Spoiler Free Fhurst Peak Correctional Facility Guide

Overview

Some helpful tips to help you as you begin your sentencing within Fhurst Peak. Spoiler free!

Starting Out: The Basics!

Welcome to Fhusrt Peak!

Like many others before you, you want to escape, right? I hope you do. Otherwise this is going to be super boring!

So let’s go over the controls:

Movement is WASD(Duh)
You can click on the toolbar items on the right of the screen to use them.
You have a hammer icon for crafting, a profile icon to see your stats, and a load icon to go back to a day where you didn’t mess up so bad, maybe. Hopefully.

Now, as you explore your controls, you’ll notice the “Q” to recruit. I’ve had success recruiting someone if they had 85+ opinion of me. We’ll go over that in a bit. Don’t freak out if you can’t recruit people.

Our Goals

So our goals are going to be the following things:

1) Escape – and there are three main ways to do it:
a) Over the fence
b) Under the fence
c) Through the fence.

So start thinking about what you need. Explore, get crafting recipes, and do all that. Mess around and learn how far you can push the rules.

Now, as a prisoner, our priorities are:

1) Way to hide our contraband. Where won’t the guards look when they search our rooms? How can I safely move contraband?
2) Income to buy contraband. Where can I get some money to buy tools I need to succeed?
3) Physical/Intellectual strength. How can I get stronger and more cunning while I’m in prison?
4) Group approval. How can I make friends? How can I get them to help me in times of need?

Common-Sense Escapee Wisdom

So a few more things as you get started and into this.

1) Be observant – Who opens what doors? Where do guards frequent? Where do they never go?
2) Complete a Plan First – What do you need? Will you leave a trace? How will you cover your tracks? How much time do you need? Will you get tired? What happens if you’re caught?
3) Take your time – A slow and methodically planned escaped is often better than a rushed attempt, especially for a blind playthrough. If this is your first time, look at your escape options: Is it too good to be true?
4) Be bold – don’t be afraid to lie, cheat, and steal to survive and escape. You need to be the biggest baddest boy on the yard to survive.

Working Out and Reading Up

What stats mean:

Strength: Your HP is 1/2 your strength. Your strength controls melee damage (weapons help).

Speed: This is your attack speed. (Improper before, apologize for a late correction) I recommend that you focus on strength because of it’s double as damage and HP.

Intellect: This is how smart you are. Your intellect and materials determine what you can craft.

Opinion: Other opinion options appear only for other characters. This is something you can use to tell if someome likes you. Talk to people, give gifts, pull some strings for favors, and you can have a buddy come to your aid. (Press Q when the relationship is 85-90 and click on your friend. They will rally to you like riders of Rohan. Promise.)

All of these stats must be maintained. If you stop lifting and running, you get fat. Stop studying, you get rusty. Stop hanging with friends, and the relationship suffers. So you will need to be a good boy and actively take time and maintain what matters to you. Life is all about priorities.

Conclusion

Observe your surroundings. Make a plan. Get your materials. Get intel. Then, it’s time. Make your move. Get out.

I’ll update this with more musings, this is methodology for a blind playthrough that most new players will find helpful (this stuff helped me)

Thanks for reading, guys!
