Overview
This guide will help you farm super elite kills if you are nearing the end of the game, but don’t have the achievement. Also, if you are only playing chapter 3 and want this achievement, this is probably one of the best ways to get it. Alternatively, you won’t need this if you are planning to do multiple playthroughs.
How to do it
Killing 50 Super Elites is maybe impossible with one play through. So if you are looking for a good place to farm them, the end of The Keep mission is one of the best. It’s a pretty easy checkpoint to manage as you have a machine gun mount with unlimited ammo to get you through it, 2 super elites and a steady flow of suicide bombers coming along to thin out the horde. If you complete it successfully, it should only take a little over a minute and you net 2 elites each go.
Basically, after you exit the castle and head back down the hill to the cable car you came in on, you have one final seige. Just mount the machine gun and bust some caps. When finished, reload your checkpoint and do it again until the achievement pops. It’s good to let the suicide bombers get fairly close in the beginning as they will clear the foreground in front of you, in the event that some stragglers avoided your assault. Toward the end, kill the suiciders near the elites to put them down faster.
