Hey all 🙂

After many guide updates over last months (include merging some sections) PRIORITY: Stats, Gems, Items, Runes section became abit outdated. Informations in that section was correct but alot stats was missing or some text wasn’t clear.

In today guide update (PRIORITY section update) :

  • I added all stats that are in current Build Versions.
  • Changed priority for few things.
  • Changed some text to make it more clear and easier to understand.

Thx for reading 🙂

Introduction and how Build works

Hello all.

At start i want say i am from Poland and English language isn’t my main language so i hope you will forgive me all grammar mistakes 🙂

I am huge fan of Path of Exile and most time since game release i spent on playing Cast on Crit builds.

What does it mean? Whenever you crit with your attack you cast a spell that damage your enemys.

In example you can use your melee movement skill to trigger spells with critical attacks ( cyclone + cospri malice + frost nova + frost bolt FTW <— PoE fans know what that mean 😉 ).

Idea of this build was created after testing other Thorn Templar builds from other guides.
I can say that from my tests it is already strongest Templar Thorn build that is known.

I added my own ideas to focus on spawning as many Tornados / Hellfires as possible after i found out they real potential. I did everything to min/max cooldown reduction/effect duration synergy to get full potential of this build. On top of that i decided it will be good to explain all stats, synergys and decisions behind some choosed options.

I tested alot options that aren’t in this guide. Sadly some things looks promising but don’t really work with this build.

I will like to see some suggestions about upgrading this build 🙂

After all my tests here you are reading my guide 🙂

Pros:

  • Great damage and area of effect: if you move fast between packs of monsters tornados and hellfires are on your whole screen
  • Great mobility: enchant on boots give nice movement speed bonus. Version with movement speed gems is even faster.
  • Good survival: high hp, shields based on max hp and maxed out block chance + damage blocked. In 1.0 there are more high hitting monsters but build have no problems with survival anyway still survival went down abit compared to 0.98 game version.
  • Great crafting materials and crowns farmer: hymn aura skill increase Pickup Radius by alot
  • Lazy build: can be played with just 1 button LOL
  • Defence is power for this build: damage based on hp 😀
  • Stats used by this build: Most stats focus on increasing Templar HP. That’s mean easy itemisation and no need to choose between damage or defence.
  • Infinite damage scaling: In 1.20.0 Vindicator shield got buff 🙂 Every Thorns Nova from Vindicator that hit enemy put debuff on enemy that increase that Nova damage by 3% 🙂

Cons:

  • Not HC friendly build. Any builds using Hearthstone even with many defence mechanics aren’t suggested for HC.

HOW BUILD WORKS

My templar build is based on creating with critical attacks as many Tornados and Hellfires as possible that deal Thorns damage on hit around them (AoE). That way it’s not typical Templar Thorns build because it focus on creating Tornados and Hellfires.

With 15% chance to create Tornado on crit and 1x 15% chance to create Hellfire on crit this build on bosses can easy create 20+ Tornados + some hellfires and on packs of monsters …. hard to count because screen is full of Tornados and Hellfires 😀

Tornados are better than Hellfire because they can move. When target is moving tornados follow it and if target is dead tornados move to next target. That’s why Tornados ( TWISTER ) enchant is choosed on weapon.

Tornados and Hellfires are created by:

  • Thunder Blades / Lightning Nova (depends on Build Version) and it Double Cast proc
  • Phantom Shield
  • Static Overload

Thunder Blades or Lightning Nova (depends on Build Version) – it’s great skill because you don’t need target enemys with it. Just stand in middle and cast Thunder Blades/Lightning Novas. Double cast can proc Hellfires / Tornados and all other effects. Gameplay is really relaxing.

Phantom Shield – Because Thunder Blades / Lightning Nova skill is Lightning skill all Phantom Shields procs are Lightning Damage based. All Phantom Shields proc Static Overload. Because of rune and Mastery Phantom Shield can pull far away monsters or bounce between player and boss 11 times. Phantom Shield is great overall skill that deals Thorns Damage, proc Static Overload and spawn alot Tornados/Hellfires.

Static Overload – Static Overload deal Thorns damage and can proc Twisters and Hellfires but it’s hard to see it on Dummy tests. The thing is that Area Radius for Static Overload is small and orb must exactly hit target – many times they move near target and it looks like they don’t proc anything. There is limit (30 orbs) for Static Overload. This limit delete far away orbs to create new Static Overload orbs and this is adventage for this build because all the time new orbs spawn so many of them hit your targets. Because all Static Overload orbs are all the time near Templar this build get 90% attack speed from Overloaded Mastery (3% increased attack speed per Static Overload orb).

Static Overload with Overloaded Mastery let Templar hit attack speed Breakpoint, That’s mean that with 30 Static Overload orbs (that can easy be achieved even on single targets) Templar attack with insane speed.

Magnetic Overload – There are so many Static Overload orbs that all the time enemys are pulled into one group and all Tornados hit whole group at one time instead attacking single monsters. It’s gameplay change (not damage change) but result is very fast clear speed.

Jeopary Ring – in 0.6 game version it was really Overpowered ring because there was no Cooldown on getting it stacks. Later it was nerfed to the ground. In 1.1 this ring was buffed again and it’s second best ring for this build after Ring of the Ethereal.

Since we can add this ring as rune here are the reasons why in 1.1 game version it’s so strong for this build:

  • This build have alot attack speed so it cast Thunder Blades/Lightning Nova and Phantom Shields very fast. Tornados and Hellfires proc ring too. All that’s mean this build have 95% of the time 100% Critical Strike Chance.
  • Only 5% of the time time this build have 5% Critical Strike Chance but this trade is worth that. This build doesn’t need any Critical Strike Chance on skills and items. Skill points that was used before on Critical Strike Chance now can be spent on other skills. All Critical Strike Chance stats on items and gems was changed into Survival/Damage stats. That’s mean that now this build do alot more damage than before and have abit more Survival.
  • Ring itself increase Critical Hit Damage by alot. It’s huge damage buff.

Fast farming – movement. This build doesn’t use any movement skills that’s why Haste Aura and Kill Haste enchant on boots are so important. They both increase movement speed by alot so this build can easy speed farm.

It’s great because normal walking instead Slice/Tackle/Charge don’t block you on walls and small rocks. In general gameplay is better.

Build Survival and Codexes

This build have 0 resistances but very high HP.

Every way of healing and all shields are based on % of max HP.

Even if monsters can hit alot on high Endless Anomalys it’s not a problem because healing / shields are based on % of max HP. To be fair Grace and Salvation should be more than enough for killing monsters. Anyway Codex of Healing Touch is used on bosses and can help when killing normal monsters.

