The Red Strings Club Guide

Red Strings Club Full Guide + Walkthrough for The Red Strings Club

Red Strings Club Full Guide + Walkthrough

Overview

A comprehensive guide that will walk you through the game as efficiently and as spoiler-free as possible. Includes info on how to get all achievements in the minimum number of playthroughs.

Guide Overview

WARNING!: Although I designed this guide to be as spoiler-free as possible, there are a few key plot points I couldn’t avoid talking about. Read at your own risk.

Why I made this guide

The Red Strings Club is overall a fantastic game. It’s smart and stylish, and its characters are unique and surprisingly human. However, as much fun as I had playing through the game, one thing I noticed immediately was its rather aggressive autosave system.

Although autosaves in game are usually appreciated, since the game autosaves after every major decision, and doesn’t allow you to reload old saves, you can easily get trapped into your choices. While not inherently a bad thing, because of this system it can be difficult to get some of the achievements through trial-and-error, because one small mistake can require you to reset your whole game. Personally, getting all the achievements in this game took me 10 resets and about 10 hours.

So, to save others from my pain, I decided to make this comprehensive guide.

Using the guide

Because many of this game’s achievements have very specific criteria, I recommend following this guide closely to insure you can unlock them all. If this isn’t your first playthrough, you may still want to be cautious, as even making one mistake can lock you out of achievements you might otherwise qualify for. If you want to quickly check if you’re on track to unlock any of the achievements, feel free to check the Achievements section near the end of the guide at any time.

Please note that slight variations on the choices I make may still lead to unlocking the same outcomes. I simply wanted to provide a path that would explore all necessary dialogue to get the achievements. If you found another way to obtain the same information or dialogue, fantastic. But if you were having trouble like I was, this is the guide for you.

Playthrough Stats

Expected playtime: 6 hours
Expected speedrun playtime: 30 minutes
Minimum playthroughs to unlock all achievements: 2

Intro

Opening Sequence

Read through the intro scene with Brandeis, then the opening bar scene with Brandeis and Donovan.

Brandeis will ask for a drink, and you will be introduced to the bartending minigame.

In the first bartending minigame, feel free to mess around and get familiar with the system. However, be sure not to hit “serve” until you are ready to proceed. Click Donovan’s notebook in the bottom right corner to get view objectives, facts/intel, and drink recipes.

Clicking the image sticking out of the bottom of the notebook will pull up a picture of Donovan and Brandeis, and unlock the That doesn’t sound unprofessional to me. Achievement.

That doesn’t sound unprofessional to me. Discover the photo.

When you’re ready to proceed, make whatever drink you like (Anxiety, Pride, or Regret), and click “serve.” Your choice will change the following dialogue, but has no effect on the story.

Read through the conversation between Brandeis and Donovan. You will shortly be interrupted by a visitor.

Supercontinent Ltd Clinic

After talking with the bar’s visitor, you will find yourself in the Supercontinent Ltd Clinic. Feel free to explore your surroundings. When you are ready to proceed, click on the door to the left and click “yes.” In this sequence, you will be helping clients by giving them implants based on their needs.

Exploring the transhumanist wiki (the blue monitor) will show you all of the implants you can craft. There should be 7 implants available to you: the enchantress, the vizier, the godmother, the prince, the temple, the frog, and the husk. You can craft an implant by selecting it from the wiki and then making it on the pottery wheel.

**You will want to craft all 7 of these implants before helping your clients to get the Creative Sentience Achievement. More information can be found below.

Read each of the first three client’s needs and select an implant that you think will best help them. Craft and install the implant that you believe will best solve their problem. There is only one correct implant for each client. Answers:

Camdyn Lashawn (Cosplayer) – The Temple
Martin G. Witts (Entrepreneur) – The Frog
Viktor Atomnoye (Digital Media Scholar) – The Husk

After installing the correct implants in the first 3 clients, you will be assigned to help 3 more. However, before you can install any modules, you will receive a visitor. Talking to this visitor will unlock 3 new implants

In order to get the Creative Sentience Achievement, you will need to craft the first 7 implants, and then the next 3 you unlock after speaking with your visitor (the Punk, the Hippie, and the Grandpa). After crafting these 10 implants, the achievement will unlock.

Creative Sentience Craft all the implants with Akara.

After crafting your implants, feel free to speak more with your visitor. Then, when you’re ready, install the new modules into your remaining clients.

