Game Interface

.

Allows you to keep up with the date !
Game starts on March 31, 1670 and ends on March 31, 1678 : regardless of your daughter’s birthday !

Here you can find some information like your name, your last earned title, your level ( depends on EXP ), your HP ( depends on Stamina ), your amount of GOLD ( earned through jobs or Errantry ) and your blood type ( which you choose at the beginning of the game, O being the strongest one ).

Here you have even more information ! Age, Height, Reputation and Weight.
Reputation can be earned in many different ways… succeeding in your job, winning competitions, earning titles through education, Errantry, ….
Height is random and then grows with your daughter everyday.
Weight will increase too fast if your daughter spends too much time resting and not working.

Information ! Again ! Here you can follow what’s happening. For example : how much damage did you take, when the end of the game is coming, when the harvest festival is the next day, how much did your earn with this week’s job…..

Here will be shown your equipment ! You can only equip one weapon, one helmet and one armor at the same time. When you buy equipment, you need to equip it or it will not appear here and you will not benefit from the stats.

Here you will choose what your daughter will do this month !
There are 3 “weeks” of 10 days each.
You can choose 1 activity per week.
Remember that your daughter will not work on Sundays (which explains why you have 10 days but not 10 Work Days [WD] )

INCM = Income
EXPNS = Expenses
WD = Work Days

Educate her :
Choose this to make your daughter learn some stats and earn some titles but careful ! It will cost you money.
Choose also this to send your daughter on an Errantry.
=> More info in the “Educate Her” and “Errantry” sections.

Let her work :
Choose this to make your daughter work. That way she will earn (and/or lose) some stats… and she will also earn money ! What kind of stat ? How much money ? It depends on the job.
=> More info in the “Let her work” section.

Let her rest :
If your daughter’s Stress gets too high, she will get sick and lose stats. To prevent that, you can let her rest for a week. It will decrease all your Stress through the week but careful ! Each decrease will cost you money and decrease Morale ! ( -4 Stress = $4 and -3 Morale )

Go on vacation :
You can also send your daughter on a vacation to decrease her Stress. It will cost $100 per week and increase Morale at the same time. ( Each day = -2 Stress and +2/3 Morale )

/! Know that you can also decrease your daughter’s Stress by buying her “Dolls” ( $150 ). It can be really interesting because using it does : -30 Stress and +10 Morale AND it means you don’t need to use a week slot to decrease her Stress. So for example : you can make her work all month and buy her this before choosing her new Schedule to reset her stress to 0.

Use this to go to the castle and talk to the King ! This will enable you to earn some Reputation.
=> More info in the “Castle Talk” section.

Use this to know what people think of your daughter. It’s not really useful, it’s more for your own curiosity.

This allows you to see your stats and do useful things like : equip your gear, use the items you’ve bought, Save and Load your game.
Change Outfit is believed to be useless, but please correct me if I’m wrong !

Stats :

Stamina = HP : ( increase your stamina to increase your HP ).
Strength/Weapon : How much damage you physically do.
Intelligence = MP : How much damage you do using Magic + How resistant you are against Magic + How powerful your protection and recovery spells are + How much spells you can use in one fight.
/! MP unlocks by passing the first Study Exam, it will stay at 0 otherwise.
CBT SKL : [Combat Skill] Helps with fighting in general. You can get some by leveling up and by increasing your DEX.
DEX : Helps you evade attacks. You can get some by leveling up but the most efficient way is to do the Hunter Job ( Available at Age 13 ).
Armor : Helps you receive less damage when hit.
EXP : Helps with fighting in general
=> Lv.1 0 EXP => Lv.2 60? EXP => Lv.3 120 EXP => Lv.4 200 EXP => Lv.5 300 EXP
=> Lv.6 420 EXP => Lv.7 560 EXP => Lv.8 720 EXP => Lv.9 900 EXP => Lv.10 1100 EXP ……