SKILLS AND MASTERYS USED FOR HEALING / SHIELDS

  • Healing – Codex of Healing Touch

Codex cast Healing Touch V spell.

  • Shield – Grace

Keep in mind % chance in skill info include % bonus from Mastery.

Grace Mastery

  • Healing + Shield – Salvation

Salvation Mastery

Base Salvation is 5%.
Next 7% come from:

Skills:

Devotion 3/3 skill (+ 20% Effectiveness of all Aura skills).

Masterys:

  • Aura Affinity (25% Aura Effect)
  • Empowered Blessings (25% Aura Effect)
  • Strong Aura (20% Aura Effect)
  • Beacon of Hope ( Holy Auras increase Aura Effect by 10% for each active Aura )

Here is screen where that Masterys are in Mastery skill tree.

  • Masterys increasing Healing

Increased Healing from all sources

Again even if resistances are set to 0 because of high HP this build don’t have survival problems.

Difficulty setting ( lower resistances for player ) don’t affect max HP for this build. I say that because someone asked question about it. This question suprised me because i was never thinking about difficulty affecting max HP because of lower resistances on high difficulty. Now i see that higher difficulty don’t lower your current resistances but make lower starting point. In example starting point isn’t 0 resistances but let’s say -25% so your resistances on items aren’t affected so max HP is same on all difficultys.

SPELL CODEXES – INFORMATIONS AND RECIPE

There are 2 strong Codexes for this build. Choosing one depends on survival of your Templar (Mastery increase survival alot).

  • Codex of Healing Touch – for healing

  • Codex of Reprisal – for damage

How to make Codex

Transmutation recipe is very easy. You need Spell Codex and 50 x Spell Scrolls.

Spell Codex is rare drop from monsters.

Spell scrolls are easy to get. You can gamble for them at NPC.

Stats, Enchanting and Sockets

Great thing for this build is fact that it really focus on few stats 🙂

  • Health – one of main sources of HP, power of shields based on HP and Thorns damage
  • All resistances – one of main sources of HP, power of shields based on HP, Thorns damage and Holy Damage ( because all res gives shadow res )
  • Shadow resistance – source of HP, power of shields based on HP, Thorns damage and Holy Damage
  • Increased effect of all gems – gems are BIG part of this build for: max block, max hp, Thorns damage, Holy Damage etc. so increasing they power is very important.
    • Critical Hit Chance – for 100% crit cap. Greater rune made from Jeopardy ring makes Critical Strike Chance 100% that’s why there are no Critical Strike Chance stat on items and gems.
    • Critical Hit damage – increase damage of Thorns because they can crit
    • Attack Speed – more attacks means more Tornados and Hellfires.
    • Reach – increase size and Area of Effect for Spells
    • Damage vs crowned foes – damage vs elites ( monsters with Crown )
    • Effect Duration – for min/max synergy between cooldown reduction and effect duration
    • Cooldown reduction – for min/max synergy between cooldown reduction and effect duration
    • Frost resistance – increase HP and there was no better stat to choose for boots slot

    ENCHANTING AND ANCIENT ENCHANTING

Very important thing that i want say on start is that it’s waste of crafting materials to upgrade Tornados enchant (TWISTER) and Hellfire enchant. Proc rate on this enchants is always 15%. Upgrading this enchants increase damage of Tornados and Hellfires BUT in this build Tornados and Hellfires do Thorns damage so upgrading this enchant doesn’t increase damage of Thorns.

    Unlocking Enchants

If you lock enchant by mistake or want test other stats on items you can unlock enchants with transmutation recipe:

    Keys are common drop.

IMPORTANT ! It unlocks ALL stats on item so first lock again important stats before you replace stat you don’t like.If you don’t lock stats you want to keep you will reroll all stats on item.

    Important information how Enchanting works:

Important thing to know is what does mean Augment Increment. This line explain by what number enchant will increase after 1 enchant upgrade. In this example that’s mean that upgrading Enchant one time will decrease cost and cooldown of Slice/Charge/Tackle by 4%.

Every enchant can have different Augment Increment. Since Ancient Enchanting cost more than normal Enchanting it’s good to plan what items and stats should be maxed first to make it cost efficient.

Keep in mind Ancient Enchantress need Memory Essences from Endless Anomalys to upgrade your items.

Normal Enchanting should be easy to max so you should max most important stats in this order:

    • Critical Hit Chance ( till you don’t get Jeopardy ring ).
    • Block chance ( max it on shield and on gems )
    • Thorns ( it’s base stat on items this build use so just max it with enchanting )
    • All resistances
    • Shadow Resistance
    • Increased effect of all Gems
    • Cooldown reduction / Effect Duration
    • Health
    • Damage to Crowned Foes

    Ancient Enchanting:

I suppose that you will start Ancient Enchanting after you already have all items and runes that’s why it will include not only stats lines but runes too.

    • Health – because of Augment Increment – 25
    • Slicing rune – because of Augment Increment – 4 ( It’s Quality of Life upgrade )
    • Critical Hit Chance – most important stat for this build
    • Block Chance – important for survival and proc rate of Grace – easy to max – cost efficient
    • Blocked Damage – important for survival – easy to max – cost efficient
    • Hydraloop rune – strong rune easy to max – cost efficient
    • Kill explode – strong stat easy to max – cost efficient
    • Increased effect of all Gems – strong stat easy to max – cost efficient
    • Damage vs Crowned foes – strong stat easy to max – cost efficient
    • Lusombra’s Path – because of Augment Increment – 8
    • Vindicator – because of Augment Increment – 2
    • Heartstone rune – will take time to max it but it’s very strong rune
    • Elementium rune – will take time to max it but it’s very strong rune
    • Star of the Pure rune – will take time to max it but it’s very strong rune
    • Nemesis rune – will take time to max it but it’s very strong rune
    • All Resistances – strong stat easy to max – cost efficient
    • Shadow Resistance – strong stat easy to max – cost efficient
    • Critical Thorns rune – strong stat easy to max – cost efficient
    • Cooldown reduction – it’s Quality of Life upgrade
    • Effect Duration – it’s Quality of Life upgrade
    • Critical Hit Damage – medium stat
    • Thorns – weak stat easy to max
    • Frost Resistance – medium stat

    SOCKETS AND PRISMATIC SOCKETS

    Normal Sockets

You can very easy add sockets to your items or roll new sockets. Keep in mind that when you move mouse cursor game tells you what sockets combinations can be rolled on that item.

You can easy change gems by Destroying Gems:

    • If you want place different gems of same type: Cube / Sphere / Star
    • If you want put in item same gems but upgraded ones
    • If item have gems inside and you want to roll new sockets you need first Destroy gems

You can easy upgrade gems to later put them in item.

    Adding Prismatic sockets.

IMPORTANT ! Prismatic Sockets are permament and can’t be changed in current game version.

