Overview
This is a guide for Mistfallow -The Soul Thief. I’ll explain and cover almost everything in this guide.
Overview
A Mistfallow is a support roled dragon in which,it doesn’t exactly mean he’s a healer or tank. But it means he’s versatile and flexible when it comes to roles and combos. Some use him as an assassin.Others use it as fighters. The possibilities are endless.
Lore
The plane of Kethos knows no grater danger than the Mistfallow. Born of the Gray Mist, these ethereal monsters infests on the soul of the champions.
Kethos is home to the golden hall, a paradise where the fallen dragon lords from every century’s battle gather to feast on mead and recount their glories, but it is also the home of the Gray Mist, the swirling, turbid maelstrom that surround the floating isles of the hall and its surrounds. It is said that even the fallen may die again, if they venture past the hall’s protected shores, but is not the mist itself they fear – it is the mistfallow.
Barely perceptible to the narrow eye even at rest, the mistfallow are creatures of vapor and smoke, with a greedy hunger for the thing themselves lack: The power and vitality of an eternal soul. They are the perfect predators, able to fade in and out of the material world at will and capable of ripping bits of your soul from your body by their mere presence, but what they are not is long lived.
With no soul to sustain their form, it dissipates quickly, fading back to the mist from which they were born. It is only the power they gain from drinking the souls of the eternal that allows them to survive. To ride the Mistfallow is to accept the price of its existence as your own: for ride on the back of the very souls of your enemies.
Ability Overview
Soul Siphon is a wonderful ability when it comes to harrassment, survivability and sustainability. It uses a low amount of mana, making it perfect to be used at the background while your weapon deals all the damage. It acts as an ability that heals you in skirmishes or group fights.
Dissipate is an ability that makes Mistfallow stand out from the rest. It’s perfect when it comes to jumping into the fog of battle, take out a (few) target(s) with your abilities before jumping out to save your gold and xp.Or,it can be used when you’ve got enemies at your tail.Just do a fool jump to escape the close shave.

When it comes to weapons, this will draw you aback. Mistfallow’s mana is really, really good. So you can use almost any weapon to compliment it.

Skills Levelling
After levelling up, skill upgrades are also an essence to give you survivability or damage. It’s best recommended that you upgrade the spammable wepon ability or the utility weapon ability when you level up to level two. For an example- You unlock Lick of Flame, Mana Focus, Tidal Wave, Precise Arrrow etc based on the map. My upgrades goes like this-
Level -|Lvl 1|Lvl 2|Lvl 3|Lvl 4|Lvl 5|Lvl 6|Lvl 7|Lvl 8|Lvl 9|Lvl 10|Lvl 11|Lvl 12|Lvl 13|Lvl 14|lvl 15|

Strengths and Weaknesses
Here comes the fun part.
A Mistfallow is strong against-
Vulnerable dragons/weapons like-
Banshee
Ryujin
Spineback
Noxwing
Novastar
The Dark One
Chronosphere
Vengeance
Slow dragons like-
Dreadnaught
Bladeforge
Frostbane
Techniacally, these are easy prey because they have a lower chance on evading the burst damage a Mistfallow deals(with weapon) and also in fights. When they try to run off, they can be picked on by a Mistfallow.
A Mistfallow is weak against-
Dragons/Weapons with DoT or escape abilities like-
Spinereaver
Hellfire
Imperial
Arcfury
Phoenix Familiar
Truth’s Charge
Dragons/Weapons with abilities to summons stuff or cripple movement like-
Tanglewing
Bogwraith
Chillblade
Elder’s branch
Voidstar
Rimrock
And also dragons/weapons that can defelct damage dealt by the Mistfallow like-
Sphere of Wudeng
Gemtalon
They are harder to kill in a short moment so I’d suggest you keep a safe distcance before purging in to strike a kill when they’re vulnerable.
So,overall,a Mistfallow can easily take out enemies with no escape abilities and also high burst damage but can be in vain when he’s up against enemies with the above and also DoT to burn you after a skirmish. So yeah.Use Mistfallow as a scavenger and you can survive most fights while taking out enemies.Just watch your health out all the time.
Rune Selection
It depends on which Tier your Mistfallow is. Cooldown Runes are useful for whenyou want to shorten the cooldown for Dissipate or Damage Runes. (For if you decide to stay visible longer but deal more damage)
Tier 1- Mana steal runes to about level 5 and then Damage Runes
Tier 2- Again as the above
Tier 3- Damage runes for the first 5 levels before CD runes
Also,it depends on what Role and Weapon you use Mistfallow with. You can use-
Health steal if you wanna be tanky
Damage runes if you want kill successions
CD runes if you preffer sneaky covert ops
