Overview

Give basic info on the main races of the Last Federation.

ACUTIANS


In game icon:
They are a race of robotic capitalists whos main focus is makin money. They will seize planets from other races if they feel that race is weak. Due to their greed they are considered one of more evil race in the solar system. In combat they are able to hold their ground in both space and on the ground. Invasions of Acutian planets can be difficult at times because everyone of their civilians can become a soldier in order to defend their planets. They don’t have a “goverment” so to say it’s more like the leaders of the top three leading industries.
Unique Buildings
Industrial Sabotage Launchpad: Every month, the Economy for every non-allied race drops by 1. Perpetually, unless the launchpad is destroyed.
Planetcrackers: They strap rockets to an uncolonized moon and launch it at the planet of their enemy. This is usefull for the player in two ways: One is if the player is going for an acutian only run. Two is when you have a fully formed federation and the last planet of your enemy, usually burlust or Thoraxian controled, won’t give under the full force of your federation. This is because when the acutians use a planetcracker all relations with other races takes a huge drop because of the shear overkill displayed.

ANDORS

The Andor are a race of robots that have created a utopia and are extremly pacifistic which means they refuse to invade or capture other planets. On the upside there will never be an exodus or pirates of this race. Their space forces are below average and their ground military is atrocious ranked barly above the peltians (Andor ground basepower starts 0.3 peltians is 0.1). But the Andors are always willing to help downtroden races. They are normaly a races that makes a good foundation for the federation as they will never attack others unless they have a relation of -2000 or less or if they are supporting the acutians war effort. When they are in an alliance whether it be the federation or otherwise they will spread love which causes any race with a relation of 0 or higher to gain influence with the andor and any race in the federation. Andor goverment consists of six ruling parties which all focus on things only related to their agenda. The player can only make deals with the ruling party but you can make speeches to promote or demote a certain party.
Unique Abilitys
As of now they have no ultimate building to use against other races.
Spread love when in Federation.
Send aid to other races.

BOARINES

In game icon:

The Boarines are a territorial and solitary race. They normal aren’t a major player in the federation due to their standoffish nature and resentment of outside help from other races which causes tension between them and the andors. Their standoffish nature leads to very thin populations. In combat their one above average in both space and ground combat. Each of their planets is run by a regent that focuses on the main problem of that planet. In order for the player to get the Boarines to focus on the federation the regent has to be focused on solar unity.
Unique Abilities
Encourage relations between other races to better or worsen their relations.
When in federation they spread defence to their allies.
Boarine Isolation Shield: Boarine ultimate defense system. And absolutely impenetrable, invisible shield encircles the entire planet, protecting the planet’s surface from all attacks — ground attacks, bombings, you name it. Does not protect Boarine space armadas, however, since they are outside the shield.

BURLUSTS

The Burlusts are a very volitile and warlike race. They are the second best fighters in the galaxy in both space and ground combat and paired with their rapid population growth they are very prone to early game invasions and easily form fear empires. Their constant bloodlust puts them under the evil side of the spectrum. Their goverment is very unstable as they are ruled by a prime warlord and two secondary warlord that are competing for power. if you wish for them to join the federation you have to duel their prime warlord and defeat him to have any chance for the burlusts to join the federation. The only way of making deals with these guys is with tleverage you gain by bribing, blackmailing, and duels. Due to their unstable goverment coups and civil wars are very common this leads to very poor public order and warlords change frequently as civil wars give the perfect chance to take the throne. Unique Abilities
Burlust Psyops Virus Development Center: Burlust ultimate weapon. Causes ALL races in the entire solar system to go absolutely crazy with bloodlust, and be locked in the Warlike stance until the virus center is destroyed. Being in a warlike stance doesn’t mean that a race will immediately be at war with everyone, but it does make conflict overwhelmingly likely and frequent.

