- A common problem for terraria players is that they don’t have enough space in their inventory. Have too much dirt? Don’t need any gel? Are you a psychopath that doesn’t need broken-hero swords? This mod is for you.- Put one of whatever you don’t need in the Auto-Trash slot, and then whenever you pick up that item, it will be automatically sold to the Merchant, no matter where you are.- Essentially an auto-seller-Gives money, clears inventory4. Recipe Browser-Playing modded? Got a new item that you are clueless about? Hate using the guide? This is the mod for you. You can instantly search up any item and it will tell you its recipe. Do you have that item you know nothing about? Good! Just plop that into the browser slot, and then Recipe Browser will show you all the recipes and items you can make with that item. Also, it tells you what workbench/anvil you need for crafting.- Saves time-Good for guide-haters5. Boss Checklist- Are you playing a crazy mod like Calamity, which adds new bosses? Don’t know which ones to kill, and when? This checklist mod is for you. It displays two lists of bosses(in order), and where to fight it and what to use to spawn it in. The first list is for Pre-hardmode, and the second is Hardmode.- Saves time- No need to look it up on the wikiYou’re welcome, new players!