In order to have the easiest time getting the other achievements, I suggest installing these implants:

Adrian Ferguson (CFO at Supercontinent Ltd) – The Hippie
Johanna Sephtis (COO at Supercontinent Ltd) – The Grandpa

After you have finished installing your clients’ implants, you will start a conversation with your visitor. When the conversation concludes, you will find yourself back in the bar.

Back at the Bar

Read through the following conversation between Brandeis, Donovan, and Akara. When Brandeis leaves, the bar will begin taking customers, and you will begin your role as bartender/information broker.

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT NOTE: In order to get the maximum amount of information out of customers, you will need to choose your drinks and your words carefully. This includes not only asking the right questions, but asking in the right order. Failure to do so will cause you to miss certain dialogue, and (due to the game’s aggressive autosave system) will force you to reset your game if the dialogue was required for an achievement. Pay VERY close attention to this guide to unlock the correct dialogue.

Client 1: Diana Meyes

The bar’s first customer will be Diana Meyes, Consultant Engineer at Supercontinent Ltd.

As Diana enters the bar, Akara will greet her by name. When Diana questions how Akara knew her name, feel free to choose any excuse, as Diana will always accept it.

Read through the conversation between Diana and Donovan. Eventually, Donovan will offer to make Diana a drink. When she accepts, you will be taken to the bartending minigame.

You will want to begin by making Diana a glass of Sympathy. Mix calmly and carefully and you will also be able to pick up the Numen Achievement here.

Numen Serve a cocktail without spilling a single drop.

After serving Diana her drink, you will want to choose “(Feign worry about Brandeis’ personality issues).” This will lead to her explaining her work. You can choose to either play dumb or cut to the chase, both options lead to the same general dialogue.

Back at the main dialogue tree, you will want to choose “Tell me more about Social Psych Welfare.” Diana will explain the basics, and then you will be prompted to ask for more information.

Begin by choosing “Won’t SPW make you stop being you?” When Diana contests you, say “I wouldn’t like to lose my sadness.” This will cause Diana to doubt her work, which will be important later in the story.

Next, choose “Don’t you think it’s all a bit unnatural?” When Diana contests you, say “This isn’t progress, this is devolution.” This will again cause Diana to doubt her work, which will be important later in the story.

You can explore the other options “Isn’t SPW going to affect creativity?” and “Doesn’t this sound like mind control?” if you wish, but they do not unlock any unique dialogue.

When you are finished, choose “I’ve had enough SPW for today.” to return to the main dialogue tree. Exploring this dialogue will answer the question “What is Social Psyche Welfare?” in your notebook. This is one of the 7 questions you will need to answer to eventually get the Information Broker Achievement.

Back at the main dialogue tree, you will want to choose “Tell me about Ariadne’s death.” When Diana asks what you want to know, choose “What was she doing there?” When you two speculate about her intentions, ask “Does it have something to do with Akara?”

This will lead to Diana mentioning Dr. Edgar Coldstream. This information is required to unlock the Consultant Engineer, Player Ex Machina, and Pink Tequila Achievements. Although you can learn about Edgar from other clients, you MUST learn about him from Diana to unlock these three achievements.

Back at the main dialogue tree, ask “What have you been working on lately?” This will not unlock any new information, and you will be returned back to the main dialogue tree.

Finally, ask “What Information do you want from me?” Diana will express concern about Supercontient Ltd’s new CEO. This will unlock a new objective “Who is Supercontinent’s new CEO?” and a new question to ask Diana “Why do you want to know about Supercontinent’s CEO?” BEFORE choosing this option, serve Diana a glass of Fear. Then choose this question.

Serving Diana a glass of fear first will reveal that Diana is afraid of Supercontinent Ltd. When Diana mentions that Supercontinent will achieve their goals “AT ANY COST,” feel free to choose any of Donovan’s three follow-up questions, as none unlock vital dialogue.

This will conclude your conversation with Diana. After some parting words, Diana will leave the bar, leaving Donovan and Akara alone.