EVUCKS

The Evucks are a studious and quiet race that are the most advanced beings in the solar system. They have the fastest research speed in the game that is roughly on par with the skylaxians. But on the down side they are amoral. This means they will use anymeans neccesarry to ensure their survival. They will unleash any type of disease on anybody, stealing any technology that isn’t nailed down, or in the event that they are about to lose their last planet ,and it happens to be a gas giant, they will blow it up in an attempt to take as many other races with them. The evucks act entirly on their own self intrest and resent help from outsiders which causes bad blood with the andors. Their military is mediocre but their high tech research allows them to hold their own and dominate late game. Their goverment is run by 7-member interplanetary body. Members of this body never change unless one of the members die which given their extremly long life time means that the only way you can change them is by assassinations. If you decide to make any deal with their goverment they will start to resent you and raise the cost of preforming an action, but their resentment will decrease as time from your last action increases. If you want to change a council members view and you don’t want them to die you can bribe them until they change their opion.

Evucks Psyops Broadcast Tower [race]: Causes the [race] to desecend into a state of perpetual internal wa, tearing themselves apart until the tower is destroyed.

PELTIANS

In game icon:

The peltians are communist barn owls that are ranked as the weakest race in the game with a ground strength of 0.01. This forces them to try and get on friendly terms with the other races. The peltians are considered good natured and can easily be persuaded to your cause. The peltians are able to form a special ferderation all in the name for saftey, this will ally the peltians, andors and skylaxians agaisnt the rest of the races, but if other races are liked by one of the factions they can be added into the saftey federation. The peltian goverment runs on LOCAL voting proxyies meaning every planet the peltians control wil award you their own proxies that are uselless on any other peltian planet. Gaining proxies is easy though as you only have to do something helpful for the peltians or bribe the spokesperson. 1 influence= 1 proxy. The Peltians are weak in military terms, and are absolutely massacred in a ground invasion of their planets. But on the offensive they use suicide pods to trade 1:1 with enemy soldiers regardless of the target, and have access to three unique techs that can give them up to 125 times the planetary bombardment strength of the other races.

Peltian Asteriod Perturber: Every 30 to 90 months an asteriod will change trajectory and fly at another races planet or outpost.

SKYLAXIANS

The skylaxians are your honor bound bill nye the science guys. They are the second most technological race in the game with a research speed on par with the evucks. They are one of the races that can form a federation with relative ease, because they are able to convince any race of anything. They generally get along well with others but will launch an opportunistic attack against races they don’t like. The Skylaxian goverment is a 40 member senate that are periodicaly-elected with non-partisan members that then vote their conscience. The amount of votes each problem gets impacts the type of deals the skylaxians will do and the cost of them. If you don’t like the senates results you can burst into the senate and demand a recount which can help change their views to your goals. Though they are honorablr they are still willing to accept “tribute” ,a.k.a bribes, and dispence them to the most worthy of the populace which gives you influence with the entire race. Military wise they are mediocre but with their tech research they can stand their own and normaly dominate late game. Their honor makes the skylaxians engage their enemies face to face on their planets and will not bomb enemys planets.

Skylaxian Cyberwarfare Facility: Emits an advanced self-replicating worm that causes all non-allied robotic races to descend into a state of perpetual internal war. The worm depends on the cyberwarfare facility for continual evolution, however, so if the facility is destroyed then the robots will recover.

THORAXIANS

The Thoraxians are this games representation of the zerg and the aliens from the movie Aliens. They are the nightmares of anyone who is trying to form a federation with all the races still alive. The Thoraxians are by far the strongest race in the galaxy and they known it very well. They invade weak races like the borines, andors, and peltians first so they can build up their armadas and population, then they attack when the remaining races suffer a natural disaster and conquer the planet. They continue this untl they own every planet or you are dead. The thoraxians are governed by queens that rule the drones on each of their planets. Each queen has a random mood determined by the condition of her planet. The mood will change at a pre-determined time or random intervals shown on the bottom of the goverment deals screen. Bribing a queen will delay the mood switch timer and gain you influence with the thoraxians. If you couldn’t guess they’re evil.

Thoraxian Search and Destroy Command Center: Every 30 to 90 months, launches a powerful thoraxian Hunter Fleet which seeks out and destroys pirate bases and then you, personally.
