Do’s and Don’ts of Earthfall coop gameplay (Campaign and Invasion)

Overview

A quick Do’s and Don’ts for Earthfall Campaign and Invasion gameplay (this is not an advanced strategy guide).Teamwork is everything in coop games. Earthfall is no exception.This should help new players get up to speed quickly.

Earthfall Don’ts

-Don’t use the grenade launcher or flame thrower to cause friendly fire (don’t shoot these weapons forward from behind your friends).
-Don’t stand in a doorway and shoot as others will not be able to shoot or will shoot you.
-Don’t reposition turrets or barricades that others already placed.
-Don’t run ahead and activate events when your team is not ready.
-Don’t leave players behind.
-Don’t grab items that others print (This is most important in Invasion).
-Don’t grab all the weapons or other items at the start of a game. Share. Same for running ahead and collecting stuff. Share.
-Don’t throw grenades at barricades.

Earthfall Do’s

-Do cover your teammates and revive downed teammates ASAP (keep a Stimshot to speed it up).
-Do stay together but Split up the team to cover different areas where aliens enter. Don’t all shoot in one area.
-Do kneel when shooting in front of others.
-Do help with installing barricades and fortify with propane tanks. If the barricades take damage, refresh them by picking them up and re-deploying them (you will lose the propane).
– When activating traps in Invasion, think about when you are doing it and where your teammates are. Make sure they are ready and out of harms way.
– When activating events in Campaign, think about when you are doing it and where your teammates are. Make sure they are ready.
-Balance killing alien waves with advancing the objectives.
-Do use a headset/mic if possible. If not, use chat. Good communication is vital in coop games.
-In Invasion Do print extra barricades and in Campaign Do print extra rifles.