Read through the conversation between Donovan and Akara. During this conversation, Akara will propose that they play a game. When Donovan accepts, Akara will quiz him about Diana. The questions and answers to Akara’s quiz can be found below:

1) Is Diana physically attracted to you?
Yes

2) Is Diana 100% loyal to Supercontinent Ltd?
No

3) Is she proud of Social Psyche Welfare?
Yes

4) Would Diana be happier without the effects of SPW?
No

5) Does Diana know about the Mirror Neuron Algorithm?
No

6) Who is the person Diana most admires?
Dr. Edgar Coldstream (This option only appears under to conditions that you serve Diana a glass of sympathy, ask what Ariadne was doing at Supercontient Ltd, and ask if it has something to do with Akara)

7) What spirit does Diana enjoy the most?
Bourbon

8) Did Diana lie during your conversation?
I don’t think so

9) What is Diana’s greatest fear right now?
Supercontinent Ltd.

10) Is SPW as bad as you thought?
Choose whatever you want

Answering all 10 questions correct will unlock the Consultant Engineer Achievement.

Consultant Engineer Got a perfect score on Akara’s quiz about Diana Meyes.

Getting above a 7 out of 10 on the quiz will also lead to Donovan being rewarded with an amnesia pill which he can use on clients. This will be useful a little later.

After wrapping up their conversation about the amnesia drug, Akara will inform Donovan of another client approaching the bar.

Client 2: Naima Cosse

The bar’s second customer will be Naima Cosse, a corporate lawyer at Supercontinent Ltd.

As Naima sits at the bar, she and Donovan will engage in brief conversation and introductions. She will then launch into three questions about Diana Meyes, your previous client. You will want to answer in ways which protect Diana, as she will be important later in the story.

When Naima asks “What was Diana Meyes’ business here?” select “She’s an old friend.” When Naima asks what PROXYMA has on Supercontinent Ltd, select “(Lie.) PROXYMA knows about your new CEO.” If you’re following this guide, when she asks her last question “Where is Johanna Sephtis?”, Donovan will answer that he doesn’t know who that is, and Naima will inform him.

Eventually, Donovan will offer to make Naima a drink. When she accepts, you will be taken to the bartending minigame.

You will want to begin by mixing Naima a glass of Ambition. In the following dialogue tree, choose “Tell me more about Social Psyche Welfare’s legality.”

Exploring this dialogue will answer the question “Is this legal? Is the government aware of this?” in your notebook. This is second of the 7 questions you will need to answer to eventually get the Information Broker Achievement.

Next, you will want to mix Naima another drink. This time, you will want to mix her a glass of Stress. Then, ask her “Have you ever met Dr. Edgar Coldstream?” This dialogue option will only appear if you learned about Edgar during your discussion with Diana. After a brief conversation with Naima, select “I know he’s working on Project Akara.”

After Naima tells you some basic information about him, ask “Can’t you tell me something more personal?” She will then tell you that Pink Tequila has extreme effects on Edgar. This information is required to unlock the Pink Tequila Achievement.

You will now want to mix Naima another drink. This time, you will want to mix her a glass of Stress with the amnesia pill in it.

Back at the main dialogue tree, ask again “Have you ever met Doctor Edgar Coldstream?” After a brief conversation with Naima, again select “I know he’s working on Project Akara.” This time, ask “Can I meet him?” Naima will agree to tell Edgar that you want to meet with him. This is the first of three times you need to contact Edgar to get the Player Ex Machina Achievement.

Back at the main dialogue tree, you will want to choose “(Bluff) Why didn’t the CEO tell me about you?” Naima will believe your bluff, and unintentionally give you some information about the new Supercontinent CEO. This information is required to eventually unlock both the Information Broker and Did My Homework Achievements.

Back at the main dialogue tree feel free to ask about whatever you’d like for your last question. Personally I like to ask “What’s the deal with Johanna Sephtis?” and follow up with “Why do you think she’s missing?” This will lead to Donovan getting a lead about Johanna Sephtis.

This will conclude your conversation with Naima. After some parting words, Naima will leave the bar, and Donovan and Akara will be alone once again.

After a brief conversation, Akara will quiz Donovan about Naima. The questions and answers to Akara’s quiz can be found below:

1) Is Naima Cosse a psychopath?
No

2) What is her top priority right now?
To find Johanna Sephtis

3) Is SPW in jeopardy?
Yes

4) Does Naima know about the MNA?
No

5) Does Naima perceive you as a threat?
Yes

6) Is Naima capable of betraying Supercontinent?
No

7) Is she capable of covering murder for her employer?
Yes

8) Is she capable of committing murder for her employer?
No

9) Does Naima believe SPW is a good thing?
No

10) Do you think technology manufacturers have the right to alter their products after sale?
Choose whatever you want

Answering all 10 questions correct will unlock the Corporate Lawyer Achievement.

