What to do with the memory chip (from the shuttle pilot)?

Linked with the “Every little helps” achievement:
Extract the memory ship from the pilot.
After you resuscitate the damaged bot pilot in the shuttle, you will have the option to interact with him to remove his memory chip and to decide what to do with later. you’ll get the achievement right after removing it.

Once this memory chip in your possession, you will up to 4 possiblities to use it (to my knowledge), everything will depend on who you talk to first between Nick or Gregory:
– You can give it to Gregory, the nurse bot (if you talk to him before the meeting to prepare the mission concerning the hidden laboratory) when he will talk to you about the pilot of the crashed shuttle.
– You can give it to Nick, the wheelchair bot who asks to start the 3 servers. He will also talk about the pilot and we can give him … or not.
– If you didn’t give it to Nick or Gregory, at the meeting (to prepare the mission of the Lab for Humans people), it will be possible to say that we have it and to give them (Gregory or Nick asks why we did not give it before).
– Otherwise, if you decided to keep it for “you” (I did for my 2nd game), you can then use it at the end of episode 1, in the lab.
In the room after the 2 turrets where the large central computer (Central console) is located (.
Once arrived to this “big” computer, then you will have the opportunity to observe, interact, or connect the memory chip.

If you gave the memory chip before (or left the chip into the shuttle pilot), you can only observe and interact with the computer and then activate it.
The computer will be controlled by “IVI”, the name of the artificial intelligence lab that will tell you what to do next (manually restart the ventilation).

If you have kept the memory chip so far, you will have the possibility to connect it to the computer.
Then the computer will be activate, but this time “controlled” by the pilot (who will be happy to be “conscious” again… even in this form).
It will tell us what to do (manually restart the ventilation), it can also disable by itself the security system (turrets).
It will also show on the small screen (top left screen) the map of the lab.
Then he will open a “new” room next door (hatched in red on the picture below) where we can find out what the humans were doing there, the cause of the lab contamination and the reason for the rushed departure of the researchers/Humans from the lab. Room where we will discover also a “ball” in levitation for which we will have no information for the moment (but will seems clearly important for the continuation of the adventure: episode 2).
