Bloons TD Battles Guide

My Fave Strategies for every stage in the game for Bloons TD Battles

My Fave Strategies for every stage in the game

Overview

Hello! This Guide is for those of you who are struggling, and don’t know what to use. In this guide, I will tell you (and name) My favorite Strategies for every stage of the game! This will also tell you when to place them, and what upgrades you should get for them.

Starting out

BEFORE READING, to unlock towers and get upgrades, you must play against people that are NOT in the Play With Friends Game Mode. you need medallions to buy the towers and upgrades, which you get from playing people who aren’t in the Play With Friends Game Mode.

Starting out, you are given 5 different towers: Dart monkey, Tack shooter, Sniper Monkey, Ninja monkey, and Bomb Tower. Here is my selection for the Start of the Game:

Spot 1: Ninja Monkey
Spot 2: Bomb Tower
Spot 3: Dart Monkey

I call this strategy: Explosive Start

The reason I select these towers in particular is because, Ninja Monkeys not only Pop Camo without a single upgrade, but also it’s upgrades are cheap and good. Bomb towers Pop Lead. thats kind of all
Dart Monkeys are cheap and powerful

Weaknesses of this strategy are:
Ceramic Bloons, as they need several hits to pop, and none give that in enough time.
Camo Leads, as the only tower in this strategy that can pop lead is a bomb tower, but bomb towers can NOT pop Camo. your best bet here is to use your track ability.
M.O.A.B class bloons (MOAB, BFB, ZOMG), as these bloons are basically ceramics but SO MUCH TOUGHER. when you have a MOAB sent to you, ALL-OUT your opponent, selling all your towers and sending the toughest bloons you can.

When you start your game, you should probably Place down a Dart monkey / Ninja to start. If you chose to place a ninja monkey, try to get Both Tier 1 upgrades as fast as possible. the tier 2’s can wait. If you chose dart monkey, upgrade Sharp shots, and then razor sharp shots. ignore The others until round 12, as the first camo bloon comes by then.

NEXT STRATEGY!!!!

2/5 through the game

About now you should have your starting towers + Boomerang Monkey, Monkey Apprentice, and Spike Factory. The strategy for this stage is to use: Ninja Monkey, Monkey Apprentice, and the third is up to you.

I call this strategy: Magical Shurikens. (I use this even when i’ve unlocked every monkey, and very often too. *exept i use bannana farm as 3rd*)

Reason for Strategy:
Ninja Monkey: (same for explosive start)
Monkey Apprentice is basically a bomb tower, but can detect camo with an upgrade, can add and subtract certain attacks, and has a very powerful (yet expensive) tier 2 upgrade *just to be clear, when you get a tower, it starts out with tier 2 upgrades, meaning 2-2 upgrades for all towers yay*
which Creates a Very High peirce lightning bolt that hits a LOT of bloons and can pop Lead, but only pops 1 layer of bloon. (Im going to just call this monkey the “wizard monkey”.)
*Insert Monkey Here*: *insert reason here*

Weaknesses of Strategy:
(Slight Weakness) Black Bloons: Fireball can’t pop it, but that doesn’t mean you should not get it. Fireball leads to the upgrade that gives you Camo detection
(Slight Weakness) Camo Lead Bloons: If your Monkey Apprentice does not have The camo upgrade, Monkey Sense, then these are a problem. luckily the upgrade and the upgrade before it is cheap, so Camo Lead’s should not be much of a problem.
(Slight Weakness) MOAB class Bloons: You have better attack speed, yet not good enough if you have 2 of each Monkey.

You should place down your ninja monkey first by this point. you do the same here as you do in Explosive start. After that, buy a few more ninja monkeys and remember to send a few red bloons at wave 2. Next, when you see the first lead bloon, you are going to need to place your Wizard monkey, and upgrade him for: Intense magic, Fireball, and monkey sense. then once you have saved enough, buy the “Lightning bolt” upgrade. And the 3rd monkey? Idk you place it whenever you want.

Litteraly the rest of the game

By the time you’re in the middle of the game, you should have Bannana Farm, and by then you should choose 2 attackers and a Bannana Farm.

You should use Magical Shurikens, or A new strategy To you, Frozen Shurikens, which includes Ninja Monkey, Ice Monkey with tier 3 upgrades, and bannana farm. then with those 2 strategies you should be good.

Frozen shuriekens is weak to:
Camo leads, unless you Have flash bomb on your ninja monkey. (tier 3 upgrades)
MOABS: unless you have absolute zero or Bloonjitsu. Bloonjitsu lets ninja monkey throw 5 shureikens at a time. Absolute zero just stalls your impending doom.

At the start of the round, Place down your track ability, and then wait until you have enough for a bannana farm. after you get your bannana farm, ONLY GO MORE BANNANAS. If you have a bannana farmer, you wont need to worry about long life bannanas, unless you want your bannanas to be more valuable. anyway, after you buy your bannana farm, go for a Ice monkey and upgrade until you get snap freeze, because this allows your ice monkey to pop bloons.
After you do that and it looks like your ice monkey can’t hold off all the bloons, just place down a ninja monkey and upgrade him like this: 3-2. that means you should stop after buying Distraction, and then go for double shot on your ninja monkey. and once you have enough, you can get bloonjitsu. oh and also, don’t forget to get more farms! Also once you have enough, you should really buy Bannana Plantation.

(I honestly feel like i say “also” to much..)

Thanks for Reading! And have Fun Playing!

Hope you learned about how to play the game and use the Strategies. By the time you got all the monkeys, you can change up your loadout a bit, If you feel like you need a better strategy. but remember: the formula for a good Loadout is 2 Attackers, and 1 Supporter. Hope you learned from this! and especially to all you starters. Thanks for reading, and have fun Popping!