Spirit : Helps you do better in jobs.
Stress : Makes your daughter sick if too high ( you will lose stats everyday until she gets better ). How high you ask ? It depends on your Spirit and Stamina : The highest the Spirit and Stamina, the highest your Stress can go without making your daughter sick.
Morale : Needs to always be higher than 0 or your daughter will become a troublemaker and won’t be accepted in some jobs ( The only ones that will accept her are the Church and the Strange Bar/Inn ). You also won’t be able to talk to her between Schedules to win stats.
/! If her Morale is really low ( ~10 ) and her Stress high, and if you’re unlucky, she can also become a troublemaker that way.
Reputation : Only useful towards endings. Reputation can be earned in many different ways… succeeding in your job, winning competitions, earning titles through education, talking in the castle, Errantry, …. The only way to lose some is by making your daughter work in the strange bar/inn

Use this to talk to your daughter and earn some stats ! You can do it every month, before doing your Schedule.
=> More info in the “Talk to your daughter” section.

This is where you buy equipment and items. You can also sell useless equipment and items.
Don’t forget that you need to go in your inventory to equip the gear you’ve bought and use the items you’ve bought, it’s not automatic !

Talk with your daughter

Where to find it ?
On the main screen, under Schedule

Every month, you can have a conversation with your daughter. Depending on what you do and on some of your stats, it will have different effects ! Be careful, some are interesting, and others need to be avoided.
You won’t always earn the same amount of stat, it can be +1 or it can be +10, it’s all luck ! So I advise you to save before talking to your daughter, especially in the first years.
If your daughter is a troublemaker, any talk will have no result.

Preach is special. If you use it while Stress > Morale, then you have the possibility to choose between [Preach More] and [Scold]. If you choose [Scold] while Primary Stats* > Glamour, then you have the possibility to [Scold More Harshly].

Educate her

You can send your daughter to study some Stats and earn some Titles ( which means Reputation ) !
You can learn EXP ( through Military ), Intelligence ( through Study ) and Elegance ( through Etiquette )
Each course will cost you a certain amount of money per day and give you a certain amount of a stat per day.
Just like for jobs, if your daughter doesn’t do well a day, she will earn nothing ! ( but it will still cost you money ).

There are 3 levels ( A, B, S ) and you have to pass an exam each time to reach the next level.
Each exam demands a certain amount of a stat to be allowed to pass it. You also need to pay a fee and win a fight ( for Military) or answer two questions ( for Study ).
If you lose your fight or give the wrong answers, you will still lose your money and will have to try again next time. [ More details on exam requirements below ]
Each level costs a little more money but also grants more stats per day !

When you pass the S EXAM, you gain the last title but beware : you will graduate, therefore you won’t be able to attend the class anymore ! If you put the class in your schedule anyway, you will just talk to your teacher => Complete waste of time.

+5 Elegance

For some weird reason, Errantry is listed in “Educate her” even though it is more something of its own. So I made a section just for it, which you can find more below.

Let her work

Every week, you can send your daughter to do a job and bring some money while gaining some stats !
There are some jobs you can do from the beginning and others you will unlock at a certain age
You will only gain money and stats if you do a successful job
To have a greater chance of succeeding in your job, you need : High Stamina / High Spirit / Low Stress
Be careful, some jobs make you lose stats !

Errantry

Where to find it ? Schedule => Educate her => Errantry

A little lost ? Here’s a map[hyslyne.blogspot.fr]

You can send your daughter to live some adventures where she will find treasures and monsters.
You can take several weeks to have more time to explore. Indeed, you won’t come back home at the end of the week if there’s another Errantry scheduled just after, you will just stay where you are.

There are 3 “regions“, the farthest you go, the stronger the enemies will become. Those regions are : Outskirt, Border and Barbarian Land

If you want a greater chance of survival, you will need to increase stamina ( for a greater life bar ) and strength/intelligence ( depending on the way you fight, sword or magic ).
Also having a full stuff (Weapon, Helm, Armor), even a cheap one, helps a lot !
Also give your daughter a O blood type, it is the strongest one.

