Pyre masteries

Overview

A guide including all masteries for all races in Pyre.

Nomads

Left:

Martial Training: Character gains 50% more stamina, letting them jump and sprint more often.
Critical Strike: When power-casting, Character’s Aura travels in a wider, longer line than usual.
Shoulder Smash: If Character jumps into airborne adversaries, they banish them.
Burning Resolve: After Character douses the adversary’s pyre, their pyre recovers equal to up to 50% of damage dealt.

Right:

Shared Tenacity: Character and their allies regenerate stamina twice as quickly as usual.
Moon Formation: While bearing the Orb, Character and their allies move with and pass the Orb more quickly.
Sacred Bond: Character and their allies may instantly return banished allies by moving to where they fell.
Divine Retribution: Character and their allies cause banished adversaries to remain banished for 2 sec. longer than usual.

Savages

Left:

Heightened Reflex: The brief charge-up time before Character jumps or sprints is virtually eliminated.
Traitor’s Flight: Character jumps and power-jumps farther than usual.
Webbed Feet: While sprinting, Character slows nearby adversaries.
False Step: If Character is banished while jumping, they shall instantly return at the origin of their jump.

Right:

Snap Cast: The brief charge-up time before Character can cast their Aura is greatly reduced.
Quick Fling: Character flings the Orb faster and farther than usual.
Sudden Grasp: When saluting their adversaries, Character automatically leaps towards the Orb, if no one has it.
Dark Vigor: While grasping the Orb, Character sprints and jumps without using stamina.

Demons

Left:

Long Stride: After using their rush to lunge forward, Character can rush again right away.
Crushing Heel: When landing from a jump, Character briefly stuns nearby adversaries, making them drop the Orb.
Brazen Manner: For 7 sec. after saluting their adversaries, Character deals an additional 10 damage to the adversary’s pyre.
Celestial Spike: Character can banish adversaries by flinging the Orb into them.

Right:

Relentless Vigor: After banishing an adversary, Character instantly recovers all their stamina.
Fierce Presence: Character permanently gains +4 presence, raising the size of their Aura.
Enduring Flame: At the start of a Rite, Character’s pyre automatically gains +35 health.
Greater Banishment: Any adversaries banished by Character take 30% longer than usual to return.

Curs

Left:

Cloud Jump: Character can jump a second time while airborne.
Lightning Run: When sprinting, Character accelerates faster than usual to an even faster top speed.
Lucky Break: After they are banished by an adversary, Character has a 50% chance to return in only 1 sec.
Moon Sault: Character can jump a second or third time while airborne.

Right:

Glory Dive: Character deals an additional 5 damage when plunging into the adversary’s pyre.
Keen Eye: Character casts their Aura +50% farther than usual.
Explosive Temper: When Character banishes adversaries by casting their Aura, the blast can banish nearby adversaries.
Guiding Light: After plunging into the adversary’s pyre, Character soon returns, rather than remaining banished.

Imps

Left:

Elusive Nature: While fluttering or zipping, Character moves much faster than usual.
Safe Return: After casting their implode ability, Character returns much faster than usual.
Titan’s Rage: Character’s implode ability can banish adversaries in a much wider area.
Inner Glory: Character deals an additional 10 damage when dousing the adversary’s pyre.

Right:

Moon Sign: if banished, character drops a moon sign allies can instantly transport to from their pyre.
Last Laugh: If banished, Character automatically casts their implode ability, if they do not possess the Orb.
Wild Heart: When saluting their adversaries, Character turns into a fast-moving howler, or back.
Star Sign: If banished, Character drops an improved moon sign that boosts allies’ speed and stamina.

Wyrms

Left:

Valiant Return: If Character and all their allies are banished, they shall instantly return.
Stunning Claim: Once per round, when saluting their adversaries, Character freezes ALL exiles for 3 sec.
Heroic Stand: While Character’s allies are banished, they move faster than usual and temporarily have ∞ stamina.
Siezed Chance: For 10 sec. after banishing an adversary, Character deals an additional 10 damage to the adversary’s pyre.

Right:

Avenging Aid: After Character banishes an adversary, one of their banished allies shall instantly return.
Quick Draw: After using their slash, Character can use it again to instantly return to their previous position.
Greater Cleave: Character’s slash banishes adversaries in a wider area of effect.
Vigorous Slash: After using their slash, Character instantly recovers all their stamina.

Harps

Left:

Swift Flight: While flying, Character moves faster than usual.
Shrike Dash: Character can use their dash ability in rapid succession, and for less stamina.
Sleight of Wing: After saluting their adversaries, Character instantly switches places with their nearest ally.
Greater Celerity: Character permanently gains +8 quickness, making them move much faster.

Right:

Winged Fury: For 5 sec. after banishing an adversary, Character moves 30% faster than usual.
Fell Swoop: While casting their Aura, Character can trigger an Aura-burst that banishes nearby adversaries.
Relentless Pursuit: If Character is banished while Winged Fury’s effect is active, they return twice as quickly as usual.
Natural Superiority: Character permanently gains +4 to quickness, presence, and hope, making them better all around.

Bog Dwellers

Left:

Hex of Defeat: While Character’s pyre has less health than the adversary’s, they deal an additional 5 damage.
Greater Blast: Character’s Aura blast arcs at a wide angle, banishing adversaries in a larger area.
Sudden Blast: The charge-up time before Character can use their Aura blast is greatly reduced.
Stubborn Flame: While Character’s pyre has less health than the adversary’s, their adversaries deal -10 to their pyre.

Right:

Hex of Victory: While Character’s pyre has more health than the adversary’s, they deal an additional 5 damage.
Vital Pounce: After Character pounces at an adversary, they instantly recover all their stamina.
Serpent Swiftness: While slithering, Character uses 50% less stamina and moves +30% more quickly.
Feral Curse: Once per Rite, after saluting adversaries, Character turns them into fast-moving howlers.

Saps

Left:

Guardian Sapling: If Character is banished, a Sapling shall automatically spawn near their pyre until they return.
Sturdy Sapling: After casting sprout, Character’s Sapling grows faster than usual, and gains a larger Aura.
Unstable Sapling: After casting sprout, Character may remotly detonate their Sapling in an Aura-burst.
Numbing Gust: While Character and their allies are banished, adversaries are slowed and cannot use abilities.

Right:

Final Kindling: Once per Rite, if Character’s adversaries extinguish their pyre, it is restored by 10 health instead.
Guardian Shield: While using their shield ability, Character shields their allies as well.
Steadfast Hope: Character permanently gains +5 hope, hastening how quickly they return from banishment.
Miracle Kindling: Once per Rite, if Character’s adversaries extinguish their pyre, it is restored by 40 health instead.