Corporate Lawyer Got a perfect score on Akara’s quiz about Naima Cosse.

Getting above a 7 out of 10 on the quiz will also lead to Donovan being rewarded with an amnesia pill which he can use on clients. This will be useful a little later.

Shortly after being rewarded the drug, Donovan will close the bar for the night.

The Funeral

After Donovan closes the bar for the night, a scene will start with Brandeis and PROXYMA agents on the shipping docks. There, they perform Ariadne’s last rites by dividing up parts of her personality among them. After the others choose their pieces, Brandeis will be left to choose between her Knowledge and Determination.

There is one achievement linked to taking Ariadne’s Knowledge, and another linked to taking Ariadne’s Determination. It is thus necessary to do a minimum of two playthroughs to unlock both achievements. For the playthrough outlined in this guide, I would recommend taking her Knowledge.

Shortly after making your choice, Brandeis will call Donovan. After a brief conversation, Donovan will ask Brandeis to do him a favor. For the favor, select “Look for the Director of the MNA.” This will cause Brandeis to investigate Edgar Coldstream, and tell Edgar that Donovan wants to meet. This is the second of three times you need to contact Edgar to get the Player Ex Machina Achievement.

Gost Visit #1

After concluding his call with Brandeis, Donovan will receive a visit from Gost. Gost and Donovan will engage in a brief conversation, after which you will return to the bartending minigame. Here you will be introduced to the shaker, a new bartending tool.

Although you can technically get the Numen Achievement at any point you mix drinks, I recommend you aim to get it before you proceed any farther than this point. After the introduction of the shaker, bartending only gets more complicated, and it becomes more difficult to mix drinks without spilling or needing to pour out some liquid.

After taking his drink, Gost will offer Donovan a favor, to which Donovan responds that he wants more certain rare spirits. Gost promises to return with them, and leaves.

Donovan and Akara will have a brief conversation about Gost after his departure. Shortly after, Akara will inform Donovan of another client approaching the bar.

Client 3: Larissa Robillard

The bar’s third official customer will be Larissa Robillard, Marketing Director at Supercontinent Ltd.

After a brief conversation, Larissa will ask Donovan to serve her a drink. This will return you to the bartending minigame.

Begin by making Larissa a glass of Lust. Then choose the option asking if she has “Any marketing ideas for the Akara androids?” This will lead to her mentioning Edgar Coldstream, and promising to tell Edgar that you want to meet. This is the third of three times you need to contact Edgar to get the Player Ex Machina Achievement. However, the achievement itself will not unlock until you actually meet him later on.

Back in the bartending minigame, make Larissa a glass of Euphoria. Then in the dialogue tree, ask “How are you going to convince people to swallow SPW? And when?”

Exploring this dialogue will answer the question “When do they plan to execute this?” in your notebook. This is third of the 7 questions you will need to answer to eventually get the Information Broker Achievement.

Next make Larissa a glass of Madness, then ask “Are you aware of the ‘Johanna Sephtis’ situation?” In her state of madness Larissa won’t give you much relevant information, but if you followed this guide you should have already gathered enough information about Johanna earlier.

Finally make Larissa a glass of Depression, then ask “Have you met Supercontinent’s new CEO?” Again, she won’t give you much useful information, but you should be able to learn more about the CEO later on.

This will conclude your conversation with Larissa. After some parting words, Larissa will leave the bar, again leaving Donovan and Akara alone.

After a brief conversation, Akara will quiz Donovan about Larissa. The questions and answers to Akara’s quiz can be found below:

1) What is Larissa’s greatest passion?
Marketing

2) Does Larissa wear implants?
No

3) Does Larissa like Johanna Sephtis?
Yes

4) Does Larissa agree with Social Psyche Welfare?
She doesn’t give a ♥♥♥♥

5) Who is Larissa most loyal to?
Herself

6) What is Larissa’s predominant state?
Lust

7) What spirit does Larissa enjoy the most?
Tequila

8) Is Larissa a compassionate person?
Yes

9) Would she be upset if you managed to stop SPW, and why?
Yes, but only because the marketing campaign would be ruined

10) Is marketing inherently evil?
Choose whatever you want

Answering all 10 questions correct will unlock the Marketing Director Achievement.

Marketing Director Got a perfect score on Akara’s quiz about Larissa Robillard.

