All crate/barrel locations (Image heavy)

Overview

Noticed a few people getting stuck on finding all crates and since it’s impossible to tell which ones others have missed when trying to help them in the forums, I thought I’d simply compile a screenshot gallery pointing out the locations of all the hidden barrels/crates.Note: this does not include the treasure chests which require lock-picking.NOTE: I *think* I have completed this guide. (03/17/2015) If I’ve missed any crates/barrels on the screenshots, please let me know! 🙂

Starting out

First of all, you need to speak with the man in the Northwestern area of this map, named Castaway Beach, and he’ll teach you how to find crates and barrels on your own AFTER you find these 4 crates for him first.
A note worth mentioning is that sometimes crates/barrels will only appear on a map later or after you have completed some other task there, usually as simple as making the entire map visible first or by completing the current story-plot task.
