Open the Map Editor
Launch the game and open the Map Editor.
Make a new prison
Name it whatever, have whatever amount of people.
Whatever whatever. Just make a new prison.
Start adding the essentials
There are specific things every jail NEEDS to have.
Start adding these.
Checking progress
In order to see what essentials you have left, check the validator GUI under the “Finalize” tab.
Export the map
Now it’s time to add your map to the game!
On the validator GUI under the “Finalize” tab, click the “export map” button.
Load up the map
Restart The Escapists.
Close out of the Map Editor and re-launch the game.
Play the map!
Hopefully you didn’t add walls.
