How to Unlock All Castle Crashers Characters

This guide will show you how to unlock all the Castle Crashers characters! I am aware this guide is one of the many character guides, this guide has a simple and direct layout. This a guide for the Steam version of Castle Crashers, other platforms may be different in the ways you obtain some characters.

Orange Knight

Starter Character (Unlocked by Default)

Fire Demon

Complete the game with the Orange Knight character.

Ninja

Complete the game with the Fire Demon character.

Green Knight

Starter Character (Unlocked by Default)

Royal Guard

Complete the game with the Green Knight character.

Saracen

Complete the game with the Royal Guard character.

Blue Knight

Starter Character (Unlocked by Default)

Industrialist

Complete the game with the Blue Knight character.

Fencer

Complete the game with the Industrialist character.

Red Knight

Starter Character (Unlocked by Default)

Skeleton

Complete the game with the Red Knight character.

Bear

Complete the game with the Skeleton character.

Barbarian

Beat the King’s Arena.

Killer Beekeeper

Complete the game with the Barbarian character.

Thief

Beat the Thieve’s Arena.

Snakey

Complete the game with the Thief character.

Conehead

Beat the Volcano Arena.

Peasant

Beat the Peasant Arena.

Civilian

Complete the game with the Peasant character.

Iceskimo

Beat the Icy Arena.

Brute

Complete the game with the Iceskimo character.

Gray Knight

Defeat the Barbarian Boss.

Stove Face

Complete the game with the Gray Knight character.

Alien Hominid

Complete Alien Ship.

How to Enable Insane Mode

I have received a couple comments asking how to enable Insane Mode. It’s simple.

I. You must first have a character that has a white skull (A character you have completed the game with).
II. You should then see two new spaces in a hole below the Barbarian Boss level space.
III. The left space is to enable Insane Mode and the right space is the Insane Store. Enter the left space.

You can switch back to normal mode any time the same way.

Opened-Face Gray Knight

Defeat the Catfish on insane mode.

King

Complete Pipistrello’s Cave on insane mode.

Necromancer

Complete Industrial Castle on insane mode.

Cultist

Complete Ice Castle on insane mode.

HEADS UP!

Pink Knight

Purchase the Pink Knight Pack DLC.
