Overview
If you tried changing the video settings and you ended up with a black screen with just the sound, here’s how to fix that!
Intro
This guide will show you how to fix a black screen or 0x0 resolution issue.
WARNING:
You will be digging around in the computer’s registry. Do NOT do ANYTHING that isn’t directly stated in the guide. Otherwise you may irreversibly damage your computer. I am not responsible for any damage you might cause to your computer as a result of using this guide.
Uninstall the game
First of all, uninstall the game through steam, as you would any other game.
- Go into your Steam library.
- Right click Survivor Squad Gauntlets
- Manage…
- Uninstall
Delete the registry contents
- Open up your Start menu and type in regedit and hit enter.
- The registry editor will open up.
- Now you must find the directory:
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Endless Loop Studios/Survivor Squad Gauntlets
- Remove the entire Survivor Squad Gauntlets folder with all it’s subkeys from the registry.
Reinstall
After you deleted the registry folder, close regedit and reinstall Survivor Squad Gauntlets through Steam.
After it installs, you should be able to run it again.
