Overview
A brief guide on route-specific locations.
The Abyss
The Abyss can only be accessed on Lyra’s route.
She will guide you there on day 19 as part of the main quest.
The Esperiza Peak
You’ll be able to climb the snowy peak of Mount Esperiza in Sunny and Celia’s route.
This automatically happens on day 18 for Sunny, and on day 19 for Celia.
The Rotting Woods – rope
The swamp-like area of the Rotting Woods features several holes in the ground. If you approach them, Vera will say that she needs a rope to climb down.
The rope will be available as part of the main quest in three routes:
- Reniel’s route, on day 20;
- Sunny’s route, on day 20;
- Celia’s route, on day 21;
You’ll find the rope on the ground close to the holes.
TIP! There are more holes than ropes. If you unlock shortcuts, you can take a rope back and use it further in.
The Royal Mines
You’ll visit the Royal Mines as part of the main quest in all routes except for Sunny’s.
There are three versions of this map:
- You’ll explore the mines in their entirety on Téa and Celia’s route, on day 19 for both.
- You’ll explore part of the mines on Lyra’s route, on day 20.
- You’ll explore part of the mines, without any enemies, on Reniel’s route—day 19.
BONUS – The Emerald Maze 3
The Emerald Maze is a sprawling forest filled with puzzles.
The second area of the Emerald Maze has two locations of interest—two solutions to the puzzle:
- Follow the path to riches ↓ → ↑ ← → to access Mannie’s hideout and the many treasures he stashed in there for you!
- Follow the path to a challenge ↓ → ↓ ↓ ← ↑ ↑ to access a lush pond guarded by a unicorn;
After you defeat the unicorn, you’ll be able to place a crystal by the pond.
When Mannie tells you that he opened the third stretch of the Emerald Maze, you’ll be able to access it from this area.
