this solution work for me, when i run the game it crash to the desktop.Bueno basicamente tenia el problema de que se crasheaba y el juego me tiraba al escritorio cuando lo queria cambiar.Esto pasa por que el tomb raider puede estar usando directx 10 u 11, la onda seria que utilizar dx9. Por eso hay que editar el registro.