You can also talk to(Success depends on your Elegance)/hide from (Success depends on your DEX) your enemies and it will sometimes allow you to continue your errantry, but beware : that way you will NOT gain any experience or gold.

Sometimes your daughter gets scared and refuses to do anything, wasting a turn and putting her in danger, even if she’s super strong. Sadly it seems to be completely random or broken because even with all my stats maxed out, she would still regularly do it.

There is a day/night cycle and everytime you get in a fight, you will automatically go from day to night, or from night to day.

Everytime you survive a day, you gain 1 point of stamina and 1 point of reputation.

If you get defeated before your time’s up, your daughter will stay at home doing nothing during all the remaining days of the current week.

If you manage to reach the end of the map, your daughter will gain 50 Reputation !
Your daughter will rest during all the remaining days of the current week, giving you -10 stress per remaining day.

There are 5 chests you can collect on your way, but you can ignore the first one if you want as it only gives 1 Herb ( which is worth only 7 gold and not really useful ).
Those chests contain ( see map[hyslyne.blogspot.fr] ) :
[1] Herb…………. [2] Doll…………. [3] Book…………. [4] Tea Cup…………. [5] Dress

It takes about 15 days to collect all the chests and reach the end, so you should always schedule at least 2 weeks of Errantry.

Outskirt Map
Border Map
Barbarian Land (Part 1) Map
Barbarian Land (Part 2) Map

The Errantry map is not consistent. While making it I found out some things would change of size when going from a zone to another, or also sometimes overlap each other… Which is why I decided to make a map for each zone.
I also had to compress my images because they were too big for Steam, for a non compressed version, click here[hyslyne.blogspot.com].

Harvest Festival

When does it happen ? In October

.
You can choose between two competitions : Martial Art and Miss Kingdom.
The first one requires good fighting skills and the second one high Elegance and Glamour.
You can also choose to rest : BEWARE ! It will not make you skip the competitions ( so it’s not faster ) and it will not decrease your Stress.
If you win the competition, you gain Reputation !
If you lose, you gain nothing, you lose nothing ( except if you tried to bribe the judges in Miss Kingdom, then you’ve lost your money… )

Martial Art Competition

This competition is not really hard. Just increase your Stamina and EXP in priority.
Then up your Strength(Attack) OR Intelligence(Magic).
And if you have some money left, buy some armor and weapons.
Don’t forget that there is a bit of luck in here ! So save before going to the festival and if you fail just load and try again, you won’t necessarily have the same contestants.

Winning the two last fights gives you reputation !

1st place : 80 Reputation
2nd place : 60 Reputation

Winning Estimation

I won each time with these stats…. I’ve never used any equipment to make a better estimation. But don’t hesitate to buy some and to increase even more your stamina and EXP to be sure to win ! Starting Age 13, you’ll be able to work as a Hunter which gives DEX ( influences your Combat Skill and helps you evade attacks ).

/! If your daughter’s birthday is between March 31 and October 1 then you have to read Age 11 instead of 10, etc… /!

Age 10 :

Age 11 :

Age 12 : 265 HP, Lv.4, 320 Strength(Attack)

Age 13 : 275 HP, Lv.4, 400 Intelligence(Magic) OR 400 Strength(Attack) + 200 DEX

Age 14 : 300 HP, Lv.5, 400 Intelligence(Magic) OR 400 Strength(Attack) + 300 DEX

Age 15 : 450 HP, Lv.7, 400 Intelligence(Magic) OR 400 Strength(Attack) + 300 DEX

Age 16 : 500 HP, Lv.8, 400 Intelligence(Magic) OR 400 Strength(Attack) + 400 DEX

Age 17 : 550 HP, Lv.9, 400 Intelligence(Magic) OR 400 Strength(Attack) + 400 DEX

/! Again, this is just to give you an idea, stats change a little depending on your game and age /!