Rather than rewarding you with another pill, getting above a 7 out of 10 on the quiz will result in Akara leading a special client to the bar. This client (Irving) is required for the Underage Drinking and Brought a cocktail to a gun fight Achievements.

Client 4: Irving

If you pass Akara’s quiz about Larissa, Irving will then enter the bar. After a brief conversation about what brought him there, he will request that you make him a drink.

I recommend making him a glass of Zen, which is made with only ice. Afterwards, feel free to explore his dialogue trees in which he talks about his job.

Once you have explored all possible dialogue with him, Irving will ask you to guess his age. In order to get the Underage Drinking Achievement, you will need to correctly guess his age: 19.

Underage Drinking Guessed Irving’s age.

After guessing his age, Irving will challenge you to a game. In order to get the Brought a cocktail to a gun fight Achievement, you will need to win the game by choosing the last option every time you are prompted, allowing Irving to shoot Donovan.

Brought a cocktail to a gun fight Win the game of Russian Roulette.

If you win the game, Irving will then offer to torture someone on your behalf. As this is unnecessary, and getting the ending achievements is easiest if everyone is alive and happy, decline his offer by selecting “You know, torturing people isn’t cool.”

Shortly after, Irving will depart.

Gost Visit #2

Once Irving (or Larissa, if you failed Akara’s quiz) leaves, Gost will then return to the bar with the spirits Donovan requested. Feel free to choose any of the three questions Donovan asks about Gost, as none lead to any clear information.

Gost will then ask you to fix him a drink, and you are given the option to comply or refuse. Mixing Gost’s drink only serves as practice to get used to the new ingredients, and refusing has no consequences. Choose whichever option you would prefer.

Shortly after, Akara will inform Donovan of another client approaching the club. Gost will then disappear.

Client 5: Edgar Coldstream

IMPORTANT NOTE: Your conversation with Edgar is EXTREMELY important to unlocking the final achievements of the game. If you do not ask your questions in the correct order, you will not be able to unlock all the achievements, and will be forced to reset. DO NOT vary the order of the questions and drinks outlined in this section if you want all the achievements. The only exception is if you have already obtained the Pink Tequila achievement on a previous playthrough, you may skip that section.

If you managed to contact Edgar through Naima, Brandeis, or Larissa, he will enter the bar as your 5th client. If you managed to contact Edgar through all three sources, he will say so, and you will unlock the Player Ex Machina Achievement.

Player Ex Machina Contact Dr. Edgar Coldstream through three different people.

After introductions, Edgar will ask Akara to join you in conversation. He will then ask you your opinion about Akara. Choose whichever option you wish.

Donovan and Edgar will then engage in brief conversation. After which, you will be taken to the bartending minigame. You will want to begin by mixing him a Pink Tequila.

If you learned about Pink Tequila from Naima, it will appear as the rightmost Soul Node under the title “Schizophrenia.” However, since Edgar requested that you don’t use any Tequila in his drink, the drink which shifts the Soul Disk to the right (the yellow one) will not be available. To mix this drink, explore the drink tab in Donovan’s notebook to learn about the secret effects of mixing Red Secret and Blue Whisper. With this knowledge, you can then make Pink Tequila by mixing Red Secret, Blue Whisper, and Absinthe (the green drink).

*Note: There is a chance the drink you mix using this method will not actually turn out pink. This will not affect your ability to get the achievement.

If you need a visual reference, this video will show you how to mix the drink.
(Credit to D One on YouTube for providing the video)

Serving a Pink Tequila to Edgar and watching his reaction will then reward you with the Pink Tequila Achievement.

Pink Tequila Triggered Edgar’s secret mood.

After the effects of Pink Tequila wear off, Edgar will ask you to make him another drink. You will want to mix him a glass of Vanity. In the following dialogue tree, begin by asking him “Any thoughts on Supercontinent’s new direction?” Then, follow up by asking “How surreal are we talking?”

Exploring this dialogue will answer the question “Why is Supercontinent doing this?” in your notebook. This is fourth of the 7 questions you will need to answer to eventually get the Information Broker Achievement.

You will then want to mix Edgar another drink. Make him another glass of Vanity, but this time add the amnesia pill Again choose the option “Any thoughts on Supercontinent’s new direction?” However, this time follow up by asking “Is Radhika that crazy?” The question will only show up if you learned about Radhika by bluffing to Naima about knowing the CEO.

