So, you want to do a genocide run. Before you start, please realise that genocide run will bend you over and **** you. Hopefully this guide can help you.
Overview
So, what does the genocide run entitle? You need to kill a specific amout of enemies in each area of the game, after that no enemies will spawn. Once you kill the proper amount of enemies, the save points will simply read out “determination”. You only have to fight 2 bosses in this run. Undyne the undying and Sans the skeleton. I will go more in detail for these bosses in each of their section. To fulfil the requirements, you need to kill 20 enemies in the ruins, 16 in snowdin, 14 in water fall and 40 in hotland/core. If you get 3 enemies in one encounter, and kill all of them this counts 3 toward the total kill count. With that said, let’s get into this guide.
Pre-undyne
You can do this run anytime in your playthrough. There are no pre-requirements for this run. You will do ruins simmilar to the other runs. Once you get to the ending of the ruins, just run in circles near a save point until the save point says determination. When you see this, progress through the ruins as usual. When you get to toriel, if you got the 20 enemy kills, you will one shot toriel. Snowdin is the same story, make sure you have a savepoint that reads determination. Where the snowman usually is, you can get 3 snowpeices. At the shop, buy 2 cinamon bunnies. Then progress as usual then you will one hit papayrus. In waterfall, all of the puzzles are solved. But in the second puzzle room with the bridge flowers, use the flowers to go to the bottom right of the screen. Check under the bench and you will get the abandoned quiche. Go to the piano room and google the puzzle room puzzle undertale, it will tell you what you need to press to get dog salad. Same story to get the kills and get the determination text. Eventually, you will fight monster kid, after you will encounter undyne.
Boss- Undyne the undying
This boss is quite difficult. My prefered set of armor for this fight is glasses and notebook. Navigate the shield to block her arrows. Keep attacking her. Use all healing items exept the pie if you need too. This fight will take a long time to learn the patterns. STAY DETERMINED! It will pay off. The most important part of this fight is learning the patterns, her attacks are very scripted
Pre-Sans
Once you do this, continue through hotlands and go down and get the frying pan. There is nothing to do other than that in hotlands. The puzzles are already solved. You one hit muffet. You then have the core. This is where you will farm encounters on the bridge near mettatons fight. You need 40 kills here. Once you do this, you one hit mettaton. Get the steak and legendary heroes before you advance. Continue through new home. There is nothing to do here. You will get to sans.
Sans the Skeleton.
Use all healing items, this is the last and hardest fight in the entire game. I dont really know what to say so il let this video say it.
Epilogue and Charra
Walk to asgore’s room. You don’t have to fight him. He will die. WARNING: From this point on, if you continue, it will alter your game data PERMANENTLY. You can still complete the game but you will get a bad pacifist ending. Also, it will take 10 minutes next time you load the game to begin playing. And thats it!
