Unique Loot – Where to find it!

Overview

A guide for People who are looking for a specific item. This guide will tell you what unique enemies drop what unique item and where to find them.

My Overview

Hello everyone!

I appreciate all the love this non finished guide has received and I apologies for not finishing it, however someone has made and finished the same guide I was making so I will give credit where credit is due and leave a link to that guide here.

[link]

This is my first guide and I am excited. I do like to throw a bit of humor in everything I do, I hope you guys catch on to that. 😛

While playing the game I noticed that certain unique enemies will ALWAYS drop certain unique items, so I thought it would be great to compile a list of all the unique enemies, what they drop and where to find them.

Now my main character is a Warlock so most of the items (but not all) will be oriented towards that class, as I complete the list with the Warlock I will moved on to another character and start gathering information if drops are different and what those drops are.

So if you do not main Warlock do not despair you can HELP! I would gladly take help from people that main other characters to check what the enemies drop for them so we can get a great and accurate guide that everyone can benefit from.

If you would like to contribute send me a message! 🙂

If it seems like I skipped an area it will 99.9% mean there was no Unique enemy in that area and a 0.1% that I might have missed it, in this case please let me know and I will hunt it down.

About Unique Items

To begin with a Unique enemy will always drop its unique item no matter what difficulty you are playing.

Unique Items name will always be Purple.

You will notice if the enemy is unique its name will always be green comapred to all the other enemy names are white.

All Unique items will drop with the same affixes catergory but not values (This does not only apply to unique items also legendary items)
+Weapons always drop with XX% Attack Speed and XX% Critical Strike Chance

As seen in the picture below both rings have +%Fire Resistance but the level 7 ring has more Fire Resistance then the level 100 and that is because the value is a random chance, the only thing the level effects is the Health, Mana, Damage value.

So Mollug’s One Ring will ALWAYS drop with Goblin companion and +%Fire Resistance and every item in the game drops with HEALTH, MANA, and DAMAGE.

If it seems like I skipped an area it will 99.9% mean there was no Unique enemy in that area and a 0.1% that I might have missed it, in this case please let me know and I will hunt it down.

Act 1- The Fallen Temple- Accesory for All

The first unique enemy you will find in your adventure is Glod. You have to click on the alter/shrine in the middle of the first room and he will pop out.

His shiny reward- Will always roll with +% Crystals Found and +%Pick up radius.

Act 1- Lower Temple Halls

Going straight north you will find A Sealed Chamber. You will have to find a unique enemy called The Treasurer

And It will drop the Treasury Key that will open the Sealed Chamber that will lead to another unique enemy. The Treasurer does not drop any actual unique gear, it only drops the key.

A Sealed Chamber

In here besides finding alot of crystals you will also find Mollug and his….. precious.

The Ring will always drop with +%Fire Resistance and the Goblin Summon

Act 1- Servant Dormitory

There are no unique enemies in the Servant Dormitory BUT there is if you go in the Dormitory Storage which is located in.. yuppp you guessed it.. the Servant Dormitory

Dormitory Storage

It’s a rather small place so finding the next unique enemy will be no problem.

It is a bit grumpy but at the end it will give you its robe. Always drops with +%Frost Damage and +% to Release a Frost Nova.

Act 1- Upper Temple Halls

Outahel usually hangs around somewhat close to the starting area but not always there, some searching will never hurt. In the picture I also include my map just to give an idea of where I found it. On the map you are the red X.

The last few Uniques dropped items that were not class specific, until now. Outahel for me as I main Warlock, (have only tested with warlock so far) always drops a Staff. (testing on other classes will come soon). All staffs also roll with %Attack Speed and %Critical Strike and for Bat Bat. +%Fire Damage.

The Offering Chamber

Another place within the Upper Temple Halls worth checking out is The Offering Chamber inside you will find a very friendly ghost that would be glad to part with its loot…. not really.

Guardian Lukan is another of those Uniques that does not drop unique gear but does drop a key that unlocks a sweet sweet door straight north within the same room… very hard to miss. (I put a spoiler protection on the picture, hopefully it works)

Act 1- Storage Room

Always a reminder, If it seems like I skipped an area it will 99% mean there was no Unique enemy in that area and a 1% that I might have missed it, in this case please let me know and I will hunt it down, thank you.

This is a place I am very familiar with since I am a poison oriented Warlock and the Unique enemy here drops a goodie for poison builds. Besides being an area to possible farm for the unique loot it is also an area everyone recommends to farm for EXP because it is short and condensed with alot of enemies and it truthfully is good.

That brings me to…… Darkskitter a sometimes invisible spider often found to the west of the portal but can spawn anywhere in The Storage Room really.

With its very lovely armor that comes with +%Poison Damage and %To poison attackers.
The most +%Poison Damage I was able to roll so far has been +32%. Still farming it to try to get a better one and one at level 100.

Act 1- The Old Tunnels

The Watcher is the next one on the list, it’s one of those floating spiky eye ball enemies.

The Unique loot drops with +XX Health on hit and +XX Mana on hit, these values seem to be connected with the level of it item and not just a drop chance. (further testing is needed)

Act 1- Hall of Prayers

Roaming the halls you will find Mary but no ordinary Mary.. she is the bloody kind.