You can add 1 bonus socket to every item.

    To do that you need:
    1) 30 x Champions Crown

    2) One of Prismatic:

    Transmute item + 30 x Champions Crown + Prismatic Cube / Sphere / Star.

PRIORITY: Stats, Gems, Items, Runes.

Stats priority on items

  • Twister enchant on weapon – it Spawn Tornados (DON’T UPGRADE THIS ENCHANT just lock it on your weapon – increasing enchant damage DOESN’T affect Thorns damage dealt by Tornados so it’s waste of currency unless you want max it just for “fun”).

When you get Aspect of the Ethereal ring (it has Twister and Hellfire enchants on it) change Twister enchant on weapon into ENRAGE ENCHANT. Enrage is really strong because it increase BASE ATTACK SPEED so it’s different multiplier than Attack Speed stat.

  • Mana on hit – You need it because this build attack really fast.
  • Critical Hit Chance – To spawn Tornados and Hellfires on critical strikes (after you get Jeopardy Ring or use rune made from it change Critical Hit Chance into other stats that are on screens).
  • Reduced damage from all direct sources (chest) – Survival stat.
  • Reduced damage from indirect sources (helm) – Survival stat.
  • Block chance – Survival stat.
  • Damage Blocked – Survival stat.
  • All resistances – Survival (increase max Health) and damage stat.
  • Shadow Resistance – Survival (increase max Health) and damage stat.
  • Increased effect of all Gems – Survival and damage stat.
  • Cooldown reduction / Effect Duration – Cooldown and Effect Duration will give pretty same ending result. If you max out first cooldown reduction you will cast buffs more often but they will be shorter. If you max out first effect duration your buffs will last longer but they will be casted less often.
  • Health – This build get already alot Health from All resistance and Shadow Resistance stats so it’s better to max out Cooldown Reduction and Effect Durtion first to make gameplay better.
  • Chance to explode foes upon their death (ring) – Great stat for clear speed.
  • Chance to increase Movement Speed after killing a foe – Quality of life stat but it’s main source of fast movement speed for this build.
  • Damage to Crowned Foes – It’s powerfull enchant but this build need first 100% crit to make build work as intended and alot Health to easy survive high difficultys that’s why it’s not priority stat. Anyway if you will be lucky rerolling stats and get it save it because it’s great 🙂 Just it’s not most important stat at the start.
  • Thorns – most base Thorns come from other sources like Retaliator’s 2 set bonus or Nemesis rune so base Thorns stat is at bottom of this list. Anyway if you don’t have Retaliator’s set this stat will be more important for you.
  • Critical Hit Damage – It’s on bottom of the list because rune made with Jeopardy ring gives alot Critical Hit Damage.
  • Attack Speed – This build get alot Attack Speed from many other sources than Attack Speed stat on items. Max this stat last to hit max Attack Speed breakpoint.
  • Reduced damage from harmful ground effects – Survival stat.

Gems Priority

  • Critical Hit chance – for leveling. After you get Jeopardy Ring swap Critical Hit Chance gems into gems on screens (screens in Item sections).
  • Shadow Resistance
  • Extra Block Chance
  • Reach
  • Holy Damage
  • Effect Duration
  • Attack Speed
  • Increased Mana on hit

Both Attack Speed and Increased Mana on hit gems are last because they are needed to hit last breakpoints of Attack Speed and to keep mana with max Attack Speed.

Items priority in general

  • Aspect of the Ethereal
  • Shrank’s Vindicator
  • Hearthstone
  • Reckoning’s Instrument
  • Reckoning’s Cage
  • Reckoning’s Sight
  • Retaliator’s Striders
  • Retaliator’s Choker

Items Priority for new players that start the game.

Items Priority for new players that start the game is abit different than Items priority in general because it show what items are needed for this Build to make it work.

Most important items for this build to make it work are in order:

  • 3 set bonus from:
    Reckoning’s Instrument
    Reckoning’s Cage
    Reckoning’s Sight
  • Shrank’s Vindicator

This will be enough (with Twister enchant on weapon) to make this build work.

Next items that i suggest are: 2 set bonus from:

  • Retaliator’s Striders
  • Retaliator’s Choker

Since 2 other items are True Legendarys you can’t gamble for them at NPC so they are last on this list. They are great damage boost but not needed to make this build work and you can get them only from drops.

  • Aspect of the Ethereal
  • Hearthstone

Runes Priority

Hard to say what runes should be used first because they are random drops (some Lesser Runes) or they are made from Legendary or True Legendary items drops. Anyway if someone will have runes but no currency to put them on items here is list of most important runes in order:

  • Lesser Rune of Splitting Throws ( or Lesser Rune of Phantom Shield – depends on Build Version you choose) on Accessory
  • Elementium rune on Armor
  • Lusombra’s Path rune on Boots
  • Greatness rune on Weapon
  • Jeopardizing rune on Ring
  • Innate Probability rune on Helm
  • Talisman of spines rune on Amulet
  • Nemesis rune on Shield

Skills, Masterys and 1 button gameplay

Skills
To make best use of 1 button farm change settings.

Settings -> Loot Filters -> Radial Loot key toggles Auto-loot

You can set 1 button gameplay by changing options:

This build can be played with just 1 button. Since skills are used from right to left order when they are on same button i will explain them in same order.

  • Salvation – it’s Aura skill and is used in this build for it’s passive NOT active effect. That’s mean it need to be keybind to any button but NOT set to 1 button gameplay because it isn’t casted.

Here start 1 button gameplay:

  • Thorn Maiden – increase HP, Thorns damage and reduce by 25% base cooldown of Utility and Aura skills

  • Bolster – increase HP and Thorns damage

  • Haste Aura – Increase attack speed and movement speed.

  • Hymn Aura – increase Pickup Radius by alot – great for collecting materials, crystals and crowns.

  • Thunder Blades (Version 2.1) / Lightning Nova (Version 2.0) – skill used for attacking monsters.

SKILL TREES EXPLANATION

Vengeance skill tree

In my opinion Bolster is better than Reprisal. It still gives nice damage boost becaue it gives nice health boost. In same sytuation this skill increase survival and damage of the build. Reprisal gives more damage but no health bonus. Anyway both skills are in same skill button so you can try it out.

Thorn Maiden is fantastic skill for few reasons.

  • Increases max HP
  • Increase Thorns damage by alot
  • Lowers base cooldown of Utility and Aura skills. Must have for min/max cooldown reduction and effect duration.

Phantom Shield – Great skill to spawn Tornados/Hellfires and pull enemy groups that are far away from Templar.

Shield Dance – points needed to be spent somewhere to unlock Thorn Maiden. Anyway if you have some survival problems you can change Hymn Aura into Shield Dance for some bonus survival.

