The guide only shows how to get the “pure” ending through specific tactics, I’m not sure how to expand on different ways to get the ending, but this is just the way I found out two years ago. This guide may also be outdated, so try it at your own risk]

Not Tonight is a game where you play as a bouncer, clarifying documents and letting people party in various places. It is similar to the game Paper’s Please, so if you like these kinds of games, I recommend getting Not Tonight.

This guide will show how you can not be an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Yes you can be bad, though I am making this guide so that you can find out how to access the true ending of Not Tonight, yes there is multiple endings.

It also also very important to be kind & nice during the game, a lot of major characters play a role in the end of what will happen to YOU.

How do these character’s decide my outcome?
Let me tell you how this works, basically there are 4 chapters, You only play those chapters for one month, except for chapter 4, which takes place at the Albion First Winter Ball. If you are with the resistance, you will be given a VIP access ticket(Tracker) for the ball, and will have a journal filled out showing the identification of the bomber if you have satisfied the resistance.

The bomber will show up at the ball, and you will need to give him the VIP Access ticket and continue with whatever. During the ball there will be an explosion, and you will be blamed for it, as the “Bomb-Bouncer”.

There will be a court trial and the major character’s will be there. A judge says there’s no evidence so he will decide YOUR outcome on how good your character was during the game. That’s where the major character’s come in and say what you have done.

So just prepare for a Long Table Of Contents of how to be “Pure” To the Major characters in Not Tonight

Note: As I have been told, this guide is only for those who side with the resistance during the ending, though I am not certain.

King’s Head Dave

King’s Head Dave, or just Dave… Is the first ever character you work for as a bouncer, aswell as the funniest. You(The Main Character) and Dave maintain a friendship during the plot of Not Tonight. In the end of the story he is there along with the rest of the Major Character’s to judge you on your personality and see if you are a HOOLIGAN, or a Angel. He will either say that you are a negative person, or a GOOD EURO.

It is incredibly easy to get him on your positive side during Not Tonight. In Chapter 2, you are set 3 months in a loop working as a bouncer, Dave’s Bar has been nuked and he is reopening his bar to Save Viklav(We’ll talk about Viklav later). Dave has tragically lost his ring, and you being his hero have to retrieve it back.

At the beginning of Chapter 2 there is a Bouncr job at the Tiki’s Head(Day or Night, it doesn’t matter which you take). Dave hangs around there a lot, so you should investigate there, Detective [Insert Your Name Here]! First you must become the Head Bouncer in the Tiki’s Head either Day or Night shift, if you choose both individually between nights you won’t be able to complete this investigation! After becoming “Head Bouncer” You will have access to open a sewage pipe in the restaurant which is gross I know, but don’t ask questions. After opening the Sewage Pipe you will find a ring covered in sewage that you will obtain! Which is Dave’s Ring!

Well, during the shifts at the “King’s Head?” King’s Head Dave will come out during two nights to ask you about “Hey, just checking on yo- HAVE YOU SEEN MY RING ANYWHERE?*suddenly asks*”. During this time, the ground under him will form a Blue ring, Click ont hat ring and you will be able to SEXUALLY INTERACT with Dave, this will give you the chance to give him his ring from your Hand, To HIS HAND. WOOOAHHH YOU MASTERED PHYSICS! GOOD JOB DETECTIVE!
Here is the Manual for how to get Dave’s Trust, now with pictures:
Step 1: Become Head Doorman for the Tiki’s Head Day or Night Shift, doesn’t matter which. Then open a sewage grate the night after you became head doorman. You’ll find Dave’s Ring there.
Step 2: Work the shifts at the “King’s Head?”, and when Dave comes out to check on you, you’ll have the chance to give him his lost ring, it’s a mason ring even though he doesn’t work as a mason.
Here is the sign that you got him on your positive side during the non-bias “trial”

Mylarna

Mylarna is a woman, and your neighbor from Basingstoke, Southern England. She is also part of the Resistance! The people in a secret society trying to overthrow Albion First. During the plot, you and Mylarna become good friends(but Mylarna is really “good” friends with Dave (͠≖ ͜ʖ͠≖)) But let’s just get straight to the point of how to get on Mylarna’s positive side for the end of the game.

