Basics for the newbies
*This guide is not gonna explain the super basic stuff. only the important stuff that makes the game more enjoyable.
1: Dashing: Dashing is super important. When combined with the shield dash perk you become unstoppable, dashing-> stunning the enemy then get the critical hit from behind. Dashing isnt only used for offence but in many instances i found it necessary to get out of combat and use some bandages. summed up dashing is important, and when mastered you can wipe out whole maps at a time with ease.
2.Skill tree: the skill tree is also SUPER important. it adds the most fun to the game, allowing new abilities and tricks to wipe out your enemies. After playing for a while there are 2 skills to get right away.These are super helpful.
Attacking: Add bleeding damage over 6 seconds to your enemies, doubling your total damage.
Shielding:Can dash whilst shielding to dash and stun enemies
3. The loot tree: Dont get confused with the colors. it goes like this. *Rarest to common*
-Purple
-orange
-green
-blue
-grey-just the common drops
4.Companions, companions can be bought at the tavern, they can be SUPER useful but be advised that *in my opinion* it takes away from the game because they do all the work, its a lot more fun playing without companions. BUT they are super awesome if you want to do it. in the companions tab you can set whether you want them to be passive, agressive, wait or follow you in combat. *best companion is high stat mage*
Books and Tavern
How to use the library, well over time you will get books, once you get enough chapters you can go to the library and buy the book to receive a bonus. there are 12 books total. *TO DO THIS FASTER MAKE SURE TO READ TAVERN TIP*

TAVERN: The tavern will attract nearby adventurers to hire, and generate profit, depending on the size of the tavern. The gold can be collected from the chest out front and the mercenaries can be found inside.
-The Tavern also provides Contracts via the job board out front. Contracts are randomly-generated Quests to provide additional xp and income.
-Inside the tavern talking to the bartender there is a mini game with achievements that provide fantastic permanent buffs.
TAVERN GAME: ok now the tavern game is waaay to overpowered, its super simple to play and give you some insane bonuses after a short time of playing, *make sure you have all the cards before playing, you get them pretty early in game so keep checking in every once in a while.*
Once you unlock these achievements you will get boost.