Wrath skill tree

Thunder Blades (Version 2.1) is best skill for this build:

  • Thunder Blade have bigger range than Lightning Nova so it’s easier to pull monsters into one big group and delete them with Tornados and Hellfires 🙂
  • Static Overload proc is based on Lightning Damage so it can proc Static Overload.
  • It doesn’t have Cooldown so it scale great with attack speed.

Lightning Nova (Version 2.0) is great skill too for this build:

  • Skill is great itself and It doesn’t need any bonusses like more projectiles etc.
  • Static Overload proc is based on Lightning Damage so it can proc Static Overload.
  • It doesn’t have Cooldown so it scale great with attack speed.

Haste Aura is great attack speed and movement buff:

  • Attack speed buff: Haste Aura let this build hit attack speed Breakpoint what means faster attack speed. Because Lightning Nova scale really well with attack speed it’s great to have this Aura.
  • Movement speed buff: Since this Version doesn’t use Tackle/Slice/Charge for movement it’s nice to have any bonus movement speed.
  • It’s Lightning Aura so Thundering Wrath Mastery make Magnetic Overload 100% chance to proc.
Conviction skill tree

Salvation is really amazing passive skill. It gives 50% chance to restore 10% Health on kill. Lingering Liberation Mastery gives nice shield based on Salvation skill. This skill gives great passive survivability. With this skill any ways of healing doesnt matter while clearing maps. It isn’t that usefull on most bosses but for bosses this build use Codex of Healing Touch.

Redemption skill tree

Devotion increase effectiveness of all Aura skills. Since this build use 4 Auras it’s nice bonus.

Hymn Aura is great aura for collecting materials. It is increasing Pickup Radius by alot.

To make best use of this skill change settings.

Settings -> Loot Filters -> Radial Loot key toggles Auto-loot

This way character is Tackling around and auto picking up loot from very long distance 🙂

MASTERYS AND MASTERYS PRIORITY

Keep in mind some Masterys can be set in few different places. If you set this kind of Mastery in wrong line just right click it and set different Mastery in that place. This way you will make previous Mastery “free” so it can be set in different line. Simple example is Imrpoved Thorns Mastery in Conviction Mastery line.

Main Mastery is Health

Diminishing returns: every 100 points you hit breakpoint where next point added gives less HP in example:

  • 1-100 = 10 Health each point
  • 101-200 = 9 Health each point
  • etc.

Even with this decrease investing into Health alone is best option with current gear. This is cool because in same time this build increase damage and survival.

Vengeance Mastery

  • Phantom Flurry: +30% chance to trigger Phantom Shield.
  • Phantom Beacon: Phantom shield can bounce between Templar and target if there is only 1 target. Great for bosses.
  • Heavy Shield: for Damage Blocked cap
  • Supporter: All auras increase element damage based on auras element
  • Aura Affinity: increase Auras effect by 25%

Wrath Mastery

  • Voltaic: +30% Chance to trigget Static Overload. This build use just one Lightning spell so this Mastery is very important for slowing enemys.
  • Static Cling: Static Overload slows all foest struck by 50%
  • Thundering Wrath: Lightning Auras increase the proc rate of Magnetic Overload (easier to gather enemys in one group if you use Haste aura instead Hymn).
  • Overloaded: For each active Static Overload Orb attack speed is increased by 3%. More attack speed means faster animation for casting buffs and other skills.

Conviction Mastery

  • Improved Thorns: +60% Thorns
  • Lingering Liberation: Salvation provides a protective barrier on the Templar equal to the amount healed. Stacks up to 30% max HP.

Redemption Mastery

  • Protective Beliefs: +30% Chance to trigger Grace
  • Holy Thorns: Thorns is now considered Holy damage.

SUGGESTION WHAT MASTERYS CHOOSE FIRST

In this screen you can see suggestion about most important Masterys and suggestion what Masterys you should get first.

Version 2.1 items – Strongest Version

Version 2.1 is strongest Version of this build. It use Thunder Blade spell with rune of Splitting Throws. Thunder Blade have bigger Range ( Area of Effect ) than Lightning Nova and combined with alot Reach it let’s to pull monsters from whole screen into 1 big group to destroy them all with Tornados and Hellfires. It got abit less damage than Version 2.0 but that big Range ( Area of Effect ) makes it strongest Version.

This build have 100% chance to proc:

  • Phantom Shield
  • Grace
  • Salvation
  • Static Overload
  • Magnetic Overload

This Version reach MAX ATTACK SPEED possible in the game – 5 frames.

Helmet

Reckoning’s Sight for 3 set piece bonus with Crown of Innate Probability rune

Gems – 1 x Effect Duration Gem 2 x Shadow Resistance gem

Rune – Crown of Innate Probability made from Helm Crown of Innate Probability – this rune increase proc chance for alot passive skills and skills like Phantom Shield, Grace, Salvation, Static Overload and Magnetic Overload. It doesn’t work with Tornados (TWISTER) and Hellfires but still it’s very strong.

Accessory

Hearthstone with Phantom Shield rune.

Gems – 1 x Holy damage and 1x Extra Block chance – i suggest put block chance gems in transmuted slot because it’s mandatory gem here. This way you can change Holy gem whenever you want for something else like bonus experience that need different gem slot.

Rune – Lesser Rune of Splitting Throws. This rune let throw 5 Thunder Blades instead just 1. Great rune for this build.

Amulet

Retaliator’s Choker (for 2 set bonus) with Talisman of Spines rune.

Gems – 3 x Holy Damage – build use block chance gems for cap in other slots

Rune – Talisman of Spines rune made from True Legendary Talisman of Spines. It’s huge damage buff becaue this build use 4 Auras and 1 Ultimate skill.

Shield

Vindicator with Nemesis shield rune.

Vindicator is important because it increase Thorns damage dealt by 500% and it makes Thorns do damage in radius. In 1.20.0 it got buff : “Each hit of the nova increases the damage of this effect by 3% to the foe hit, stacking infinitely” so this let this build to have Infinite Damage scaling.

Rune – Nemesis rune made from Nemesis shield increase Thorns based on our HP so it’s great.

Gems – 2 x Reach gems

Rune – Nemesis rune made from Nemesis shield. Great Thorns damage increase based on HP.

Armor

Reckoning’s Cage with Elementium rune

Reckoning’s Chest for 3 set piece bonus with Elementium rune.

Gems – 4 x Shadow Resistance gem

Rune: Elementium rune made from Elementium Armor. All resistances are increased by 60% of highest resistance. Since this build stack shadow resistance for increased Holy damage ( rune on boots ) it increase in same time HP and Thorns damage because of Hearthstone rune.

