Overview
This Guide will help you step by step to unlock all achievement in this game.
Introduction and Gameplay Basic
LOKP is a rogue like dungeon defending game.
You play as a Master (for this prologue version only Slave Holder is allowed to play)
You will have to defend the dungeon for 29 weeks.
Week 1 – Defending Dungeon
Week 2 to 4 – Various random encounters that offer resource / monster / traps and their upgrades.
Week 5 – Defending Dungeon
etc. up to Week 29 – Defending Dungeon (Champion included)
After Week 29 or being defeated in any dungeon. You will be granted exp for Master, which will then allow you to unlock talent for Master before starting a new game.
Dungeon Defending
Every time the dungeon under attack, there will be 3 random heroes appear, Heroes ‘s level depends on which task you accept in the schedule menu, Veteran are more powerful than Adventures but yield a higher rewards upon defeat.
You can always hover the heroes to see their stats, ability and weakness, this is vital information for you to effectively achieve the last 2 achievements!
There will be a total of 6 rooms (7th room unlock on week 29).
For this case, they are
- Traps Room 1
- Monster Room 1
- Traps Room 2
- Spell Room
- Monster Room 2
- Throne Room
Please be noted that the room order are different for each Dungeon Defending, but the number of each room are fixed.
For Traps they are shared among both rooms, while Monster are stationed in Room 1 and Room 2 separately. You can always transfer monster from different room in the schedule menu.
Each room can hold up to a maximum of 6 monster, you can then assign up to 3 of them to take part in the defend.
Monster being station in either room are consider to be active monster, if they are defeated in battle. They will lost morale base on your game setting.
List of Achievements
There are a total of 6 achievements. Which can simply classify into 3 categories depend on their difficulties.
A) Natural Progression
You will unlock these achievement by simply playing the game.
1. Run for your life!
Make 3 heroes flee.
2. Who’s the Champion now!
Kill a Champion.
B) Slightly Challenging
You will need some luck to unlock these achievements.
3. A real monster!
Upgrade a monster to max level.
4. I’ve got the power!
Upgrade an Artefact to max level.
C) Extreme Challenging
You will need to “design” the scenario carefully and run multiple times to unlock these achievements.
5. Raining Blood!
Apply 20 stacks of “Bleeding” to a single hero.
6. It’s a trap!
Kill 3 heroes simultaneously with a trap.
1st and 2nd achievement – Unlock by Natural Progression
First two achievement involving scare 3 heroes away and killing a champion.
Heroes have 2 types of “Strength” that will be consider defeated upon reaching 0.
Health being represented in the Red bar, heroes defeated this way will yield 3 blood as reward.
Morale being the Purple bar, heroes defeated this way will yield 3 tears as reward.
1. Run for your life!
Make 3 heroes flee.
To unlock this achievement, try to use morale decreasing spell from monster and traps to defeat heroes. The master also have a spell that deal only morale damage, which is quite useful against heroes in early weeks.
You don’t need to defeat all 3 heroes in one single defend to unlock this achievement.
2. Who’s the Champion now!
Kill a Champion.
In week 29, you will have the option to fight a group of heroes with 1 champion. Just throw everything you have on them, as this is the last fight of the game.
3rd and 4th Achievement – Slightly Challenging
It is highly recommended to focus on one achievement per run.
After defending the dungeon, you will be offered different type of rewards. Including new traps, new monster, heroes stats or artifacts.
During the week that you don’t have to defend your dungeon, you will face different event types, certain event types has random option for you to choose from.
Certain Event
Trainer – Upgrade Monster with gold
Engineer – Upgrade Traps with gold
Tax Collector – Trade heroes’s blood or master health for gold
Black Market – Sell inactive monster for gold
Random Event
Merchant – Buy new monster or traps
Course – Randomly send 1 monster for training (+2 level | Gold payment required )
Business Trip – Randomly send monster for resources (1 Artifact Guarantee)
Plunder – Randomly send 3 monster to attack a location (New Monster / Gold / Traps Upgrade / Boost)
Siege – Randomly send traps to attack a location
Workout – Spend resource to boost Master stats
Event – Random encounters (Chance for Artifact)
3. A real monster!
Upgrade a monster to max level.
