For neato, fast sketches; I love this tool, its simple and it lets me make fast sketches for projects real fast, no need for a link since its in the name…
GREAT tool for 8-bit 16-bit 32-bit or even 64-bit if thats what you are into…
Anyways, this tool will blow your mind, it is a simple tool that lets you do precision pixel art, and it has built-in GIF support, so get ready to make some 8-bit stuff with this!

bfxr is an AMAZING fully free tool for making 8 and 16 bit sounds for your games, novels and whatever you want, the online version requieres flash but you can download an .exe