During Chapter 2, Viklav(Husband of Mylarna) is arrested because he was framed for being a bomber at the King’s Head (rest in peace). During Chapter 2 Mylarna asks for a lawyer, though she cannot afford one BUT… Right outta the blue Dave comes out as a hero and starts a fund to free Viklav from prison! If you become head bouncer in the “King’s Head? 2.0” you will be able to obtain a piggy bank in the King’s Head, once you obtain that, you PUT THE PIGGY BANK IN YOUR HAND TO MYLARNA’S HAND when Mylarna visits you every Sunday, so you will have some opportunities to give the Piggy bank to Mylarna. When you do, she thanks you, and says that she will thank Dave “personally” hehehehehe… You’ll be acting like this when you play the game through… hehehe…

Here is a Manual full of steps to get Mylarna on your side:
Step 1: Become Head Bouncer in the “King’s Head?” and obtain the Piggy Bank.
Step 2: Get the Piggy Bank from your hand onto Mylarna’s hand during a sunday she visits in Chapter 2.

Viklav

Viklav is the husband of Mylarna, who was a former Disco Danca!!!!
Let’s get straight into it

Basically to be able to get on Viklav’s Positive Side is easy, this will be done in the 1st Chapter.
During your first workdays in the game, you will be working in the original “King’s Head”, become head bouncer in the bar and then obtain a disco medal. Once you have this disco medal, you will be able to give it to someone, that someone is Viklav. On the 9th day of the month where it is the 2nd day you will work in the NEO Club (if you don’t skip work) You will see Viklav during the middle of your shift. Just give the medal to him yadadada that’s it.

Step 1: Become head bouncer in the “King’s Head” and obtain a disco medal


Step 2: On your 2nd Shift at the NEO Club, give the medal to Viklav during your shift.

Shannon

Now THIS annoying girl you will not like, she appears in all 3 chapters and annoys you for a looooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnggggggggg time. Now before we say how to get on her positive side, let me say this.
NEVER LET HER INTO A PLACE, NOT ANY PLACE YOU WORK AT! IF YOU DO, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET ON HER GOOD SIDE, AND I’LL EXPLAIN WHY!
This character basically has a love for music, she first appears at the King’s head, there you don’t give her entry, and never give her entry EVER. During each chapter there is always a job at a Festival.

Chapter 1 – The Cheese Chunes Festival (Reggae)
Chapter 2 – The Indie Chunes Festival
Chapter 3 – The Rock Festival

Each chapter she changes her love for music, and each time you work at one of these festivals, one you become a head bouncer there is a record. You give each one of these records to Shannon at each chapter when you can. If you get these records, you will get an achievement, and if you give these all to Shannon, you will get another achievement.

Here is a manual since I cannot fully explain this in paragraphs since it will take a long time to:
REMINDER: DO NOT GIVE SHANNON ENTRY TO ANY PLACE YOU WORK AT!

Step 1: Become Head Bouncer for the Cheese Chunes Festival, and claim the Reggae Record.

Step 2: Give the record to Shannon as soon as possible, and I mean AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

Step 1: Become Head Bouncer for the Indie Chunes Festival, and claim the Indie Record.

Step 2: Give the Indie Record to Goth Shannon as soon as possible.

Step 1: Become Head Bouncer for the Rock Fest, and claim the Rock Record.

Step 2: Give the Rock Record to Shannon during the Secret Resistance Bar Shifts at the end of the month.

This section may be pretty fast but I am NOT explaining the whole thing you have to go through in good detail, best to keep it simple in small words

Galahad

To be honest I am pretty sure that All you need to know about Galahad is that he is an Alien-voiced midget, and also he will be on your positive side if you side with the resistance… that’s all. This applies with Guinevere, but she doesn’t appear at the trial.

Also, If you get a pen from Jupp, give it to Galahad and Jupp will get a punishment 🙂

Lucille

During Chapter 1 while working at the Neo Club, Doug(the owner of the NEO club) sets up up with a “shonkytonk” saleswoman who gives you updates on the app, SHOPR!

