Having issues with the controller prompts not matching the actual buttons? This might help you!
Why is this happening?
As far as I can tell, from what I have tested, there is an issue with Steam overwriting the config on the controller. Running the configuration tool will allow you to enable the buttons to be shown in game – and when launched you can see the problem right away. Following this step fixed it for me!
The “Fix”
1.Go to your library and find the “Binary Domain” listing there.
2.Right click on the “Binary Domain” listing and select “Properties”
3.Now change the setting on “Steam input per game..” to “Forced Off”
You should now be golden! Worked for me and allowed the button prompts to match up to my actual controller inputs. Have fun!
