Overview
New 60fps fix for STAR WARS™: The Force Unleashed™ Ultimate Sith Edition
How to…
Download the patch from:
[link]
and then uncompress its contents into the game directory with ‘swtfu.exe’ (usually “…SteamsteamappscommonStar Wars The Force Unleashed”).
Then start the SWTFU60fps.bat script from the patch to automatically patch the game exe.
Enjoy the game in glorious 60 fps!
⚠ One last thing: original game has a bug (?) when you grab objects with the force and they will lift slowly up… Using the 60fps patch this behaviour will be accelerated and objects will lift up even faster, but that’s an original game problem even at 30fps.
See last part of the guide: “Partial fix for the Force grip issue…” on how to alleviate this issue with SWTFU.

2GB+ patch
Disable any Compatibility Mode you may have set (Win7 compatibility, run as admin, etc.).
After the patch, to improve stability and potentially fix random crashes, with an hex editor like HxD modify at the offset/address:
0000011E: 03 -> 23
If you’re too noob to manually modify the SWTFU.exe, you can try with tool 4GB Patch: [link]
(This won’t fix all loading/fmv crashes but should reduce them drastically)
Partial fix for the Force grip issue…
It seems the hidden parameters -variableTimesteps -performanceThrottling have a benign effect on the well known Force grip issue where objects automatically start to lift up annoyingly, even much faster with the 60fps patch!
They don’t work as well as in SWTFU2 where they can apparently completely fix the problem, and in SWTFU it will correct the issue only on humanoids grab, but it’s better than nothing.
To apply this fix, use the 60fps patch above + put this modified DLL in the same dir to automatically inject the proper parameters at launch:

Don’t use Steam, Properties > Launch options since this won’t have any effect on the SWTFU.exe. Use this modified DLL and launch the game as usual from Steam instead.
Enjoy!
