Chronicon Guide

[v0.98] Warden/Druid Mushrooms for Chronicon

[v0.98] Warden/Druid Mushrooms

Overview

A warden guide utilizing the mushroom mechanic.

1. Skills

Skill setup

Vine Blast (LMB)
Since our main source of damage are mushroom procs we use Vine Blast as a primary skill.
This gives us a nice basic AoE attack with good range and spread.

Toxic Storm (RMB)
I’m not sure about this one. I use this while running through packs and pulling them together.
You can also run Boom Shrooms with Boomspore rune to get some nice damage spikes.

Leaf Wind (1)
Just always good to have a heal.

Sprint (2)
Our mobility skill.

Treant Guard (3)
Use this as your tank and for grouping enemies in front of you so you can concentrate your shrooms on one small spot.

Spiderlings (4)
Some small companions to soak up some damage for us. I prefer multiple little ones over one big.

Skill trees

Windranger

Druid

Storm Caller

Winter Herald

Masteries

2. Items

For our class set we use Shroom Tender’s Garb, obviously.
I’m going for the full set as the damage reduction from bonus 4 comes in really handy.

For jewellery we use All for one which give an overall good boost.

Lastly we use Fleetstriders which give us the superb passive of running through enemies unhinderedly.

The accessory is debatable but for the moment I like sticking with Lone Rangers.

3. Playstyle

The reason I’m liking this build so much is the playstyle that comes along with it.

The basic rotation is like this:

Activate Leaf Wind/Sprint/Toxic Storm and start running at enemies.
Depending on your gear you can pull several packs of elite mobs (up to half the level) and then just stay back and spam Vine Blast on top of them.

If the get to close to you or start running stray you can use your Treant Guard to try to bring them back together.

4. Discussion

I wrote this guide mainly for two reasons.

The first one being that I really enjoy this build and want to share with other players.

Second I want to put this up to discussion to find further possible improvements or tweaks.

I hope you enjoy this build and I’m glad for any feedback!