Exploring this dialogue will answer the question “Who is Supercontinent’s CEO?” in your notebook. This is fifth of the 7 questions you will need to answer to eventually get the Information Broker Achievement.

Back at the main dialogue tree, tell Edgar “I’m dying to know more about MNA.” Feel free to explore the other questions Donovan has about the MNA, as they unlock new facts about Akara and the MNA. After exploring, select “Ok, I’ve heard enough.” To return to the main tree.

Exploring this dialogue will answer the question “What is the Mirror Neuron Algorithm?” in your notebook. This is sixth of the 7 questions you will need to answer to eventually get the Information Broker Achievement.

Finally, ask Edgar if he has “Any plans for Akara besides pottery?” Then follow up by asking “How do Akara and the MNA fit together?” Feel free to explore Donovan’s protests about the MNA, as none seem to change Edgar’s mind. When you’re ready to proceed, select “Can we skip to where you tell me about Akara?”

Exploring this dialogue will answer the question “What role does Akara play in all this?” in your notebook. This is seventh of the 7 questions you will need to answer to eventually get the Information Broker Achievement.

After finishing their discussion on Akara and the MNA, the conversation and scene will end. If you have answered all 7 objectives in Donovan’s notebook, the Information Broker Achievement will then unlock.

Information Broker Complete all the objectives of Donovan’s notebook.

The Bridge

After finishing your conversation with Edgar, you will find yourself with Brandeis and Johanna on a city bridge. Since Johanna is important in getting some of the later achievements, your goal is to prevent her from jumping.

This is another scene that requires two playthroughs to get all of the achievements. More information about what do during this scene in your second playthrough can be found in the “Second Playthrough” section further down this guide.

For now, I will focus on the achievements you can get if you have been following along with the guide.

If you asked Brandeis to look for the director of the MNA as your favor for Donovan, and took Ariadne’s Knowledge, your options should be “Dialogue, Step Forward, Step Back, or Explain what’s going on with her implant’s (Use Ariadne’s Knowledge).” Begin by selecting “Explain what’s going on with her implant’s (Use Ariadne’s Knowledge).” This will unlock the Digital Heir Achievement.

Digital Heir Share your knowledge on PROXYMA implants with Johanna.

After a brief conversation about what is wrong with Johanna’s implants, you will be returned to the main dialogue tree. Your options are now only “Dialogue, Step Forward, and Step Back.” You will want to choose Step Forward.

Brandeis will note that you are now losing Johanna a little. You will then want to select Dialogue. In the following dialogue, you will want to choose “Your life could use a new direction then.” This will calm her down. You will then want to choose Step Forward.

Brandeis will again note that you are now losing Johanna a little. You will then want to select Dialogue. This dialogue will succeed automatically. You will then want to choose Step Forward.

Once again, Brandeis will again note that you are now losing Johanna a little. You will then want to select Dialogue. In the following dialogue, you will want to choose “I’m a hero.” This will calm her down. You will then want to choose Step Forward.

Brandeis will again note that you are now losing Johanna a little. You will then want to select Dialogue. In the following dialogue, you will want to choose “Bah, you give yourself too much credit” This will calm her down. You will then want to choose Step Forward.

By this point you should be close enough to Johanna that she is mostly calmed down. You will be able to tell if she says the dialogue “Brandeis… I think I’m in love with you.” However, you’re not done yet. In a final dialogue tree, you will want to select “No. Come with me.” Doing so will successfully calm Johanna down and keep her alive.

Note: These dialogue options will only succeed in calming Johanna down if you chose to install “the grandpa” implant in her. If you chose to install “the hippie,” it may require slightly different dialogue to calm her down. Installing “the punk” leads to a different outcome altogether.

The Bar

After concluding the scene with Johanna and Brandeis on the bridge, you will find yourself back in the bar. There, Donovan and Akara will talk briefly. When Akara asks Donovan what makes him uneasy about the MNA, feel free to choose any option you like. Akara will then ask a few follow-up questions about how Donovan would ideally like them to implement Social Psyche Welfare. Feel free to answer however you like.

Shortly after answering these questions, Donovan and Johanna (if she is alive) will join you at the bar. The group will then discuss everything they know about Supercontinent Ltd, and make a plan to infiltrate their base. During this conversation Akara will offer a voice sample of one of the clients who visited the bar. Although you will eventually be obtaining all of the voices for the Digital Ventriloquist Achievement, I recommend asking for Larissa’s voice.