This is quite simple. Max level of any given monster is 4.
Step 1. Select one monster, weaker monster has lower upgrade cost.
Step 2. Reserve some gold coins, select Trainer 3 times (Select Course if it appears in early week).
Step 3. Upgrade the monster you wish to level up to max level. You may upgrade 1 level for 1 monster per each visit to Trainer.
4. I’ve got the power!
Upgrade an Artefact to max level.
This is a bit tricky. Max level of any given Artifact is 3. When you get the same artifact the second time, they will be upgraded automatically.
Issue: Artifact appear is random
Solution: Collect as much artifact as possible and see if you are lucky
Tips 1. Select all event that will reward artifact
Priority: Business Trip > Plunder > Event
Tips 2. Select hardest invader possible
Tips 3. Certain defended Dungeons will reward artifact.
Tips 4. Select artifact you already own.
Final Challenge
Glad you make it to here, only 1.6% and 0.6% of the player base obtain the remaining challenge.
Please make sure your master level is at least 10 before running for these 2 achievement.
These two achievement each require multiple attempt.
5. Raining Blood!
Apply 20 stacks of “Bleeding” to a single hero.
Bleeding is a powerful debuff, let X be stack of bleeding stacked
Heroes with this debuff will suffer (X times 5 damage ) at the begining of their turn and consume 1 stack.
Let say a heroes has 19 stack of Bleeding, he will suffer 95 damage. And if survive, start next turn with 18 stack.
Issue: Heroes hardly survive the damage from bleeding itself / attacks that induce bleeding
- Solution: Reduce Distance travel by heroes with bleeding to reduce damage over time
- Solution: Increase heroes health
- Solution: Reduce others damage source
- Solution: Reduce numbers of turns taken to inflict high stack of bleeding
Steps 1. Start game with at least level 10 Slave Holder and learn the respective talent
You may learn “Shield” as show in bottom left as well if you have spare talent point.
!!! DO NOT LEARN OTHERS TALENTS !!!
Steps 2.Select Strong Heroes(Right), Select Left for remaining 3 option in Game Mode
By selecting above setting you will have a vampire, a Skeleton Dog and a Orc in your team.
Assign all of them in room 2, assign a circular saw in the traps room in front of the 2nd monster room. (Or the trap room behind depend on the dungeon layout) Assign Bone Catapult as first trap.
Formation: Orc | Vampire | Dog
Steps 3. Depend on formation of heroes, do the following adjustment.
Heroes that cleanse all debuff
Send monster that has debuff AOE to first room
Heroes that heal after fight
Don’t send monster to first room at all, if they can also cleanse. Send those that has debuff AOE without damaging any heroes
Heroes that swap place of your monster
If they can heal or cleanse, send those that has debuff AOE without damaging any heroes
If not, change Room 2 Formation to : Vampire | Dog | Orc
Steps 4. Upon fight, avoid any ability that do damage until room 2.
Steps 5. Dog will act first, then vampire, finally orc.
Use Dog to bite the front target and apply bleeding
Use Left most attack of vampire to apply bleeding to the heroes in the middle
Use Orc to attack front and apply bleeding
Keep looping until your monster are all dead. They will now enter the throne room.
Use Enslavement from master which apply Bleeding to all heroes.
Steps 6. Keep trying until you succeed.
Tips. As early week heroes are too weak, you are more likely to succeed in later week.
Tips. Do not upgrade traps, offensive ability of Master (except Enslavement upgrade)
Tips. For monster, you may upgrade them to level 2 for them to better survive. Vampire can inflict Bleeding at level 2.