Weapon

Enrage ( base attack speed increase on crit ) is very important because it’s different Attack Speed buff than Attack Speed stat. That’s mean that first is increased base attack speed of skill and than it’s increased even more by Attack Speed stat.

Reckoning’s Instrument for 3 set piece bonus with Lesser rune of Greatness.

Gems: 1 x Increased Mana on hit gem and 2x Reach gems

Rune: Lesser rune of Greatness. Since i wanted add rune made from True Legendary Jeopardy ring i needed increase somewhere max limit of Greater Runes.

Boots

Kill Haste enchant is very important. Since this build doesn’t have movement skills this stat is great for fast farming.

Retaliato’s Striders (for 2 set bonus) with Lesumbra’s rune

Gems: 2 x Shadow Resistance

Rune: Lusombra’s rune from Lusombra’s Path boots. Shadow resistance is added to Holy Damage. This rune is reason why shadow resistance is choosed to stack instead other resistances.

Ring

Aspect of the Ethereal with rune made from Jeopardy Ring.

This ring is really strong for this build because it have tornado and hellfire proc stats. With alot Attack Speed we don’t need Tornado enchant on Weapon.

Gems – 2x Extra Block chance – for max block chance.

Rune – Jeopardizing rune made from Jeopardy ring. It’s very strong rune for this build. This rune gives 100% Critical Strike Chance.

I explained full potential of this rune very well in How build works section.

Version 2.0 items

Information: before 26.03.2021 guide update this Version name was Version 2.1 . Because there wasn’t much difference between previous Version 2.0 and stronger Version 2.1 i deleted previous Version 2.0 from guide (to make guide clean) and changed name of this Version 2.1 into Version 2.0.

Rune – Lesser rune of Phantom Shield. It increase max number of bounces for Phantom Shield. Phantom Shield spawns Tornados so it’s great for packs of monsters and bosses too because Phantom Shield bounce between player and 1 target if one Mastery is picked up. Since Phantom Shield have now 100% proc chance this rune become very strong choice for damage.

Nemesis rune made from Nemesis shield increase Thorns based on our HP so it’s great.

Gems: 1 x Increased Mana on hit gem and 2x Critical Hit Damage gems

Version MF – items and MF informations

This is Version MF guide section.

FOR STATS AND SOME OTHER INFORMATIONS VISIT OTHER SECTIONS OF THIS GUIDE.

Magic Find % explanation

This build Version have 575% Magic Find on character.

To this 575% later will be added Magic Find % from difficulty bonus in example:

  • Mythic 1 have 110% bonus Magic FInd so total Magic Find will be 575% + 110% = 685% Magic Find
  • Mythic 15 have 250% bonus Magic Find so total Magic Find will be 575% + 250% = 825%

Keep in mind that max Magic Find % with difficulty level bonus is 999%.

Suggestion about easy MF and Anomalys difficulty

True Legendarys start dropping when character is level 100 and play on Legendary+ difficulty.

For Magic Find i suggest to play Dungeon Anomalys to get Lesser Rune drops. They don’t drop on Legendary difficulty so really lowest difficulty to play for Magic Find is Mythic 1. This way you will get Lesser Runes and True Legendarys drops.

What difficulty should you play? To be fair Mythic 14-15 drop 2 runes so they are best. Anyway if you just started and doing this Anomalys takes alot time i really suggest to rush Mythic 1. Magic Find % bonus for difficulty won’t change alot and total Magic FInd % on character still will be high.

Everything depends on your items and Mastery levels. Play difficulty level that you can rush with 1 hitting monsters.

1 button gameplay and Radial loot means easy materials, crystal, crowns and items farm.

This build is easy to play just push 1 mouse button and that’s all. Hymn Aura increase Pickup Radius BY ALOT like whole screen in FULL HD resolution. Hymn Aura with changed loot filter makes gameplay very relaxing. You won’t even notice something dropped on end of your screen because you will pick it up haha 🙂

To make best use of 1 button farm change settings

Settings -> Loot Filters -> Radial Loot key toggles Auto-loot

For more information check “Skills + 1 button gameplay explanation” section in this guide.

You can decide if you want farm just for your Templar or you want farm for other characters 🙂

Change just options in game 🙂

Build changes and skill bar

This build is fun to play. Just Slice and proc Phantom Shields around 🙂

Skill bar

Build changes compared to Version 1

Salvation – Since even Mythic 15 is very easy this Aura can help but this build will survive anyway. Since it was removed for this Version all other skills from Conviction tree was removed too because they was there just to pick Salvation.

Haste Aura – This Aura replaced Salvation Aura for some speed bonus. Haste isn’t strong for Version 1 but for Magic Find Version it helps because even if damage and survival is abit lower you won’t notice this changes and Haste can speed up farming process.

Block Chance is 80% (instead 85% cap like in Version 1) but still you don’t need more for Magic Find because Mythis 15 will be easy. This build needed Magic Find on gems.

Skill points from Conviction tree was used in Redemption tree for some small bonuses. There was nothing else to choose.

Build Skill Trees

Vengeance skill tree

Wrath skill tree

Conviction skill tree

Redemption skill tree

Masterys

Mastery skill tree changed abit compared to Version 1.

In example there is more Block Chance on it (because few Block Chance gems was replaced with Magic FInd gems) and Salvation Masterys was removed.

Since Phantom Shield have now 100% proc chance this rune become very strong choice for damage.

Rune – Nemesis rune made from Nemesis shield. Great Thorns damage increase based on HP.

Armor

Weapon

Reckoning’s Instrument for 3 set piece bonus with Lesser rune of Slicing.

Gems: 1x Critical Hit Damage and 2x Cooldown Reduction gems

Rune: Lesser rune of Slicing is good for 100% reduced mana cost and cooldown reduction on Tackle. Great mobility for this build.

DIFFERENT OPTION: If you have low HP and problems with survival change critical damage stat line into Health. Damage will be abit lower but survival will be higher.

Boots

Retaliato’s Striders with Lesumbra’s rune

Gems: 2 x Shadow Resistance

Rune: Lusombra’s rune from Lusombra’s Path boots. Shadow resistance is added to Holy Damage. This rune is reason why shadow resistance is choosed to stack instead other resistances.

Ring

Aspect of the Ethereal with Hydraloop rune.

This ring is really strong for this build because it have tornado and hellfire proc stats. Keep in mind Tornado (Twister) from weapon and ring don’t stack so that’s mean every attack have 2 x 15% chance to spawn Tornado.

Gems – 2x Extra Block chance – for max block chance.

Rune – Hydraloop rune made from Hydraloop ring. Hydras are great for creating Tornados. This ring spawn up to 3 Hydras. If Templar move away from already spawned Hydras new ones can be spawned. It’s great that they don’t stay for full duration few screens away.

