Purchase

  • Note that a current REAL TRAFFIC version (sold separately) is required to display the liveries from Real Color packs
  • Buy the REAL COLOR pack(s) for the desired airport(s)
    [link]
  • Note that in each Real Color pack are unique liveries but also many liveries which are already included in other Real Color packs

A detailed list of the liveries of each pack can be found here:

Community members often give the advice to play a new airport first and only then decide if you can tolerate the number of white planes or if you want to buy the matching Real Color pack.
It is possible that Real Color packs are available for purchase on other websites than the one mentioned here.

Although the individual Real Color packs are specifically targeted at the various airports and are sold as such, the liveries contained in the packs can be used for all airports by using custom schedules.
When using custom schedules, especially those that are based on real life schedules, it may happen that flights are included that are shown in white because there is no livery available for them in any of the Real Color packs.

Download

  • After purchase completion you will receive an email with a download link and your serial number (product registration key)
  • Keep the email or the information it contains well stored
  • In case of problems with the download of a REAL COLOR pack (e.g. after repeated downloads or a long time without a download) please contact [email protected] with your detailed purchase information (especially e-mail address at purchase and product name and ID)
Note: The developer switched vendors in late 2020 and handled new sales through FastSpring. In case of download problems, missing links, not received emails, etc. it is recommended to contact the developer directly:

Update: From June 2021 sales will be handled through BMT Micro again. For purchases after this date, the email address mentioned above can be used again in case of problems.

It may happen that individual Real Color packs receive an update. You will very likely not receive an e-mail notification about this. Use the original link and/or authentication data and information from your purchase confirmation email to download the new version. The current versions of all DLCs can be found here: [link]

Installation

  • Execute the downloaded installer with a double click (e.g. RC_Tower3D_[airport ICAO code].exe)
  • You may be asked to run the file as administrator
  • Confirm that the installer can make changes to your system
  • If you receive a SmartScreen Filter warning (“Windows proteted your PC”), click “More info” (text link), check the box next to “I understand the risk and want to run this app” and then click “Run anyway” (button)
  • Click through the installation process
  • When selecting the version, choose the Tower!3D version you have installed, e.g. “Tower3D Steam” or “Tower3D PRO Steam”
  • Accept the license agreement
  • Enter your or any name (Company is optional) and your registration key received in the purchase confirmation email
  • Select the directory where Steam has installed Tower!3D (Pro)
  • By default the path (for Tower!3D Pro) is: C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonTower 3D Pro
  • If you have not installed Steam in the default directory, select the correct path to the Tower 3D (Pro) folder within the Steam installation folder (..SteamsteamappscommonTower 3D or ..SteamsteamappscommonTower 3D Pro)
  • Complete the installation

Note

  • It is strongly recommended to install Real Traffic before installing the very first Real Color pack.
  • Before installing the very first Real Color pack, the Texturepacks folder does not yet exist. You can either create it yourself in the correct directory or let the installer create it for you. The safest way is to create the folder yourself before installation and then select it in the installer.
  • To make sure (if desired) that the liveries of the latest packs are not overwritten with those of the old packs at game start, you should check that all files in the Texturepacks folder end with a two-digit number. If necessary, the files can be renamed. For example from airplanes_texpack1 to airplanes_texpack01.

Often Steam is not installed in the default directory and therefore the proposed default path in the installer may not be correct when installing a Real Color pack.

If you are unsure or have difficulty finding the correct installation paths and are using a current version of Windows, you can try using T3Dpathfinder to find the correct installation paths.
You can download T3Dpathfinder here:

Please read the ReadMeFirst text file before running one of the CMD files.
