Overview
For anyone looking to hunt the hardest 5 achievements in the game(Beating the 5 Remix Bosses). This isn’t a guide describing what you should do. This is a guide that will TELL YOU what you should do, with exact positions on each map, which buttons to press, boss patterns, etc.
Neo Khidir
If you’ve mastered the patterns of the original Khidir, then this boss is only a grind battle, as this boss only has more complex patterns but the number of patterns is the same. So basically, when you first get into it, it will seem impossible as red globs are coming from all directions and you have so little space and health to work with. However, if you look closely, you will notice that you have dash and jumps avaliable.
NOTE: USE YOUR SPECIAL ANYTIME YOU HAVE MANA, YOU ARE SPELLBLADE SO YOU GET MANA BACK EASILY.
The Boss Patterns
Pattern 1: Neo Khidir will shoot randomly at all directions, this is the EASIEST pattern to dodge and you should not lose ANY health on this one. Just simply stand on the bottom left platform, NOT THE RIGHT, and dodge them.
Pattern 2: Neo Khidir will spray from RIGHT to LEFT in a circle, now lets assume you are on the bottom left platform as you should when this happens. All you have to do is jump 3 times from the bottom left platform, dash over to the right over neo khidir and land on the upper right platform, by then the pattern should have ended. WHEN YOU LAND ON THE UPPER RIGHT PLATFORM, MAKE SURE YOU IMMEDIATELY GO DOWN, DO NOT STAY AND DAMAGE HIM, GO DOWN AND IMMEDIATELY DASH BACK TO THE LOWER LEFT PLATFORM.
Patter 3: Neo Khidir will spray from LEFT TO RIGHT, now this is the HARDEST pattern to master, as you will need to have extremely fast reaction timing. Because you are on the left platform and the spray starts right above you. What you must do here is dash immediately to the right platform and jump on as before but the hard part is in the jumping because (trust me) its hard when jumping to the right. So basically same procedure, you want to then jump 3 times and dash over Neo Khidir and land on the upper left platform. WHEN YOU LAND, ONCE AGAIN, DO NOT STAY THERE, PRESS DOWN AND LAND IMMEDIATELY ON THE LOWER LEFT PLATFORM, DO NOT GET GREEDY.
Just keep practicing doding patterns 2 and 3 and adjust it to how you like it and you should be good!
Alexander The IV
Ok, so people say this guy is the hardest to beat, however I do not think so, Neo Khidir gave me way more troubles. I think people are having trouble with boss because 1 of 2 reasons.
1: You don’t know how to kite.
2. You can’t stay calm.
Admit it, the boss isn’t hard, the only hard part is avoiding those stupid flying things. And they hit for A TON.
Ok here are the exact steps on how to beat this boss.
Step 1: You will spawn in the left side lower platform, this is a fact, you spawn there. Ok, so, right after you spawn, make a shadow clone so you can teleport back to it later on.
Step 2: Wait for the boss to come to you, and kite him, make sure you kite him well. If you can’t kite, then you should not be playing this game at this level. Also make sure that if you DO take damage from anything here, just jump on the spike instead of geting hit by Alexander or his minions, the spikes does 5x less damage.
Step 3: After you’ve ran out of spaces to kite, use your Hokage special and subsitute to the other side(not hard). Ok, here is the climax, MAKE SURE YOU STAY ON THE TOP PLATFORM OF THE RIGHT SIDE, DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT FIGHT HIM ON THE LEFT SIDE. Kill a few skulls while waiting for Alexander to come back to the right side. And kite him until you’ve reached the end of the platform span. DO NOT KITE HIM ANY FURTHER. At this point, use your shadow clone and teleport back to the left side(the shadow clone you made in step 1).
Step 4: Once you get back there, you should have MANY MANY skulls waiting for you, KILL THEM ALL before Alexander comes back, if you don’t, RESTART!!, because you will DIE of a horrible death.
Step 5: Basically, just repeat steps 1-4, make clone, kite, go to other side upper platform, kite, repeat.
If you’ve mastered all of this, then it should be CAKE.
Ponce De Freon
Ok so honestly there isn’t much to say besides this boss is extremely fraustrating and made me rage quit countless times, in my opinion he isn’t hard but isn’t easy either, I honestly think he is harder than Alexander the IV.
There isn’t much to talk about because his movement is largely randomized, although he does like to move in circles. His attacks involves either dashing to you or immediately moving after you.
It is almost impossible to predict which he will do. Note: If he decides to dash after you, then you get 3 hits on him before he moves. If he decides to move after you, then you can only get 2 hits in before he acts. So its a good idea to only hit him twice and immediately moving away. I’m sure you already know this in countless other guides, but please do not waste you shouts because you only get 3 of them.
The easiest thing for me was to dash, make sure you utilize DASH as effectively as possible, whenever you are about to run out of jumps, just dash forward and avoid the fireballs below you.
Aside from that there really isn’t much to say about this boss. Just play it smart and hold him in an area long enough so the other area’s fireballs will disappear so you have more room to work with. This guy has TONS of hp but fortunately so do you, so it all works out.
Astrodotus
This fight is so easy its kind of offensive compared to fights like Ponce De Freon. I’m sure most of you aren’t looking for a guide on this easy boss but here is one anyways for the sake of it.
You might think that you need to take out the slow glob first, but think again, the only time you are hurt is when the red blob hurt you when you accidently broke it apart and find it hard to dodge the red ones and fight the green ones. So what does this mean? KILL THE RED GLOB FIRST.
Yes, my advice is to always stay in the center areas away from the edges as the asteroids are very tricky and your eye might not be able to see all the ones flying across, so always save yourself some reaction timing. Trust me once you kill all the red ones, the greens ones are cake.
I really don’t think any further information is needed on this boss.
The Brohannes
Ahh, ok. So this fight definitely wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be. However it could be fraustrating. First of all you only get this boss fight once you beat all the other ones and found this Obol at the statue.
You are basically fighting 2 advanced versions of Johannes the Traitor, it isn’t hard at all. They react faster, and there are two of them, but thats about it. You need to kill both to win the fight.
Here are the steps:
Step 1: Dash to the far corner and use all of your throwing knives, because using it at a close distance would cause them to block it. And throw your knives in intervals, not just all at once, as they get a immune period of about 1 second after you hurt them. This, if done right should bring at least one of them down to 2/3 hp and the other one to 4/5 hp.
Step 2: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO ENGAGE THEM OR JUMP OVER THEM: YOU WILL GET SLAUGHTERED.
Step 3: Play it safe, they will try to dash to you, just attack them once and they will be knocked back. During this however, one of them might be throwing blades at you, so make sure you dodge them. Do not JUMP, unless you are backed into a corner, because their axes in the air will obliterate you if you attempt to jump. Also, make sure you don’t stay too far away from these guys because their axes travel very far and you want to be as close as possible but not too close.
Step 4: Because they get knocked back once you hit them, its very easy to just repeat and keep hitting them with your sword.
If you’re able to even get to this fight, then there really isn’t much to say besides just keep at it and you should be able to beat it very soon.