Have fun playing Version MF 🙂 I hope you will find all items you want 🙂

Old Versions: Skills and Masterys

Version 3 is current strongest Version of this build.

However i decided to keep older Versions of this build on end of this guide for few reasons:

  • some people will like to play this Versions because gameplay is abit different.
  • some people are close to complete that Versions of this build and need this guide to do it. In example they want complete that weaker Versions and start playing other characters.
  • it’s some kind of history how this build was changing over time
  • it can give some ideas for future upgrades
  • alot work was done so it will be sad to delete it like it never existed 😛

How build works

My templar build is based on creating with critical attacks as many Tornados and Hellfires as possible that deal Thorns damage on hit around them (AoE). That way it’s not typical Templar Thorns build because it focus on creating Tornados and Hellfires.

With 2x 15% chance to create Tornado on crit and 1x 15% chance to create Hellfire on crit this build on bosses can easy create 20+ Tornados + some hellfires and on packs of monsters …. hard to count because screen is full of Tornados and Hellfires 😀

Keep in mind Tornados ( TWISTER ) enchant from weapon and ring don’t stack so it’s not 2×15% = 30% total. Both Tornados enchants are separate 15% so that’s mean every attack have 2 x 15% chance to spawn Tornado on crit.

Tornados are better than Hellfire because they can move. When target is moving tornados follow it and if target is dead tornados move to next target. That’s why Tornados ( TWISTER ) enchant is choosed on weapon.

Tornados and Hellfires are created by:

  • 3 Hydras from Hydraloop
  • Phantom Shield
  • Magnetic Blades
  • Tackle
  • Additionally in old Version 0 – Quadruplets

There can be added to this list Magnetic Orbs or Magnetic Field if you drop Hymn Aura. It’s easy to respec since build have acces to both of skills so respeccing is about removing 5 points from 1 skill and add it to second one. Still i suggest to keep Hymn Aura 🙂

Min/Maxing Cooldown Reduction

You can find out that cooldown of spells is bigger than they effect duration. Here kick in Magnetic Blades passive named Reloaded that reduce active cooldowns by 15% when Magnetic Blades skill is used.

Skills
Vengeance skill tree

Tackle is great mobility skill. It’s better option than Slice because it can “stick” to the target in example boss. While Tackle is spammed in group of monsters it move from monster to monster instead just rushing whole pack and attacking once. It’s also better to control your movement. Charge knock back targets so it’s very bad.

Wrath skill tree

Magnetic Blades is great skill because of few reasons:

  • It trigger Static Overload – because of “Static Cling” Mastery in Wrath Mastery line it slows targets
  • It is casted once and stay around character for some time so it doesn’t need to be casted all the time
  • It got nice AoE so works really nice on groups of monsters. If you Tackle into group of monsters all of them are attacked by Magnetic Blades and there is chance that few Tornados will spawn from one attack.
  • Magnetic Blades passive named Reloaded reduce active cooldowns by 15% when Magnetic Blades skill is used. Great for min/max cooldown reduction and effect duration.

Haste Aura: I don’t use it and it’s just point waster here for me but points needed be spent somewhere in skill tree. Anyway main reason for it is attack speed. Attack speed means shorter animation for casting spells. Still Hymn aura is better in my opinion.

Hymn is great aura for collecting materials. It is increasing Pickup Radius by alot.

To make best use of this skill change settings.

Settings -> Loot Filters -> Radial Loot key toggles Auto-loot

This way character is Tackling around and auto picking up loot from very long distance 🙂

This way you get bonus elemental damage from Quadruplets. Health regen from Hearthstone is pointless. So keep in mind to do it this way.

4 skulls from Quadruplets attack fast and can spawn Tornados. If they die they respawn very fast.

Other important thing is lightning skull create bonus Static Overload orbs that slow enemys.

Gems – 1 x Holy damage and 1x Extra Block chance – i suggest put block chance gems in transmuted slot because it’s mandatory gem here. This way you can change Holy gem whenever you want for something else like bonus experience that need different gem slot.

THX FOR READING 🙂

I hope this guide will help many players 🙂

Thx for all comments that gave me ideas to improve this guide 🙂

Templar FOREVER 🙂

Thx ALL players who spent they time on writting suggestions to upgrade this guide 🙂

Nick_77: Nice idea about adding second Block Chance gem on ring for Block Chance cap. Good suggestion about changing in Vengeance Mastery line Heavy Shield Mastery into Battle-Hardened Mastery and in Class Mastery I line Block Chance Mastery into Reinforced Shields. This way overcap on Block Chance from second Block Chance gem was reduced to 5% and build got bonus 15% Reduced duration of harmful effects. I forgot after i don’t use Kingsrock build got 98% Critical Hit Chance so got suggestion to put 1 less point in Haste to max out Critical Charge 5/5.

Nick suggestions about Haste Aura added to this build ended in Version MF 🙂 Haste Aura won’t be good for Version 1 in my opinion but for Version MF where you speed clear Dunegon Anomalys it’s great because you can still one shot everything around with it 🙂

Regret4ever:Thx to player “Regret4ever” suggestions with todays guide update this Build will get some nice min/maxing (small Damage buff) and pretty nice Survival buff (Salvation Aura hit next breakpoint from 11% into 12%).

“Regret4ever” suggested changes:
– Swap Masterys: Thorn Orbs into The Best Defense.
It’s VERY small damage buff because it affect only Thunderblade damage but Thorn Orbs was total waste of Mastery point.

– Delete 1 point from Reflective Shield and max Revenge from 2/3 into 3/3.
It’s VERY small damage buff but Reflective Shield was total waste of skill point – it was there to unlock other skills.

– Change 3/3 Effect into 2/3 Effect and use that 1 skill point on Devotion to max it from 2/3 into 3/3.
It’s small damage buff but important one because this buff affect Thorns damage – real damage of this Build. Other very important part of this change are Survival buffs: small Health increase and Salvation Aura hitting next breakpoint (buff from 11% into 12%) and that’s mean nearly 10% buff 🙂 Salvation is important for Survival of this build so it’s great news 🙂

21.05.2021 Guide update info:

1) Changed All skill tree screens in sections: TL:DR – skills / masterys / items and Skills and Masterys and 1 button gameplay.

I needed to change screens because of small skill changes. On top of that because i am always testing different things to find upgrades for this Build on previous screens there was some skills that was unnecessary unlocked. I decided to reset skill trees to make new screens so they are more clear.

2) Updated Salvation Aura and Devotion screens in section: Build Survival and Codexes. Now they show numbers that changed with todays guide update.

Changed too text (mostly numbers) about Salvation Aura and Devotion to match today guide update.

