Short Race Track Overview

Overview

This is a short description of the tracks, with a small overview map.

Introduction

This is only a small track overview. I think the maps are the interesting part. The description is more my way to drive. But when somebody knows my results, maybe it’s not the best idea of following my tipps 🙂 But maybe it’s working better for you then for me.

In this overview, I will not dexcribe, how to use shortcuts etc.

Have fun with this small overview.

Gravel

Basic Information:

Gravel is a classic dirt race track and has a surface mixed from gravel and sand.
Besides the track, there are large grass areas.
The track goes counter clockwise.

S/F = Start/Finish-Line
Hx = First camber. It’s very narrow, and at the start a real interesting part.
1 = This is the first corner. It goes left. Behind that corner, you have some space up the hill on the right side. But pe careful with the fence at the top.
2 = The second corner, it also goes left. Be carful with the inner side of the corner. There’s a small ditch. Also be carful what happens behind that corner. Sometimes there happens big crashes and the end of the corner is a little bit blind.
H1 = This is the next camber. Not really difficult to master, but try to end the camber going slighty right. Before entering the Corner 3 there’s a hill at the left side which could be dangerous if cars are on your right and pushing you against it.
3 = Corner No. 3. It goes 90° to the right. On the left the corner is limited by a large amount of tires.
4 = Corner No. 4 is some sort of a loose hairpin. It goes 180° left. The beginning of the corner is almost the end of corner 3, and not very difficult to master, because the speed is not that high. But the end of the corner is tricky, because you must stay in the middle of the track for the next bump.
H2 = If you comes out of the corner 4 perfect, you will have no problems to master this camber. Behind this camber, this is the part of the track with the highest speed except start/finish.
5 = Corner No. 5 is the last corner of the track and it goes left again. Be careful with your speed. Normally, you enter this corner with highspeed. That’s ok, but the end of the track has some concrete barriers on the right side and these can be dangerous for your race position. So, have an eye on the end of the corner and hurry up for the finish line.

Tarmac

Basic informations:

This track is a complete asphalt track.
Besides the track, there is grass and at the first corner also concrete.

S/F : The way into the first corner is not that long. So be careful.
1: The first corner is a 90° left corner. On the right side, there’s a small space with concrete surface to help you survive in the first corner if you get to fast into.
2: This is a right corner goint up the hill. At the end of the corner it will pass under a bridge. This place could be narrow, because there are colums at the left and right side, limiting this track. Directly behind passing the bridge the next corner will start, so be careful by steering the car from one to the other direction.
3: This is a very fast 180° corner.
4: At the end of corner 3 you’ll pass under another bridge with a slight change ot direction into right. It’s a very fast passage and because of that this corner (equal to the first pass of the bridge) could be quiet narrow. It goes down into corner 5.
5: This is a very fast and blind left corner. going into the hairpin. Hold your car on the track and prepare to brake/drift into the corner 6.
6: This is not really a hairpin, but it feels like one. I’s a 170° corner which is very strict limited on the left outside. In the middle of the corner at the center point, there’s a small concrete column. If you mastering this corner, you’ll have good chances to overtake some other drivers in that corner, or on the way to the next one and corner 8.
7: This corner is very fast and guides you directly into corner 8. Be carful, because this “straight” is a bow into corner 8. If you’re braking into corner 8 and you’re still steering, you can loose control.
8: This corner is tricky. It’s a 90° left corner. It has no space on the right side and also the end on the right is problematic, there’s a hill. Enter this corner with view on the end of the corner. If you manage this corner well, then hurry up to the next one.
9: The speed at the start of this 90° left corner is most of the time high. You should not go at the inner side into the corner, because at the end of the corner behind some bushes, there is a wall :). So stay in the middle and lower speed carefully to hit acceleration in the middle of the cornering and follow the straight up as fast as possible.

Sandpit

Basic information:

This track is a mix of asphalt (10%) and sandy (90%) surfaces.
The track has a lot of space besides the track and is not so strict limited as e.g. Tarmac, but it has some very tricky aspects. Sometimes, directly besides the track there are some real dangerous small bumps and sometimes it goes straight down some meters.

S/F: The straight into the first left corner is very short.
1: This is a long left corner. At the start here are always crashes. To enter this corner is easy. At the end there’re some bumps at the right side. So normally it’s the best way of keeping your car left.
2: This corner is not that difficult, but at the starting phase there’re cars everyewhere and that limits the overview. Normally it’s a slight right corner guiding you into corner 3 up the hill.
3: This corner goes up the hill and is a left corner. The entering is easy, the ending is not so easy, because it is limited on the right, by some advertisments.
4: Corner No. 4 is tricky, because you’re entering the corner on a sandy surface which is quiet slippery and ending on asphalt. So the behaviour of the car changes during the corner from “no grip” to “high grip”.
5: This corner goes slightly right and is very fast.
6: This corner goes slightly left and is also very fast
7: The corner 7 is very tricky. It’s a 90° right corner and goes from the top of the hill to the bottom. At the left side of the track you’ll find some concrete barriers. Keep away from them. The inner side of the corner is very dangerous, because you can simply go down the hill and get stuck in the middle of nowhere and will loose a lot of time. So simply stay in the middle and lower speed at the entry to accelerate when you’re looking down the hill.
8: This is a slight right corner
9: This is a 180° left corner. Because of the surface it should be easy to slide around the corner.
10: This is a very fast passage. You only have to take care of the machines standing directly at the track limits.
11: This corner is blind and thats the reason why it is tricky. Theres a small ditch at the left side of the track. So be carful entering the corner and also be careful with the concrete barriers waiting for the driver in the left and right limits of that corner.
X: This is the most dangerous part of the track. It goes right and down.
12: This is a 90° left corner. It’s limited by concrete barriers at the left on entry and on the right at the end of the corner. So be careful, because it’s narrow, and if you’re fighting with other drivers, it could be tricky.