After you make your choice, you will begin the final sequence of the game.

The Office

It is at this point you will begin the final sequence of the game, and by far the most tedious section. I will do my best to summarize the actions you need to take as briefly as possible, but it will still require quite a bit of work.

Most of what you will be doing during this section is calling different numbers and impersonating different people you have met during the course of the story. Your main goals will be to obtain 7 voices for the VOMOD as part of the Digital Ventriloquist Achievement, and to find out how to shut down Social Psyche Welfare.

The first thing you will want to do is look around the office and interact with everything you can. In doing so you should unlock the number for Karen from HR, and learn how to access the room’s computer. Feel free to pull up the computer immediately using this information (Call 777-777-777 to access the office computer).

You can also get two achievements immediately by calling certain numbers on the office phone.

To get the Basic Input/Output System Achievement, call 555-292-257. Then, you will witness the bane of achievement hunters and guide-makers everywhere.

Basic Input/Output System Access the secret Web of Chaos.

To get the Honey pot Achievement, call 987-654-321. To prevent any problems getting the other achievements, use Brandeis’ voice when answering the call in order to clear Edgar’s name.

Honey pot Triggered Edgar’s self-destruction mechanism.

Now begins the long and arduous process of collecting voices for the VOMOD and finding out how to shut down Social Psyche Welfare. If you followed this guide, you should already have 3 out of 7 voices for the VOMOD: Johanna’s, Larissa’s, and Brandeis’. I will explain how to get the rest in the following paragraphs.

Getting Adrian’s voice:

To begin, try to connect to the computer you unlocked earlier using information from the office (calling 777-777-777). You will quickly discover you don’t have the password. To find out the password, you will want to first call HR using Johanna’s voice, and ask for Adrian Ferguson’s number. After receiving his number, you will want to call Adrian Ferguson using Johanna’s voice and ask for the password to his computer. He will give it to you, however when you click on the computer to try to use it, you will discover it does not work. Call Adrian Ferguson back using Johanna’s voice and inform him that the password doesn’t work. If you installed “the Hippie” implant into Adrian during the intro, he will immediately trust you with his medical ID. Contact Donovan using any voice, give him Adrian’s medical Id, and Donovan should be able to get you Adrian’s voice. You should now have 4 out of the 7 voices for the VOMOD.

Accessing the computer:

Next, using Adrian’s voice, you will want to call HR and tell Karen that you can’t access your computer. This will lead to her giving you the number of Francis Cocanette, the CTO. Then call Francis using Adrian’s voice and tell him you can’t access your computer. He should give you the new computer password. Click on the computer, and select the new password that appears. You should now have access to the computer.

Getting Diana’s voice

Inside the computer, click on Adrian Ferguson’s profile to learn his concerns about the company. This will unlock an optional sabotage opportunity you may exploit later if you wish. Then click on Diana Meyes’ account to learn Diana’s phone number, medical id, and her failsafe shutdown program for the MNA. Contact Donovan using any voice, give him Diana’s medical Id, and Donovan should be able to get you Diana’s voice. You should now have 5 out of the 7 voices for the VOMOD.

Gathering more information

Returning to the computer, click on Naima Cosse’s profile to learn her phone number, and that she had her implants installed at a private clinic. You will need this information to access her voice a bit later. Then, click on Larissa Robillard’s profile to learn her phone number and her concerns about the company. This will unlock an optional sabotage opportunity you may exploit later if you wish. Next, click on Karen from HR’s profile. You will learn that Karen’s profile looks strange, but you will not be able to discern any concrete information.

Getting Naima’s Voice

To get Naima’s voice, you will need to know where she got her implants from. Call Naima using Johanna’s voice, and ask her exactly that. She will tell you, and you will then be able to access her medical id. Contact Donovan using any voice, give him Naima’s medical Id, and Donovan should be able to get you Naima’s voice. You should now have 6 out of the 7 voices for the VOMOD.