how to do all acheivements:
Natural Progress
Most of the achievements in Regions of Ruin are pretty straighforward and easy to unlock. This section covers those achievements that can be unlocked through natural progress.
Earthquake
Stun 10 enemies
Simply just block 10 attacks from enemies. You’ll get it in like 10 minutes
Child With A Stick
Do over 100 dmg in one hit.
Most weapons can achieve this damage. Find some new gear. like 15 minutes max in you’ll get it
Pocket Change
With all that hard work, you have finally gathered 1,000.
Pretty easy to get, just remember to exit with 1000 in your inventory. easy to get, sell some stuff. get 1000 coins then exit game.
Horde SkinnerKill 100 Goblins, at least the air smells nicer now.
Kill 100 Goblins. super easy just play the game a lil bit.
Blocker
Block over 50 DMG from one hit
Super easy to get, play a while until enemies start doing 50+dmg. then simply block a hit.
Sledgehammer
Do over 1,000 dmg in one hit.
once you get around the middle of the game you can get this, try using a good weapon with high crit dmg% to backstab if you want to get it ASAP
Somewhere In-Between
This section covers those achievements that will more than likely be unlocked through natural progression but that may be missed.
The Ore Hoarder
Max out T3+ stockpile with raw ores.
Easy requirement to satisfy. Ores are essential and with enough workers it’s insanely easy to max out your stockpiles. In fact at the end of the game you have too many workers… If you want to speed this up, simply prioritize caves after having upgraded your stockpile to 3 or higher.
Back-Stabber
Back Stab 100 Enemies
This achievement is rlly easy, youll get it with play time.
If you want to rush this achievement go to a Siege that you can handle relatively safely and run behind one of the spawns. All attacks performed when they first spawn should count.
Money Tree
It seems that you have found yourself a money tree! You’ve collected 10,000 gold.
This is a pretty simple achievement. easiest way to do it is to go gather a bunch of useless equipment and sell it all at once.
Note: Remember to save and quit with the money in your inventory for the achievement to pop.
One Fell Swoop
Kill 10 enemies in one attack.
Easiest way imo is to Group up enemies on low lvl seige and just bonk em all with a relatively good weapon.
Stay Down!
Do over 10,000 dmg in one hit.
All in all it’s still an easy achievement to get if you’re not rushing. If you increase your dexterity for crit dmg and perform back-stabs you’ll unlock it in no time.
Note: If you’re trying to rush, the Surprise Melee Attacks skill in the Attacking tree will help.
Batter Up
Deflect 100 Projectiles, so how many home runs?
Simple to get if you’re not rushing as there’s plenty of opportunities to deflect projectiles.
Note: If you’re trying to rush, there’s an Angry Librarian at the Cotton Farm in the North-East of the map. If you touch his books he’ll unleash a volley of fireballs. They’re possible to mostly defelct but the ones that slip through do hurt so make sure you have stacked your fire resistance and have decent CON.
MY knee is fine
Take 1,000 arrows, be one with the porcupine.
For this i just went to the little lake icons on the map just south west of the settlement, the lizard men do like no dmg so they just throws tons of spears at you and you’ll be done in no time. *Seeping Bog* is a good location.
Exterminator
Kill 100 Cave Creatures, who you gonna call?
Just play through without rushing so u don’t miss caves, it’ll come with the game, if your rushing go to all cave locations.
Bunny Genocide
Kill 1,000 Rabbits, no remorse for vermin.
The biggest grind out of all achievements. Make sure to kill most bunnies that you see. Its an over exaggerated achievement in other guides but start off the game killing like 70% of the bunnies you see and you’ll have it done when or before you beat the game.
A little bit of effort
What Were You Saying?
Do over 100,000 dmg in one hit.
Play through the game and do a simple backstab youll get it, not that hard… also if your rushing the EASIEST way is to get the shield dash stun skill, group up some enemies > dash through them so they are all group and stunned. then back stab them all at once and youll get crazy dmg, its ONE HIT so doesnt matter how many enemies. You hit.
Sprawling Settlement
Your settlement is coming along nicely.
Upgrade all 8 buildings nothing else, dont be fooled.
Federal Reserve
You’ve collected 100,000 gold, it’s time to go swimming!
You actually have to have 100,000 gold on your person. GUYS I FOUND A CRAZY WAY. do seiges -> collect all loot, then go sell it, seiges give you tons of orange loot worth decent amounts. also farming bounties and selling accessories. Make sure that you save and quit with 100,000 gold in your inventory.
That Tickles
Block over 200 DMG from one hit.
id say put on rlly crappy armor for ex leather, then put on a rlly good shield and go to an enemy that does like 300 dmg, youll get it. nothing more than that.
Map
This is the regular map, Ive done literally every single mission in the game so its 100% full. no spoilers. The map below it (second map) shows all beacon locations so dont look at it if you dont want the locations!

Extras + My best Tip
Best weapon in game so far *i think, no one online has shown any weapon above 50k value. this is 65k and annihilates everything with one hit* WITH THE CORRECT GEAR IT GETS UP TO 4 MILLION average crit dmg. Keep note that i found that gear levels with you, so if your level is 30 you will find better loot when shopping than if your 15,20 etc. Also i BELIEVE, i’m not sure but the higher lvl you get orange rarity becomes WAY more common while shopping.
MY BEST TIP, use the dash while shielding to stun super large groups of enemies, you want to have a weapon with high crit dmg %. Usually like 150%+ is good. 250+ is exceptional. then once behind the enemies turn around and hit them, its an insane strategy and wipes out everything.

Another extra:
by press “Right shift+d+e+v” at the same time you activate developer mode. then by pressing = on your keyboard you can speed up the game, fun for bounties and replays of the game where you would enjoy moving at a faster pace