She drops her mirror with a %chance on hit to cause bleeding and +% Physical Damage, good thing she did not break the mirror that’s a whole lot of bad luck right there.

Ceremonial Chamber

The next fella is located in the Ceremonial Chamber which I have always found to be all the way WEST and then SOUTH of the waypoint within the Hall of Prayers, if you go southwest it might be a bit deceving, going south first you will get some dead end rooms and no Ceremonial Chamber. See picture of map for reference, remember the red X is where you are on the map.

Drops The Dark Staff with +% Shadow Damage and +% Chance to explode foes upon death

This concludes all the unique enemies and items they drop for Act 1 and once again If it seems like I skipped an area it will 99% mean there was no Unique enemy in that area and a 1% that I might have missed it, in this case please let me know and I will hunt it down. Thank you very much

Act 2- The Forest Front Line

First up at bat for Act 2 will be Deren’la the Dead Eye, I have usually found him very early in the map either to the left or right.

The Deadeye Hood is his dropped loot. With a +% Critical Hit Chance. Even if it’s suspicious because he wears a green hood and the one he drops is red.. makes you wonder if it is really his or it could be a her!

Act 2- The Southern Advance- Templar Weapon

Happily running around the woods until it attacks you is Flamehorn a…. red goat? ram? deer? stag? whatever it is… all we know is that its “The Blazing” and rather hard to miss with its red coat. I usually find it pretty early in the map, but always remember that it could be different for you.

It leaves behind (take one guess what it will be called)……. Flamehorn (yes I know very unique name), a unique sword that is only for Templars with +% Fire Damage and +% chance on critical hit to cause an explosion also like every weapon in the game it comes with XX% Attack Speed and XX% Critical Hit Chance.

Act 2- The Northern Advance – Warden Weapon

So’eira <The Quick>…. needs to work on the “quick” part if he wants to keep his beloved unique loot. No specific spawn point for this one that i have noticed.

This unique drop is for the Warden, So’eria’s Needler. It drops with +% Attack Speed and +% Movement Speed I would say a good farming weapon.

Act 2- Deepwood

Now to farm this next unique enemy, Paledust, is a bit annoying because the map it self is very big and Paledust can spawn anywhere, I have not found any consistant spot where it spawns, in all the times I have farmed it. I apologize in advance for the not-so-clear screenshot but this little booger is a pixie and dies very quickly for me plus with my poison effects it covers the whole enemy and after many tries and alot of time to track it down this is the best screen shot.

Keep in mind that it’s a Pixie you are looking for with 3 crowns on its head and with the name Paledust.

Heart of the forest comes with +% Experience Gained and +XX Health per second which makes it a good Exp farming loot if you need a bit of a boost grinding away at levels.

Act 2- Rosewood- Staff

It seems like almost every map in ACT2 is big and a tad bit annoying to farm if you want any of these unique Items. So yes Qu’ayle’s is not going to be an easy farm unless you are lucky. He is an Elven Mage.. not that it would help haha.

Qu’ayle’s Wisdom is a Warlock staff that comes with +XX Mana per second +XX Health per second and +XX Mana on hit good item if you keep finding yourself out of mana.

Act 2- Thundering Cave- Boots

Thundering cave CAN be missed, it is not a story progression map so you do not have to go there and if you are rushing Rosewood there could be a chance to miss it.

To get to Thundering Cave you have to find the entrance from Rosewood than after exploring a bit in the Cave you will find its own waypoint (I believe it is just to the south of the entrance) after doing that it will be easier to get to Thundering Cave since you can just teleport right to it without looking for the entrance each time in Rosewood.

Thunderaan of the thunderus thunderer thunder shook thunderars.. well you get the picture (felt like I was singing AC/DC right there) when looking for it i would suggest starting with going straight south and going in those tunnels, I have found it there about 80% of the time, but like always please keep in mind that it won’t always be in the same spot.

Well would you look at that it dropped an item for a Lightning build I would have not seen that coming after all the “Thunders” in its name… sooo yes the Thunderstompers with +XX% Lightning Damage and +X% chance to increase movement speed by 25% for 5 seconds when struck.

Act 3 – Servant Quarters – Accesorry

Welcome to Act 3! The Shadow of the Priest can be missed if you are flying between the maps because it’s invisible until it attacks you. Now imagine trying to get a screen shot of this while trying to keep my mouse on it so the name shows up… yeah that was fun… -_-

I added a map of where I usually found it, if not that exact spot then a bit further east in that same corridor, but will always be east of the Infested Cellar door.

Anxiety is what it gives you when you just see your health drop and dont see who is attacking you. Anxiety is nothing special with +XX Health on hit and +XX Mana on hit.

Act 3 – Infested Cellar – Poison Dmg Accessory

Act 3 seems to like big maps so these next few uniques are going to be a pain to farm but if you stack some +% movement speed it should be quick.

Flickerdeath The Spinner is a spider that can spawn anywhere on the map.

Hit it hard enough and you will loosen up a Flickerfang which is a nice poison damage accessory that comes with Poison foes hit for XX% Poison damage per second for 5 seconds and +XX% Poison damage
