Overview
In this guide, I will explain how to mod BMX PIPE and feature many helpful videos and links.
Disclaimer: All of the featured mods and videos aren’t mine. I am just the creator of this guide. I hope this guide will help a lot of you, especially the players new to BMX PIPE.
First step is to actually install BMX PIPE of course.
1. Go to BMX PIPE in your library.
2. Right click on the game.
3. Click on “Properties”.
4. Go to the “Local Files” tab.
5. Click “Browse Local Files”.
You have now located the BMX PIPE local files folder!!

You can also download modded maps from .
In the PipeWorks discord you can find a section called “Mod Sharing”. That’s where all of the mods are gonna be. When modding you will also need to check out the “Resources” section for programs.
1. Locate and download your chosen map.
2. Download the PIPE_Unpacker.zip.
2. Install WinRAR [www.win-rar.com] if you don’t have it yet.
3. Extract your downloaded map file and PIPE Unpacker.
The extracted folders should look like this:
4. Open the Pipe Unpacker folder and drag everything into the PIPE folder.
5. Run (double click) “Unpack and Backup.bat”. It might take a while, but when it’s done unpacking and backing up the files your PIPE folder will look like this and the 3 files you just imported will be deleted.
6. Open the PIPE_Data folder (PIPE > PIPE_Data).
7. Drag in the files from your downloaded map folder into the PIPE_Data folder and when it asks you to replace, click yes.
You’re done! You have now installed a modded map.
1. Locate and download your chosen custom bike.
2. Install WinRAR [www.win-rar.com] if you don’t have it yet.
3. Extract your downloaded bike file.
The extracted folders should look like this:
4. Open the PIPE local files folder and go to PIPE > PIPE_Data.
5. Drag in the “level5” file from your custom bike folder into PIPE_Data and when it asks do you want to replace click yes.
6. Go to PIPE > PIPE_Data > Resources and drag in the “unity default resources” file in there.
You’re done! You have now installed a custom bike.
