This guide contains screenshots of every opening text in the game, useful for the few of you analyzing the game.
Episode 1 : The Man who Chose the Moon
“Young Girls Serial Kidnapping!?”
“Is the Culprit Left-Handed?” etc.
The camera pulls away, and the audience sees that the newspaper is actually on the ground.
The moon’s reflection in the water puddles is strangely ominous.
Back alley: steam rises from several manholes. Man’s footsteps (player).
A man’s shadow is projected on the wall.
From the other side of the alley a different man appears (Tokio)
Tokio is breathing heavily.
He slowly raises a gun (his right hand has fused/morphed into a pistol) at the man and begins firing.
Nevertheless, the man parries all incoming shots with his katana.
The man’s eyes glow in the dark.
Episode 2 : KILLER IS DEAD
Wake up… Mondo, wake up.
Open your eyes…slowly.
It’s time to get some work done.
We’ve got prey that needs hunting.
An incoming call from Bryan.
Mondo is in the middle of a rendezvous with a smokin’ hot lady.
Mondo! You listening to me?
Hey, gimme a sec, I’m in the middle of something.
It’s time.
Sorry, baby, I’ve got a job to do. But afterwards, we’ll pick up where we left off.
I can’t wait…
I know. I won’t be long, I promise. Then we can go to my place.
Episode 3 : A Woman of Pain
Space, extending to infinity and beyond.
The earth sits there, along in the dark.
This earth, however…is an eerie red glow to it.
Hold on the earth for 5 seconds.
Mondo is living his life inside the boat-house.
The mail-ship comes by and tosses today’s mail.
Plastered onto the round window, we can now see that it’s a “letter of appointment’.
“It starts today…?”
Mika, get up. Time to go.
Yawn. Huh!?
Episode 4 : The Man who Stole the Moon
The ones who suddenly appeared out of thin air took everything from me.
As proof that I still lived, they left my flesh–all that remains of me in this world.
We were once the rulers and magistrates of ages past
To cleanse this world would have been a simple task, but that was not what we wanted.
We loved this beautiful planet the way it was.
Gazing at the Earth from the moon was one of our few pastimes.
That is why we will never forgive the poachers who robbed us of that pleasure.
“It starts today…?”
I am a moon River…we live on the dark side of the moon.

Episode 5 : She who Eats Dreams
…Mondo…Mondo…
Mondo… Mondo… Mondo… Wake up!
Young Mondo wakes up.
After the character’s wake-up animation,
he will stop completely.
The young boy, the moon,
the sun,
and the earth disappear,
one after another.
Episode 6 : The Man who Stole her Ears
A day in the life of a musician
A day in the life of a musician
She wakes up and takes off her ear plugs
Suddenly, she hears all types of sounds
She controls the sounds as though she’s
a conductor and leaves only the beautiful
sounds of her music sheets.
Out in the garden, she transcribes the sounds of the river onto the music sheet.
She climbs up the tree and takes the sounds of clouds again putting them onto the music sheet.
Birds singing, sounds of grasshoppers moving, leaves jostling, her own heart?
all the sounds overwrap in harmony and a song is created.
When in the accoustic room,
her ears immediately start ringing badly,
All of the world’s movement stops, everything stops and the world turns into a complete blank.
Only her voice rings in her head.
Episode 7 : The Tiger that Faded into Darkness
The sight of Kyoto’s entertainment district,
covered in red lanterns at night was somehow beautifully enchanting.
The inn’s that do not allow first-time customers,
the temples and shrines…
It was as though time in this city had stopped.
A group of people, probably a crime syndicate,
swagger down a road framed by bamboo as if it were their own,
A white tiger runs across this road.
Sensing its presence, a gang member turns around,
but by then it was too late.
Without even the chance to scream,
the tiger’s claws sunk themselves into the member’s neck,
sending his head flying through the night sky.
Episode 8 : She who Dances in Dreams
Music “Moon River” is playing
Mondo lay sleeping in a strange pitch-black space — back when his left arm was still composed of flesh.
It is unclear whether he is dead or alive,
but he is on the brink of being consumed by darkness.
Nearby, there is an ominous red full moon,
which bewitches Mondo closer…
Episode 9 : The Giant who Stole a Planet
A man and woman are making love to each other/
A man and woman are making love to each other.
The couple’s arms are intertwined in a strange manner,
forming some sort of spherical matter. Eventually,
it becomes a solid rock,
and now placed between the man and womans’ stomach,
it it blessed with warmth — it is the earth?
The woman blows gently upon it,
causing the earth to spin,
the atmosphere to form,
and water and clouds to appear.
Once the earth is formed completely,
the two of them begin to kiss.
Episode 10 : The Carrier of Love
The locomotive–
it was once the pinnacle of mass public transit during the 20th century.
But today, this great invention has dwindled in numbers.
Polished to a gorgeous black shine,
the locomotive Tommy shows its impressive body.
Loved by the people, this little train called Tommy had travelled to points far east and west.
But 10 years ago, his duty came to an end and Tommy retired to a museum in Russia.
Episode 11 : She who Lives in Dreams
Mika’s Dream
The world is black-and-white.
Mika dozes off into a nap in the motorcycle.
At the bottom of the hill, a short distance away,
Bryan is trying to change the track’s direction.
A mysterious woman,
Dolly suddenly appears directly beside Mika.
Only Dolly is colored in this scene.
Mika. Bryian is the ennemy… Execute him.
Episode 12 : Chosen by the Moon
I’m going to execute David.
Mondo’s face appears.
Shadows are cast upon that face.
Shadows are cast upon the moon.
All movement except for Mondo’s has stopped,
and the shadows from beyond the office begin to turn into darkness. From the darkness, emerged David.
He sits across from Mondo.
David!!
Hey, Mondo.
Episode 51 : The Man who Stole Blood
A smug and dandy man is inviting a beautiful woman to dinner.
The man wins over the lady’s heart with expensive wine and fine jewelry.
He takes her for a spin down the coast in the hottest sports car and
steals a kiss when they stop at a viewpoint that monopolizes the night’s scenery.
But, that was when the man dug his canines into the nape of her neck.
Gyaaaaaaaaa!
The beauty screams.
Her body twitches and spasms, and eventually goes limp.
Then, suddenly, her eyes glow gold, and…
The Evil Sound Flows
(This screen never changes no matter the episode and is very hard to get a good screen)
The evil sound flows through the headphones and onto the countless antennae implanted in Victor’s brain. His white eyes open and he spasms violently.
Then, he jumps upwards to the ceiling, hiding himself in the shadow of the speakers.
In the shadow of the speaker, we can see his silhouette as he transforms into a grotesque form Mondo looks up.
(This is the clearest screen I got with the most words)
