Introduction

Welcome! You’re now part of a great online community of worldwide casino lovers. We love the game, and we think you will too. This is a simple guide, written with new players in mind, to help you gather your whereabouts and get you going on your journey.

Firstly, you’ll need to make sure that you’ve created an account with the Four Kings. The sign-up process is relatively simple and can be completed within a matter of minutes if you’re stealthy. Next, after your account has been created and is up and running, you are going to be asked to choose an avatar that you wish to base your character upon. Don’t worry, this selection isn’t final as you can always customise or reset your avatar when logging in, and also during gameplay!

Once you have created yourself a character – you’re pretty much ready to explore what’s on offer. You’ll be teleported to the main lobby, where you will be presented with the face of casino.
Here’s where the fun starts.

User Interface

When you’ve arrived in the main lobby, you will be presented with your main user interface. What you’ll see is a welcome message, mostly informing you of new updates and such, and two important icons on either side of the screen.

In the top right hand corner of the screen is the Task box icon. When clicked, your daily, weekly and monthly tasks are displayed in a checklist format. What’s great about the task box is that every time you complete a task, you earn chips. So, pay attention to this and remember to check it regulary in order to maximise your chip earnings. Earnings from completing tasks, are used around the casino in your games. So, the more you earn, the more you can bet, and the bigger your payout later.

Next, is the speech icon for in-game chat. This can be clicked and expanded in order to view chat history. There are different “rooms” you can enter, including (but not limited to): global, local, and table. Choose the room most appropriate at the time, for who is going to be reading your messages.

The Casino Lobby

Now that we’ve tackled the initial basic user interface, what’s next to discuss is the Casino Lobby. This is the so-called central hub, where players are initially spawned to upon logging in, and is also the gateway to the multitude of games that the casino has to offer.

Now that you’re fully functioning in the game, you can try walking around the lobby using the standard WASD control for movement, and standard mouse control for direction. Once you’ve had a little run around, you’ll start to notice that there are lots of games and stuff to keep you entertained. Here’s a short list of every game you’ll find within the lobby.

Games on the casino floor:

  • The Big 6 Wheel
  • Craps
  • Roulette
  • Big Daily Slot Machine
  • War
  • Other Slot Machines (888, Video Poker, Video Blackjack, Instant Keno

Here’s a list of the rooms which are directly accessed from the lobby:

  • Blackjack
  • Poker
  • Bingo
  • Events
  • Nightclub

Time Saver: If you’re lazy and can’t be bothered to walk round the casino yourself, you can press ESC whilst in game to bring up the menu. From here, go to the “map” heading and click on the game that you want to play. This will give you instant access (minus loading times) without walking, to all casino games and rooms. It’s really helpful when there’s a poker game being started and you want to be there quickly so you can grab a seat.

Your Own Space

When you enter the casino as a valued guest, the casino manager allocates you a complimentary hotel room for the duration of your stay at the casino (basically, permanently). Here you can relax, in your own space and time, away from the tables and the husstle. There are plenty of opportunities within the room to sit down and interact with hotel furniture. You can even sit on the provided toilet.

You can access your hotel room at any time, by going to any elevators located on the casino floor.

The Games

So, here it is, the main event. It’s what you came here for, and the reason why you bought the game in the first place.

In order to start playing any game, you must be in close proximity to the table or machine. Once you are close enough to a game, press E in order to start playing. Most table games, such as craps or roulette, will also display rules for the game if you press Q when near. This is particularly handy when you come across complex games, because the instruction manuals are really easy to follow and understand. It’s worth reading them to be honest, because it means you learn new games and it makes your casino experience that little bit broader and more varying.

However, if you’re a real Blackjack nut like me, you’ll probably just head straight to your favourite game and spend hours there crawling through the game’s tiers, and climbing up the leaderboards.

Speaking of tiers and leaderboards, when you win a round in a game, you get +RP. This is added to a total score for that game, and when you reach a certain score your tier for that game will increase. You earn rewards from advancing through the tiers and ranks, such as clothing items and accessories and of course, casino fame.

Wait, what… There’s a nightclub?

That’s right, you heard me. There’s a nightclub in the casino, it’s free entry – and there’s no horrible bouncers. Particularly useful if you’ve got lots of online friends who need somewhere to hangout, chat, and have a good time. Also, if you need a break from gaming, this is the place to let off some steam. As you can see from the images, I am a particularly popular player with lots of these so-called friends.

There’s a bar, a large dancefloor, and a heck of a lot of disco lights. If you want to dance, you can do that. Just click Z whilst stood up, then a menu should appear. Find the “dances” section to shuffle, or head bang, along to the music. Try your luck with the DJ booth too. You might just get away with convincing people that you can actually DJ.

Did someone say free donuts?

Chips, and Chip Stations

We mentioned earlier on in the guide, that the task tracker allowed you earn chips from completing set tasks sucessfully. Well, that’s not the only way you can aquire chips within the game.

These chip stations, demonstrated to the right and found dotted around the entire casino, allow you purchase additional chips using your own money to use throughout the casino. And, at this time, they also allow you to gift chips to other players, send VIP passes to friend, and upgrade your founder status. In addition, this is where you would collect your free 250 chips every 15 minutes – on the house.

Bare in mind you must be VIP first in order to send a VIP invitation.

Your Turn

Now that you’ve read this guide, you should now be able to enter the casino with a clearer idea of what is going on, and what you should come to expect from the game. If you get stuck, there are helpful hints which pop-up during gameplay, and if you press ESC and navigate through the menu there are a number of games guides and other such goodies readily available to you.

So, from now, if you continue to play games and log in everyday and be a great member of the community then you are well on the way to earning casino VIP status. In the VIP area, there are higher stakes, which means there is also more to be won. Only the most dedicated players can be found here – make sure you’re one of them.

What are you waiting for, go and spend some chips!