Miss Kingdom Contest

There are 4 prizes
Miss Sun : Which requires Elegance to win
In the game, it is represented by ” k
.
Miss Moon : Which requires Proportions to win, it has something to do with your daughter’s height and weight, the ideal result being 100% ( resting too much makes your daughter fat, make her work ! ) [ Usually, just bribing 10 judges is enough to win, so $100 ]
In the game, it is represented by ” p
.
Miss Star : Which requires Glamour to win
In the game, it is represented by ” i
.
Miss Kingdom : Which requires the highest score ! It’s an addition of your elegance’s, proportions’ and glamour’s scores.
In the game, it is represented by ” +

To win, there are different ways… you can just be the best, or bribe the judges ! Or do a bit of both.
You also need a bit of luck, since you won’t always see the same contestants ( which is why you should save before going to the harvest festival, and try again if you don’t have a satisfying result )
Bribing judges can be pretty expensive… $10 per judge

Winning a category gives you Reputation !

~~1 Prize : 10 Reputation
~~2 Prizes : 31 Reputation
~~3 Prizes : 91 Reputation
~~4 Prizes : 100-121+ Reputation
/! How much Reputation you gain depends on your stats and age, not just on how many Prizes you win. The higher your Glamour/Elegance are; and the closest your Proportions are to 100%, the higher your Reputation after the competition. But you still have to win at least one prize for this to count. /!

Winning estimation

This is more of an estimation than anything, because you don’t know in advance who will be the contestants. Miss Moon requires to be the closest to 100% Proportions but know that usually 10 bribes [$100] is enough to win. I will give the contestants’ highest stats I’ve seen to help you determine how much your daughter needs but you can ignore Glamour at the beginning if you want since it is not easy to get ( you can get some by buying [$1000] or finding in Errantry “dresses” [+25 Glamour each] or by scolding your daughter [see Talk with your daughter] )

/! If your daughter’s birthday is between March 31 and October 1 then you have to read Age 11 instead of 10, etc… /!

Age 10 : 100 Elegance, 129 Glamour

Age 11 : 149 Elegance, 159 Glamour

Age 12 : 295 Elegance, 248 Glamour

Age 13 : 350 Elegance, 273 Glamour

Age 14 : 448 Elegance, 304 Glamour

Age 15 : 454 Elegance, 354 Glamour

Age 16 : 535 Elegance, 414 Glamour

Age 17 : 563 Elegance, 425 Glamour

/! Again, this is just to give you an idea, stats change a little depending on your game and age /!

Advice

-Hold right click to speed the game a little
-Take O Blood Type ( the strongest one ) if you want your daughter to fight
-Give 31st March as your daughter’s birthday. The game will begin and end at this date regardless of your daughter’s birthday.
-Resting makes your daughter gain weight, so make her work ! You can use items to decrease her stress or send her on vacation.
-Use Dolls ( an item you can buy in the shop for $150 ) to decrease your daughter’s stress if you don’t know what to do with your money, saves a week’s slot and does -30 Stress and +10 Morale !
-To have better chances at succeeding in your jobs : High Stamina / High Spirit / Low Stress
-The easiest way to reach the Queen Ending is through Errantry
Save before going to the Harvest Festival. You won’t always get the same result, so if you lose just load your save and try again. ( same thing for Military exams )
-Keep your daughter’s Morale above 0 or she’ll become a troublemaker for several weeks ! ( Which means only the Church and Strange Bar/Inn will allow her to work for them, talking to daughter will do nothing but she can still do everything else ). This can also be triggered if your daughter has high Stress and low Morale ( ~less than 50-100 )
-To stop the “troublemaker” status, you need to wait several weeks + bring back her Morale above 0.
If her Morale stays at 0 even after several weeks, she will stay a troublemaker until she earns some Morale.
-Keep your stress low (how low depends on your Spirit and Stamina) or your daughter will become sick and you will lose 1 stat in everyting, everyday until your daughter gets better.

Don’t forget to rate the guide if you’ve liked it and leave a comment ! 😉
