Undertale Secret Bosses – Glyde + So Sorry

Overview

This is simply a guide on how to get the two secret boss fights in the game: Glyde and So Sorry.

Introduction

Let me just say, before i actually start the guide, that this is my first ever guide,so don’t blame me if it kind of sucks.

Well, if you’ve played through Undertale and have been looking through Undertale stuff on Youtube or pretty much anything else, then you’ve probably heard about the two secret bosses that this game offers, Glyde and So Sorry.

Let me say a few things before i show you how to get the boss battles. First, I will be going into this guide assuming that you’ve already beaten the game, so spoilers ahead if you haven’t beaten the game. Secondly, this guide won’t show you how to beat the boss. Just how to encounter them. Third, neither of these boss battles can be done if you have already beaten the final boss, I sadly had to deal with that. 🙁 Finally, I have not yet confirmed any of the stuff I’m saying here (except the third point). I beat the game, so I couldn’t do these, and I’m simply using what I found on the Interwebz. I will be confirming all this stuff soon, so yeah, and please correct me about anything in the comments. So now, let’s dive into the encounters!

Glyde

So Glyde is the harder of the two bosses to encounter. Here are the requirements you need to get his boss fight:

-Haven’t fought Papyrus yet

That’s basically it.

Anyways, to encounter this boss, you need to get to this area in Snowdin’ and walk around for about 3 minutes. (Edit: That’s on pacifist at least. I’ve recently learned that the higher your kill count, the longer it will take to encounter Glyde. In a genocide run, it can take upwards of 30 minutes.)

I’ve heard that there’s a glitch to encounter Glyde easier which is to play in windows and get Undertale out of focus and just keep walking around. I just assume that they mean to do this and just spazz out in the corner:

Somebody please tell me what exactly that means.

So Sorry

Now comes So Sorry. Here are the requirements:

-You need to have gotten to the resort (although I’d beat Mettaton EX first to be safe)
-You have to set your computer’s time and date to October 10th at 8 P.M.

Once you have these requirements done, you need to go to HotLand and use the elevator to get to Right 2. Once you have, just go left until you get here, where there is a secret bridge to an art club.

If you’ve set the date and time to October 10th at 8 P.M., you can check the sign and So Sorry will run into you, starting the battle.

(EDIT: Sorry it took so long to put this edit up, but yes. This is all true.)

Also, I just wanted to note that there is apparently a rumor that killing So Sorry won’t affect a Pacifist playthrough. That is false.
