Overview
If you want to limit Dead Space’s (or any other game’s) framerate without Riva Tuner, this guide is for you
Preface
Have you been trying to fix Dead Space’s framerate-caused bugs but don’t want to use Riva Tuner or other third-party software? In this guide I’ll show you how to limit frames in AMD Adrenaline.
NOTE: This guide is only applicable to AMD card users. Sorry, Nvidia owners.
With that out of the way, let’s get into it.
Guide
First, right click on your desktop and select “AMD Radeon Software”
Now, navigate to the “Gaming” page and click on “Dead Space”
Now that you’re here, find “Radeon Chill”
Turn it on and set min and max to 60fps
OPTIONAL: While we’re here (if your monitor supports it), I highly recommend enabling Enhanced Sync to reduce tearing
Now you can exit and launch your game.
Closing
This guide applies to basically every other game too. So if you’re having frame-related bugs, just do this with your desired game and hopefully it should resolve your issue,
ALSO, make sure vsync is turned off in-game, but I’m assuming you’ve already done that if you’re here instead of a bugfix tutorial.
Enjoy playing one of the greatest sci-fi games ever made!
