Overview
Had trouble with escaping Fhurst Peak Correctional? Here is a guide on how to help you with it! This guide is sorted in fights, tools, escape methods and miscellanious stuff. Have fun reading! Credit goes to Gunslinger for fixing and editing this guide (thanks man)
Differences from Center Perks
Fhurst (bad pun IK), there are 24 cells instead of 9. Second, the NPS have WAY better stats, about more than half.
Third, you gain way more heat than in CP (being busted in another guy’s cell gives you 50% heat instead of 10%) and the guards are way more likely to attack.
The fhurst day
You wake up in your cell, you get a notice by the warden bragging about his torture skills and you are ready for your first rollcall. Now, first gather 3 bed sheets to hang up on your bars. This is really important for later. Don’t take too long though, because missing rollcalls comes with a lockdown instead of some heat. Now here is the routine (if im right):
8:00: morning rollcall
9:00: breakfast
10:00 leisure/work
13:00 rollcall
14:00 freetime
16:00 dinner
17:00 exercise
18:00 shower
19:00 freetime
22:00 rollcall
23:00 lights out
The first things you should aim for are as much str and int as you can, a cushioned outfit (1 pillow, 1 outfit, 1 duct tape), a weapon with at least 2/5 weapon power, some vent cutting items and a fake vent cover (2 paper maches which paper mache=1 super glue+1 toilet paper). Also be sure to have some good friends to buy items from.
As for job, get the crafting recipe from your default janitor job and get 70 int to be a metalworker which has the best pay.
Fighting
The NPCs here have 50-70 strength so don’t even try to fight them with only 30 str. You should get the outfit and weapon you got at the fhurst (gah) day. For inmates, try the hit and run tactic because their weapons are usually not that good. As for guards, ONLY USE THE MOLTEN CHOCLATE (choclate bar, lighter, cup) to instastun them. Otherwise, leave them be. Once you get inmates with 90+ opinion, you can recruit them by pressing Q (even though it costs money) and they follow and fight alongside you.
Opinion
You can increase the opinions of all npc’s by left clicking them (which means talking to them) and just inmates by giving them items and completing favours (which will decrease opinion of some other inmates). The best items to give are weapons, guard outfits, medicine and food items. It’s best to decline beatdown/retrieval (unless it’s in a desk) and distraction favours in favour (CARLOS!) of the give an item requests (EX: Buster wants you to give him a cup). Flashing items are related to obtain X from Y quests and clicking them completes the quest. As stated in the previous section, a 90% opinion of an inmate allows you to recruit him and a 15% or less opinions causes him to attack you.
Escape plan
There is 1 way of escaping: getting off screen… Oh wait that’s not what i meant. What i mean is: there are 3 ways to get past that fence.
Using items that directly damage the fence will cut through it. Be careful though, once snipers see you cutting that fence, they wont hestitate to fire. And no, this is not pre ‘The Great Escapists’ Center Perks because of these guys.
You just need some shovels, food items and a pickaxe and you just dig a while, then dig up to escape to freedom. Digging is also reccomended for item storage and a way to access restricted areas for recipes.
Beat and tie up every guard (which is almost impossible on Fhurst Peak) and the warden will open the front gate and beg you not to hurt anyone else. Rope and molten choclate reccomended.
This is optional and wont get you out of there if you do it alone, but it has great loot. First, NEVER GO ON THE ROOF AT DAY. Second use a bed dummy (2 pillows, 1 sheet) so they wont bust you. Bring something that can scale walls and avoid the lights.
