Overview
If you want a strategy on how to win war. Here’s a basic plan. I have 100% achievements.
The Strategy
Firstly, build a bunch of level 1 money-creators ($$$) near the beginning of your course and preferably on the edges. Level 3 & 2 makes the same max amount as level 1 but faster and more ecostly. Your opponent will have a tendency to stay in the middle of your course since it is safer. Only make level 3 money-creators since your space is very limited and you have a unit cap on money-creators.
After you generate some income, build some units towards the end of your course. The last stretch of land is generally where your oppponent builds up the most amount of momentum so this should be the first place you build on.
Here, you will place:
* A layer of 2-3 Level 3 Catapults on the end of your course. Leave open squares in between.
* A layer of 2-3 Level 3 elephants in between the catapults.
* A layer of 2-3 Level 3 Walls in front of the elephants.
* 1 Level 3 windblower behind the wall and in the middle blowing out towards the edges, or on tricky, windy corners.
* 1 Level 3 Air Unit covering that whole area.
Make sure there is no clear or easy way to get from one side to the other.
This is what I call an “area of pain.” You opponent will most likely waste time and health in this area.
If you can build more money-creators, do it until you max them out.
Don’t allow your opponent to get first roll. Be sure to break some of the environmental buildings and run over some people. This will give you money.
After you smash into your opponent’s wall, and your opponent is still alive, be sure to use level 3 point shots sparingly and only if they’re trapped up in one of your “pain areas.” This will increase your chances of hitting them. Fire your level 1 nonstop at them. Be sure to fire ahead of them. Take note of how many squares you have to lead by and adjust accordingly. If your opponent reaches the end, his rock may be heavily damaged.
If he’s not rolling and you have any remaining money left over, build all that stuff again, but in the center.
Places where your opponents have to slow down (like sharp turns) are ideal places to put up ranged units and for you to shoot at.
If your opponent is using this strategy, I guess it’s all up to who can fire their point shots more accurately and who can roll better and faster.
Your opponent should die in 3 hits.