Guide Updates 27.03.2021 – 30.04.2021

30.04.2021 GUIDE UPDATE

Already few times i got feedback that for some players this guide is too long to read all text (most of that feedback came from advanced players). I don’t like the idea of deleting any informations from this guide because heavy explaining all mechanics is good for many players.
On top of that this guide was updated many times based on questions. I found out good solution to make this guide good (heavy explaining all informations) and easy accesible for advanced players.

In todays guide update i added new guide section with screens about currently strongest build Version 2.1: TL:DR – skills / masterys / items. In this guide section you will find:

  • Screen with Skill bar
  • Screens with all Skill trees
  • Screen with Mastery tree
  • Screens with items (runes are already on item screens)
  • Screens of 2 codexes used in this build

If you are new player and still don’t understand some of build mechanics read other guide sections where i heavy explained build mechanics.

28.03.2021 GUIDE UPDATE

28.03.2021: Sorry for late video. Last Chronicon performance update let me record videos in alot better quality but Windows Movie Maker (video editor) don’t support that good quality. After few hours i decided to download free open source video editor to make that good quality video. That’s why it took some time to upload it. Enjoy 🙂

On first video is my Templar with 4400+ Mastery. You can see how well this build scale with Mastery levels (not only damage but defence too).

Since 4400+ is really high some players asked me already about gameplay of lower Mastery level so i decided to add 1 more video.

Here is 1500 Mastery Tier 400 gameplay (Build Version 2.1).

27.03.2021 GUIDE UPDATE

HUGE BUILD BUFF IN 1.20.0 GAME UPDATE

1) In 1.20.0 Vindicator shield got amazing bonus stat: “Each hit of the nova increases the damage of this effect by 3% to the foe hit, stacking infinitely”. After so long time this build get infinite damage scaling. It’s great news 🙂 No infinite damage scaling before 1.20.0 was only problem for this build 🙂

With max attack speed possible in the game (5 frames) this debuff stacks really fast 🙂 All attacks: Tornados, Hellfires, Thunder Blade, Phantom Shield and Static Overload hits (all hits deal damage as nova) put debuff on target 🙂

NEW BUILD VERSION: VERSION 2.1

1) Added new Version of this build: Version 2.1 . Version 2.1 is currently strongest Version of this build 🙂

Because of many changes in 26.03.2021 guide update previous Version 2.0 was deleted and previous Version 2.1 became Version 2.0 – more info in rest of this guide update info.

2) Version 2.1 uses Thunder Blade as main spell. It’s better than Lightning Nova for few reasons. One of them is bigger range ( Area of Effect) so alot more monsters can be pulled at once into one big group to be destroyed by all Tornados and Hellfires 🙂 This build have abit less damage than Version 2.0 but alot bigger Range ( Area of Effect ) let it clear maps alot faster and makes it strongest Version of this build.

3) Version 2.1 focus more on getting Reach stat than Version 2.0. Thunder Blade spell base Range ( Area of Effect ) is bigger than Lightning Nova so it scale alot better with Reach stat than Lightning Nova.

HUGE GUIDE OVERHAUL

1) Because of many guide updates and many new sections added during this time i decided to reduce number of sections and make guide more clear:

  • Sections: Introduction; Pros and Cons; How build works was merged into 1 section: Instroduction and How build works.
  • Sections: Survival: build Defence and Healing; Spell Codexes – informations and recipe was merged into 1 section: Build Survival and Codexes
  • Sections: Stats explanation; Enchanting and Ancient Enchanting; Sockets and Prismatic Sockets was merged into 1 section: Stats, Enchanting and Sockets.
  • Sections: Skills + 1 button gameplay explanation; Skill trees explanation; Masterys + Masterys Priority was merged into 1 section: Skills, Masterys and 1 button gameplay.
  • Section Version 2.0 items was deleted. Difference between Version 2.1 and Version 2.0 isn’t that big to keep it while i want make guide overhaul and add new Versions of this build. Because of this change Version 2.1 is changed into Version 2.0 .
  • Sections: OLD Version 1.1 items – more Damage; OLD Version 1.0 items – more Survival was merged into 1 section: OLD Versions: 1.1 and 1.0 items . Because of that change i needed reduce some text in that section because of text limit per section. Still there is all info needed to play that Versions.
  • Section TO DO LIST was deleted. I remember what things i want add in future to this guide and there is no need to keep this sections in guide. This will reduce number of sections even more. Anyway if people will want this section to come back i can add it again in future.

2) Section informations changes:

  • Section PRIORITY: Stats, Gems, Items, Runes was updated with items and runes used in Version 2.0 and 2.1. Previous informations in that section was outdated (there was informations about Version 1.0 and 1.1).
  • Small information changes in sections before they was merged into big sections. Changes like add some new informations or delete outdated ones or change skill names because of build changes. Text changes in sections: Stats explanation; How build works, Pros and Cons; Enchanting and Ancient Enchanting; PRIORITY: Stats, Gems, Items, Runes ; Skills + 1 button gameplay explanation ; OLD Version 1.0 items – more Survival; OLD Version 1.1 items – more Damage; OLD Version 0 – Here this story begins.
  • Some small screen changes like Skill bar or Skill tree because of skill change.

Guide Updates 29.10.2020 – 31.01.2021

31.01.2021 GUIDE UPDATE

1) Added Version 4 of this build that due to name change of all Versions it is called Version 2.1:

  • Build reached max attack speed possible in the game – just 5 frames per spell (while there are 30 Static Overload Orbs near – they are 99.99% of the time even on single targets)
  • Because of max attack speed casting all buffs takes alot less time. It’s not only Quality of Life change but DPS (damage per second) buff. Less time spent on buffs means more Novas cast 🙂
  • Decided to add 2 x Reach gems instead 2x Critidal Damage Hit gems. This build have so much Critical Damage Hit that adding Reach to the build is great Quality of Life. Pulling more monsters with higher range Nova means faster maps clear speed even if build lost abit of damage.
  • Added 1 x Increased Mana on hit gem in weapon instead Critical Damage Hit gem. With max attack speed this build was loosing slowly mana on single targets (bosses). With this gem there is no mana problems even on single targets.
  • Increased Mana on hit gem was added instead +100 Mana on Hit on Weapon for simple reason. Weapon with +100 Mana on Hit will need Attack Speed Gem in it instead Increased Mana on hit gem but with current items it will be just +16% compared to current +20% stat on Weapon. Only +20% attack speed let this build reach max Attack Speed and +16% won’t be enough to reach it.

2) Changed build Versions names. I decided to do it for few reasons:

  • With current number of Versions guide can be abit confusing. Why i don’t delete previous Versions? Answer is simple: some players can find previous Versions more fun even if they are weaker. On top of that if someone is close to finish previous Version and want move on to other character after finishing it there must be previous Versions still avaible in guide.
  • With current names of Versions it can take alot time (reading whole guide) for players to find out what Version is really upgraded one (gameplay change) and what Version is just upgrade of previous Version. With new Version names like Version 2.0 and 2.1 it will be easy to understand that Version 2.0 is something totally new while 2.1 is upgraded Version 2.0.

