Bait your foes into a trap that they wont expect.
How it works/How to do the trick
So you may not know this, but you can hide in closets as the neighbor. This can lead to a trick I like to call, “The Mouse-trap”.
Step 1. Place a key, keycard, gun down in front of a closet.
Step 2. With scroll wheel button or whatever button you have set the voice menu to, shout for help, show where a key is or show where a keycard is.
Step 3. When no-one is around, turn into the neighbor and hide in the closet.
Step 4. Hold left mouse button to peek until a kid tries to take the item.
Step 5. Capture
Step 6. Repeat or relocate or play the game normally.
It’s also better to do this at the beginning of the round.
Tips
Best classes to do this trick:
Leader – Her ability can help you get to the location faster.
Scout – If the kids get to run away, you can use the slingshot.
Bagger – You can carry more valuables.
Best ways to counter:
Go in a group.
Have weapons or a gun.
Be the Brave class and (if you can use the ability to escape his hands) hit him while you are in his hands.
If you are struggling to pick which type of neighbor to do this with, I’d recommend the original neighbor and not the clown. This is because you can use bear traps and rage. Bear traps can be placed right in front of the doorway your victims will come through and can accomplish this trick easier. You can also place a flashlight that’s emitting light on the ground facing the door way in combination with the bear trap to blind the player and make them walk in the bear trap.