In the middle of the chapter, Lucille randomly texts you:

Weird eh? Oh no Doug did something!

Basically, she talks about a dorseco wine bottle, which Doug has in the NEO club. When you become Head Bouncer, you will have access to obtain a Dorseco Wine Bottle from the Club, and when Lucille comes on the a wednesday, you will be able to give the Wine Bottle to her. With this, you get a reward, check the manual to see what it is.

Step 1: Become Head Bouncer at the NEO Club and obtain the Dorseco Wine Bottle.


Step 2: Get the Dorseco Wine Bottle F R O M Y O U R H A N D T O L U C I L L E ‘ S H A N D.

If you give Lucille the Dorseco Wine Bottle, She will give you this reward:

Tarquire F. Smyth

Tarquire F. Smyth is the son of Sebastion Futtock Smyth, who is the Minister of Expulsion. His character can be described as a… “Daddy’s Boy” You know, that kind of person. Not much people have been able to get on his positive side, but I will reveal how to get onto his positive side. The first time you see Tarquin is during the Indie Chunes Festival, basically the 1st shift you get. All you have to do, if he shows up “blue badge and white outfit who waits outside the line where VIP waits” Simply do not let him in, this is important for him to get on your side. If you let him in at all times he’ll consider you a “pleb”

After you reject him of entry, he will go to your flat the day after before you go to your shift. He then demands 10 CheeseR by Friday, if you do as he says, he will have you on his positive side. And in the newspaper, he get’s a drug overdose but somehow lives… Satisfaction!
Here’s the manual:
Step 1: Simply reject Tarquin F. Smyth entry at the day he comes to the Indie Chill Chunes Festival, he will then come to your flat and ask for 10 CheeseR’s.


Step 2: Give him 10 CheeseR’s by the end of the week(Friday) if you cannot accomplish this, you will not be on his positive side.

Yeah, he’s an meanie

Harrison Pace

Harrison Pace is a TV star of a show with a DogCat named Lassy. In the present, he now has Lassy(she’s dead btw) on a trolly behind him at all times. In order for you to be on Harrison Pace’s positive side is to let Harrison Pace into all places where he appears. (This would be in Chapter 3 btw) That would be the Gammon, the Angels, & the “King’s Head? 3.0”

If Harrison Pace appears at the Gammon & Angels during your shifts, let him in, but it’s a different story for the “King’s Head? 3.0”.

Here’s the other important thing you must do to get yourself onto Harrison Pace’s positive side. Become head doorman at the “King’s Head? 3.0”, and obtain a picture of Lassy. And give that picture to Harrison Pace when he comes to the “King’s Head? 3.0”
Since we covered that, here’s the manual.

Step 1: Let Harrison Pace into the Gammon & Angels during your shifts.


Step 2: Become Head Doorman at the “King’s Head? 3.0” & obtain the Lassy Picture.


Step 3: G E T T H E L A S S Y P I C T U R E F R O M Y O U R H A N D T O H A R R I S O N ‘ S H A N D ! ! !

Officer Jupp

Alright, this person is someone who’s positive side you don’t need. This guy is a real pain in the butt and worse than Tarquin. He doesn’t necessarily “help” you in the trial, he basically monitors what you have been doing great on, and what terrible stuff you done.
Here’s a list of things you need to do or not do in order to not get any negative comments from him:

• Maintain your Social Security during January, July, & October(I recommend keeping it above 80)
• Accept the London Wall Jobs at Chapter 3(Doing the Secret Resistance Bar is useless unless you need to give the Rock Record to Shannon, so this one is a go or a no-go)
• Pay rent, bills, & taxes
• Do not sell drugs
• Do not accept bribe money, the money you earn must be through gift’s or the owner’s transaction
• Wear Appropriate clothing
• Do not buy these ShopR items:
  -The Jarhed Equipment – S.W.A.T Uniform
  -The Rhino Head
  -The Evil Teddybear

Jupp basically monitors your actions, so be careful what you do during the game.
Also, no one likes Jupp.
