Overview
This guide contains a short list of fictional airline codes and their fictional callsigns used in Tower! 3d Pro.
Introduction & Callsign List
Greetings fellow ATC’ers! While Tower!3D Pro does have the option to purchase actual airline identifiers and callsigns through their website, if you’re just starting out you may find this cheat sheet useful. There are 13 fictional airline callsigns used in the base game, totaling 724 unique callsigns, as follows:
ANG = GOLDSUN (19 unique callsigns)
BLA = LAKES (17)
BTV = WHITE SAND (8)
CBA = CHESHIRE (5)
DEN = DENALI (71)
FRT = FIELD AIR (108)
MAX = MAGIC (181)
PAV = PATIENCE (8)
TAB = LESLIE (145)
TGB = GLOBE (10)
UAX = OZZY (9)
VAL = VALUE (137)
LAW = LATITUDE (6)
Civil aviation (Non-commercial traffic) IDs start with “N” and do not have specific callsigns. To communicate with them, use the numbers and letters following the “N”. For example, “N165ST” would require you to start your comm with “ONE SIX FIVE SIERRA TANGO”, then provide clearance instructions.
Be advised, I have found one “N” ID incorrectly labeled in the game; if you encounter “N1319U”, it’s a typo – it should be “N1219U”!
With some practice, you will get used to the 3-letter airline IDs, but until then, print or screenshot this abbreviation/callsign list and sticky it on your monitor!
