Overview of the different game modes
Training
Here you can replay the tutorial or go into the practice mode with any hero and play against all enemy types (Hive, Stompers etc…) good for trying out different combinations of skills, upgrades and trying out different heroes.
Heart of the Hives
A Hive will randomly spawn on the map every 3 or so minuets , your team must kill the hive and capture it’s heart (located where is died at) the first team to reach 3 captured hearts win.
Strategy –
Stick close to your team and dont go far off solo, you’re easy prey and at low levels will allow enemies to get the upper hand on you.
Killing the first Hive can be more tricky so it’s best maybe for the enemy to kill it (they will take quite a bit of damage in theory allowing you to quickly catch them off guard and mop them up)
PvE isn’t everything, if you go out across the map to kill creatures, don’t , kill creatures with your team when you are moving to the next area
Having a lower level doesn’t mean defeat, i have had plenty of games where i have beaten a team 1 or 2 levels higher than mine
know when to leave a fight, there is a 20 second respawn so if a fight happens without you, your team will 9/10 times get killed, know when to back out and heal up, it’s not all about kills
play with friends, all game modes are better with friends mostly for this one, i have created a group for crucible players

Alpha Hunters
The Br game mode, I have played this game mode the most out of any with a 4 win streak and over 30 games won.
Everyone knows how BR works
However what this game does differently is the alliance feature if you’re team mate is dead and an enemy’s team mate is dead you have the option to team up, this can be broken at any point but i have not had a betrayal yet, this bond will last until the final 3 where the alliance will be broken.
Like the other game modes, stick to your team mate like glue but also farm PvE creatures as i have lost games due to being lvl 1 fighting a lvl 3 due to a lack of PvE farming. If you let one team get all the kills they will win from levels alone.
I prefer not to spawn in the forest / swamp area as it’s harder to fight in that area at the start for me.
Extractors are good but not really needed, they don’t supply much and will get quickly taken out by the circle, if you’re away from other teams, do it , if not don’t you’re easy prey
Don’t forget to heal!!
Harvester Command
This is my least played game mode but by far the most chaotic (i have only 2 games played haha but tips similar to Heart of the Hives)
This game mode is pretty much domination, Capture the harvesters around the map (there are 5 always in same spots) first to reach 100 win simples 🙂
