Overview
Resolution by default is very low at the release, as you might guess by large UI you basically have.This affects the gameplay, since you can’t see as much as you’re supposed to.I believe, most people have figured it out already, but still I feel the need to help the others in this case.
How to
Here we go, this will be a no-brainer.
1. Right click Crimsonland in Steam Library > Properties.
2. Local Files > Browse Local Files.
3. Backup the prod.xml file anywhere on a desktop, just to make sure it’s fine.
4. We need prod.xml to be edited here, it’s a configuration file.
You basically choose – Open with > Notepad.
5. I believe you can edit in in several ways, but the easiest is what I’ve used.
Put the desired resolution in a line:
reference_resolution=”your_resolution”
Here’s the list, just pick one: 1920×1080,1680×1050,1366×768,1360×768,1280×768,1280×800,1280×720,1024×768,1024×600,960×600,800×600,640×480
Then fix the line:
resolutions=”your_resolution“
Save it, and you’re done.
6. Start the game, and you should notice right away that resolution has changed.