Accessing Edgar’s Profile and Voice

Click on Edgar’s protected account and request access. You will learn that you need to know the Number of existing Akara’s + Larissa’s last name. To begin, call HR using Johanna’s voice to learn Edgar’s phone number. Then, call Edgar using Larissa’s voice to learn the number of Akara units (256). You can learn Larissa’s previous name by calling Naima using Johanna’s voice. After brief discussion, she will tell you the name “Daniel.”. Combining this information, you can discover that Edgar’s security code is 256-326-435. Call this number to unlock Edgar’s profile. Click on Edgar’s profile to learn his medical id. Contact Donovan using any voice, give him Edgar’s medical Id, and Donovan should be able to get you Edgar’s voice. You should now have 7 out of the 7 voices for the VOMOD. This will then unlock the Digital Ventriloquist Achievement.

Digital Ventriloquist Get 7 voices for the VOMOD.

Sabotage Opportunities (Optional)

While gathering this information, you should also learn about several optional methods you can choose to sabotage the company. These don’t impact the story, so only choose them if you wish.

Fire every engineer on payroll – Using Johanna’s voice, call Naima and request this option.
Sell half the company’s shares – Using Adrian’s voice, call Naima and request this option.
Cancel all trademarks –Using Larissa’s voice, call Naima and request this option.
Share all papers regarding SPW with the scientific community – Using Edgar’s voice, call Naima and request this option.

Uploading the Virus – Do this last

Call Francis as Johanna to learn that you will need to obtain Francis’ support and the CEO’s biometric profile in order to install Diana’s virus. If you made Diana doubt her work during her visit to the bar, you can call her to learn the same information. Call Francis as Edgar to gain his support, and he will tell you that the number for accessing SRAID is all 0s and the office number. This number is 000-000-056. Calling this number will lower the SRAID from the ceiling and allow you access. Finally, contact Donovan using any voice and ask him to compile information on the new CEO Radhika. If you followed this guide, (and specifically got the Information Broker achievement) you should have collected enough information on Radhika that Donovan can instantly complete a working profile for her. Doing so will unlock the Did my homework Achievement.

Did my homework Complete Radhika’s profiling instantly because of Donovan’s intel.

Ending

Return to the computer after completing Radhika’s profile. Select the option to compile Diana’s failsafe.

All that’s left to do is upload the virus to SRAID. Before you do, double check that you have all the achievements you want to unlock while in the office. Additionally, if you wanted to initiate any of the Sabotage options, now is the time to do so. Once you have assured you have done everything you need to, click on the SRAID and select Let’s do this.

Before you can finish the upload, you will be interrupted by a call on the office phone. Ignore the call, as this is an option that you will explore for an achievement in your second playthrough.

Brandeis will then upload the virus. However, before he can celebrate, he will receive a visitor. Explore any dialogue options you want while talking to the visitor.

In the following scene with Donovan, likewise feel free to explore any dialogue you wish.

In the final scene, choose any dialogue you wish. Completing this final scene will unlock The Red Strings Club achievement.

Second Playthrough

Getting the final two achievements, Brainwashing and I’ll never walk alone, will require a second playthrough.

Because you have already obtained most of the achievements, the requirements for this playthrough will be a lot less strict. As such, you will be a lot more free to explore other dialogue options besides what was outlined in the guide. However, in order to get these last two achievements, there are a few things you will want to be certain of:

  • When choosing an implant to install in Johanna during the intro sequence with Akara, make sure you choose to install “The Hippie,” and NOT “The Punk” or “The Grandpa.” Choosing either of these options will cause her to be unaffected by your calming implants later in the playthrough. (Thanks to Orome for pointing this out)
  • During Ariadne’s funeral, have Brandeis choose to take Ariadne’s determination.
  • During Donovan and Brandeis’ call after Ariadne’s funeral, you will want to tell Brandeis to Find the COO, Johanna Sephtis.

You will be able to unlock the Brainwashing Achievement during the bridge scene with Johanna and Brandeis. Knowing about her personality issues, Brandeis will have prepared for the confrontation by giving himself an implant that can calm people around him. This will appear amongst the other dialogue options “Dialogue, Step Forward, Step Back” as “Chill Pulse (100% loaded).” Select this option once during your conversation with Johanna to get the Brainwashing achievement.

Brainwashing Made Johanna chill with anti-depressant scripts.

You will be able to unlock the I’ll never walk alone achievement during the final office scene with Brandeis. When you receive the mysterious phone call, pick it up this time, and DO NOT hang up. When Brandeis begins to lose his composure, select “Use Ariadne’s Determination” to overcome the effect. Selecting this option will unlock the I’ll never walk alone achievement.

I’ll never walk alone Recovered your composure thanks to Ariadne.