3) In all previous build Versions sections i added information about previous build Version to make things clear.

4) Added new video for new Version 2.1

01.11.2020 GUIDE UPDATE

I got information that i made mistake and there was wrong Ring screen in Version 3 items – Strongest Version section.

Thx for letting me know about that.

Fixed Version 3 Ring screen in Version 3 items – Strongest Version section.

29.10.2020 GUIDE UPDATE

29.10.2020 BIGGEST BUILD UPGRADE AND GUIDE UPDATE

This is BIGGEST build upgrade and Guide Update because i needed rework most guide sections with different informations and screens. Build changed alot in terms of items, runes, gems and skills. I decided to keep Old Versions of this build for few reasons that i explained in guide. Ofcourse Old Versions of this build was moved on end of this guide to make it clear that they aren’t strongest Versions of this build.

  • This guide update brings Version 3 of my build – currently strongest Cast on Crit Version.
  • Added Video of Version 3 on start of Steam Guide. Link to VIdeo about previous build Versions is posted in Version 1 and Version 2 sections.
  • Added new section: Version 3 items – Strongest Version. There are alot screens and informations about all items, runes and gems used in this build.
  • Reworked whole How build works section with Version 3 informations. Explained how Static Overload and Magnetic Overload works and how amazing they are for attack speed and clear speed of this build. Explained power of Lightning Nova, Lightning Phantom Shield procs and Jeopardy ring.
  • Reworked Skill trees explanation section. Changed all screens and changed half text because of skill changes for Version 3 of this build.
  • Reworked Skills + 1 button gameplay explanation section. Changed screens and most informations because few skills changed in Version 3.
  • Changed some old screens and added new screens to Survival: build Defence and Healing section based on upgrades for Version 3 of this build.
  • Masterys + Masterys Priority section was changed abit. I added new screen because of small Mastery changes for Version 3. Section was changed abit to make it more clear.
  • Since Min/Max Cooldown Reduction in Version 3 isn’t anymore based on using Magnetic Blades i deleted Min/Max Cooldown Reduction section.
  • Added Old Versions: Skills and Masterys section – I explained there why i decided to keep Old Versions of this build on end of guide. There are informations about Skills, Skill Trees, Masterys, Mastery Priority and Min/Max Cooldown Reduction for Version 1, Version 2 and Version 0 and how that builds work.
  • Changed Version 0, Version 1 and Version 2 sections names into Old Version 0, Old Version 1 and Old Version 2 to let people know they aren’t current strongest Versions of this build. At start of that sections i added information that current strongest build Version is Version 3 to make things clear. Sections about Version 0, Version 1 and Version 2 was moved on end of this guide.

05.09.2020 GUIDE UPDATE:
  • Replaced previous youtube video with strongest build Version ( Version 1 ) Endless Anomaly Tier 400 youtube video.
  • Fixed some text in few guide sections.

03.09.2020 GUIDE UPDATE:

  • Added Version 1 to guide with items screens and stats explanation. It’s strongest version of this build. Compared to Version 0 it have better gameplay and alot more damage and survival.
  • Added Version 2 to guide with items screens and stats explanation. Compared to Version 1 it have abit less damage but abit more survival. You can easier change Hymn Aura with this Version. That’s reasons why Version 2 was added to guide so you can choose what is best option for you. Compared to Version 0 it have better gameplay and alot more damage and survival.
  • First build Version became Version 0 ( not 1, 2, 3 etc. ) to not confuse players. Number 0 let players know it’s out of order. It stay in guide to let people know how this build started and to let see changes in this build if someone played this version before and want upgrade it now.
  • Changed screens for Grace and Salvation to show current proc rates for this skills.
  • Changed alot text in different sections because this build was changed. In example deleted Quadruplets explanation since they aren’t anymore in both upgraded Versions of this build.
30.08.2020 GUIDE UPDATE:

  • Added Youtube video for this build. I made few videos already but got sound problems with them. Recorded videos got sound but Windows Movie Maker didn’t see videos sound. GOOD NEWS 😀 Music added to video on Youtube finally is there 🙂 It took Youtube 1 whole day to add this 6 minute music 😛
  • Added Enchanting and Ancient Enchanting section explaining stats and runes priority for normal Enchanting and Ancient Enchanting.
  • Changed again some text in few sections to make it more clear 🙂
28.08.2020 GUIDE UPDATE:
  • Changed all screens for items. Previous screens was done in 0.98 game version with Kingsrock ring so gems in all items was stronger. With Aspect of The Ethereal and Hydraloop rune on it all gems are less powerfull so i got some questions how my gems are so strong.
  • Added game options screen how to set 1 button gameplay because got question about it.
  • Changed text in amulet and ring informations because changed 1 gem in a ring slot and main rune for Amulet.
  • Changed Mastery Points screen because:

    1) After nice suggestions and discussion decided to add 1 more Block Chance gem on ring because build didn’t achieve Block Chance cap after i changed ring. Than build got 15% Block Chance overcap. Based on suggestion i changed in Vengeance Mastery line Heavy Shield Mastery into Battle-Hardened Mastery and in Class Mastery I line i changed Block Chance Mastery into Reinforced Shields. This way build have just 5% Block Chance overcap and bonus 15% Reduced duration of harmful effects.

    2) I got question how i was able to put points in Soul Purge Synergy with just 1 point in Empowered Expulsion in Redemption Mastery line. I must say at start it was strange for me because i imported this build few times while i was doing tests. Answer is that Empowered Expulsion need 2 points to let you put points in Soul Purge Synergy BUT npc let you put off 1 point from Empowered Expulsion and if you save build you can easy import it. That’s how i made previous screen with just 1 point. Anyway i decided to change screen and add new screen with 2 points in Empowered Expulsion.

  • Changed all screens for all skill trees to make them look better.
  • After ring change and less power on gems build got 98% Critical Hit Chance. I must say i forgot about it haha 🙂 Got nice suggestion to delete 1 point from Haste Aura and add it to Critical Charge. This way Critical Charge is 5/5 and build have once again 100% Critical Hit Chance.
  • I added some kind of “thx for suggestions” section on end of the guide to thx all people who spent time to write nice suggestions to upgrade this build 🙂
26.08.2020 GUIDE UPDATE:
  • Added new section about Priority for Stats, Gems, Items and Runes.
  • Added some additional informations in other sections.
  • Changed writting in few places to make it easier to understand
  • Explained better how Salvation works, how increase it’s power and added screen for that
