Control the Map
Your entry-level heavy ship is the perfect introduction to muscular battling. The head tracked Flak Cannon packs a devastating punch and coupled with the Electromagnetic Shield (EMS) you can begin to master the art of dominating areas of the map.

The Horn of Plenty
As its name suggests this is an impressively robust option. The Rhino’s shields aren’t all that but it is armor-plated to the hilt and its powerful Flak Cannons make it a great choice for warping into the thick of battle and toughing it out, soaking up damage and taking large numbers of enemies with it.

Heavy Metal
Hero Goliath is, comparatively, a slow lumbering beast, so not a first choice when it comes to mixing it up in the heat of battle. Instead, a good tactic is to sit on the periphery of the action, make good use of its potent head tracked missiles and employ the warp drive when you need to get out of a sticky situation.

Unleash the Whirlwind
The Cyclone’s role has altered somewhat over the course of the game’s development. Fresh pilots will find its lack of offensive power compensated for by its EMS capabilities.

Missiles at the Ready

Mortar This Than Meets the Eye
The Maelstrom’s unique mortars can inflict large amounts of damage if deployed with accuracy, but that is by no means a given. It’s capable of devastating damage but only in the right hands.
